A young cousin of Princes William and Harry has been found dead in tragic circumstances.
Rosie Roche, the granddaughter of their mother Princess Diana's uncle, was found dead at the family home at Norton in Wiltshire by her mother and sister on July 14, The Sun reports.
A firearm was found near her body and the death has been deemed as 'non-suspicious with no third party involvement' by coroner Grant Davies.
Ms Roche had been studying English Literature at Durham University and had been packing to go away with friends on the day she died.
A spokeswoman said she 'will be sorely missed'.
Ms Roche's family and Prince William have not yet commented publicly on her death.
An obituary in the Yorkshire Post read: 'Roche, Rosie Jeanne Burke. Died on Monday 14th July 2025.
'Darling daughter of Hugh and Pippa, incredible sister to Archie and Agatha, Granddaughter to Derek and Rae Long.
'Private family funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date.'
An inquest into Ms Roche's death will resume on October 25.
The tragedy comes just over a year after Thomas Kingston, the son-in-law of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent was found dead at his home in Gloucestershire from a gunshot wound to the head.
The 45-year-old's death was deemed not suspicious.
Mr Kingston was married to the Kent's daughter Lady Gabriella Windsor.

Tour de France invader smashed off bike in prank gone wrong

Police and security were forced to tackle a 'prankster' who invaded the track at the Tour de France, just moments before the stage's conclusion. The Sun reports the end of stage 17 almost ended in calamity when a spectator leapt over the boardings with his bike and tried to ride across the finish line. The unknown individual was dressed in full gear so as to look like a team rider, but was immediately spotted by onlookers. The man was wearing a Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale jersey. Images released of the incident show that the man managed to cross the finish line before he was tackled by a police offer and fell off his bike and to the ground. He was then quickly removed from the track in order to clear a pathway for the fast-approaching leaders who were due to follow soon after. It's not the first time that there have been issues on the track at this year's Tour either. Security had to leap in front of a pro-Palestine protester who had made their way onto the track during stage 11 of the race. The track-invader sprinted down the racecourse with his hands in the air just 25 metres from the finish line of the stage last Wednesday, with riders cycling past as it happened. The protester was wearing a t-shirt that read: 'Israel out of the Tour.' He also held a keffiyeh, a black-and-white checkered headdress and pro-Palestine symbol. The individual was tackled, thrust against the boardings and hauled off the road by security. Other fan incidents at this year's Tour de France have included an Ineos team car hitting into a spectator that stepped onto the road during the 14th stage of the race. Fortunately Thursday's incident didn't cause any crashes. However, pouring rain in the final 30km of the 60.4km stage from Bollene to Valence did cause a crash of its own. With just 1km left to go a mass crash took out Tim Merlier and Biniam Girmay, opening the door for Jonathan Milan to claim his second stage victory of this year's Tour. Speaking after the win, Milan said: 'This is a really fantastic team victory and I have to thank them from the bottom of my heart. 'I survived with the help of my teammates. Without this, I would not be here. They delivered me in the best position (for the finish).' Aussie wins mountain stage from Pogacar On Friday morning (AEST) Australia's Ben O'Connor won stage 18 of the Tour de France with a world class climb in the mountains. O'Connor, 29, took off alone 15km from the finish and navigated the mountain mist to win 1min 45sec ahead of Pogacar atop the Col de la Loze. The stage victory was an emotional one for the Aussie, who coming into the race had aspirations of fighting for the general classification. However, those goals were quickly dashed after a stage 1 crash which he said left him 'pretty banged up'. 'It's a pretty cruel race,' O'Connor said to reporters.

Magistrate's message to man accused of fatally striking pedestrian with e-bike

A man accused of killing a pedestrian while riding an illegally modified e-bike has appeared in court. Jacob Charleston, 24, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court with his arm in a sling on Wednesday for a bail review hearing. He was granted bail earlier in July after being charged with offences including dangerous driving causing death. Police allege Mr Charleston was unlicensed and had methamphetamine in his system when he fatally struck 69-year-old William Lothian with a pushbike fitted with a 5000-watt motor. The impact occurred as Mr Lothian was crossing Frankston-Flinders Rd in Hastings in the evening of May 12. The magistrate adjourned the matter for a month, stressing the importance of the accused engaging with the support programs tied to his bail conditions. 'Seek the assistance that's been provided,' the magistrate said. 'If you don't it will be to your detriment.' Mr Charleston is expected to return to court in August.

Journalist's horror discovery reporting missing girl case

A Brazilian journalist has made a grim discovery while reporting on a missing schoolgirl who was last seen swimming in the Mearim River in Bacabal, northeastern Brazil. Lenildo Frazão was reporting from chest deep in the river while a segment was filmed, illustrating the depth of the river where the 13-year-old was seen cooling off with friends. 'The water is already above my chest, so you can see the situation there. If I walk a little here, let me see, I'm going to walk a bit more, here it's deep' Frazão confirmed in Spanish as he waded through the water. Chillingly, as he takes a step deeper he immediately springs back in panic, rushing out of the river, holding his microphone above the water's surface. 'I found something at the bottom of the water . . . it wasn't soft' he said. Frazão wasn't exactly sure what he'd felt, but he feared the worst and refused to continue the report. 'No, I'm not going, I'm scared. It felt like an arm, could it be her? But it might be a fish too, I don't know.' Following the reporter's eerie experience, divers and firefighters resumed the search for the missing girl on the morning of June 30. Sadly, they soon located the schoolgirl's body, close to where Frazão had been filming. Frazão wasn't exactly sure what he'd felt, but he feared the worst and refused to continue the report. Frazão had emphasised the river's hazardous risks during the start of his report, emphasising its powerful currents and irregular depth created by holes in the riverbed. Accidental drowning was confirmed as the cause of death after a post-mortem examination revealed no evidence of trauma. Raíssa was buried on June 30 according to The Sun.
