Gavin And Stacey star Ruth Jones and Withnail And I's Richard E Grant are to star in a new BBC drama inspired by Jane Austen.
The Other Bennet Sister, which is an adaption of the novel of the same name by Janice Hadlow, will also star Laurie Davidson, Donal Finn, Indira Varma, and Richard Coyle, when it airs on BBC One and iPlayer next year.
The show, which promises to introduce new characters to the world of Pride And Prejudice, will star Grant and Jones as Mr and Mrs Bennet, Varma and Coyle as Mr and Mrs Gardiner, and Davidson and Finn as Mr Ryder and Mr Hayward respectively.
They will star alongside Call The Midwife's Ella Bruccoleri as Mary Bennet, with filming already under way in Wales.
The Other Bennet Sister will see the Gardiners take Mary under their wing as governess to their three children – Marianne (Roisin Bhalla), George (Reggie Absolom), and Rebecca (Jasmine Sharp) – introducing her to an exciting new social world in 10 half-hour episodes.

Sarah Quintrell will write nine of the series' 10 episodes, while Maddie Dai will write one episode.
Jane Tranter, who will executive produce the show for Bad Wolf, added: "We have been working behind the scenes on The Other Bennet Sister for many years now, and Janice's brilliantly observed characters have lived and grown in our imaginations throughout that time as Sarah has been working on the scripts.

"Each one brings something new and exciting to the world of Austen, and all of us at Bad Wolf are delighted to be making a drama that brings such joy."
An exact release date for The Other Bennet Sister is yet to be announced.

Jones played Vanessa 'Nessa' Jenkins in three series and three Christmas specials. The show's finale episode, which aired on Christmas Day last year, saw Jones's character Nessa marry Neil 'Smithy' Smith, played by fellow co-writer and close friend James Corden. At this year's TV Baftas, Jones won the best female performance in a comedy for her role in Gavin and Stacey. Jones has also appeared in ITV drama Fat Friends, BBC sketch show Little Britain, BBC sitcom Saxondale, and BBC black comedy Nighty Night. Other roles include playing Carry On star Hattie Jacques in a BBC biopic. In 2014, Jones was made a Member Of The Order Of The British Empire (MBE) in the New Year Honours for her services to entertainment. It was recently revealed that Jones has landed a role in a new BBC Drama series, which is currently being filmed in Wales. Liam Og O hAnnaidh, who performs under the stage name Mo Chara, and his bandmates Naoise O Caireallain and J J O Dochartaigh were cheered by hundreds of supporters as they arrived in 'Free Mo Chara' T-shirts at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Wednesday. Dozens surged around the entrance of the court building as they made their way inside, with some also entering the lobby before the hearing, trying to get close to the Belfast trio. O hAnnaidh was charged last month after allegedly displaying a flag in support of proscribed terrorist organisation Hezbollah at a gig in November last year. The court heard the 27-year-old is 'well within his rights' to voice his opinions on Israel and Palestine, but the alleged incident at the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, north London, is a 'wholly different thing'. After the brief hearing concluded, the defendant exited the court building to a festival-like atmosphere, with fans waving flags, playing drums and one supporter setting off a smoke canister. During the hearing, the allegations against O hAnnaidh were summarised by prosecutor Michael Bisgrove, who said: 'It's not about Mr O hAnnaidh's support for the people of Palestine or his criticism of Israel. 'He's well within his rights to voice his opinions and solidarity, as is anybody else. 'The allegation in this case is a wholly different thing and deals with a video recording showing that, in November of last year, Mr O hAnnaidh wore and displayed the flag of Hezbollah, a proscribed terrorist organisation, while saying 'up Hamas, up Hezbollah'. 'Of course, support for the one is not the same as support for the other. 'So the issue in this case, and the reason it has come to court, it centres on the apparent support by Mr O hAnnaidh of a proscribed terrorist organisation.' Wearing a dark zip-up jacket and trousers, the defendant spoke briefly to confirm his identity at the beginning of the hearing. Hundreds of fans, along with journalists, crammed against the doors of the court building as they waited for the performer to leave. Outside court following the hearing, O hAnnaidh's bandmate, Mr O Caireallain, led the huge crowds in chants of 'Free Palestine'. Wearing sunglasses and a keffiyeh, Mr O Caireallain said: 'For anybody going to Glastonbury, you can see us there at 4pm on the Saturday. 'If you can't be there we'll be on the BBC, if anybody watches the BBC. We'll be at Wembley in September. 'But most importantly: free, free Palestine.' O hAnnaidh was released on unconditional bail until his next hearing at the same court on August 20.
