(Video) Malaysian EXO-L Gets Noticed By EXO's Kai For His Eye-Catching Concert Outfit

Hype Malaysia19-05-2025

EXO (엑소) member Kai (카이) recently kickstarted his 'KAION' solo concert tour in Seoul, performing for thousands of EXO-Ls (EXO fans). However, one surprising highlight of yesterday's show was a Malaysian fan who caught the idol's attention with his eye-catching concert outfit.
For context, the concert had a dress code of 'camouflage military'. As such, many fans showed up in camo print and combat-style clothing. However, one fan took it further and showed up at the concert wearing a full ghillie suit. The fan quickly went viral for the unusual yet very on-theme outfit. As it turned out, the mysterious fan was a Malaysian EXO-L based in Seoul named Naufal Omar.
After learning of his identity, fans flooded Naufal's Twitter account with comments on his outfit. Many praised his dedication to the dress code, even saying he won the night with his outfit. Others also hoped that Kai would notice his hard work, noting that it's uncomfortable to wear a ghillie suit to a concert. Thankfully, Naufal's efforts were not in vain because the EXO member did notice him and even gave him a shout-out on stage.
In the video Naufal shared, the singer was on stage when he said he wanted to look for the fan in the ghillie suit. After locating Naufal in the crowd, Kai cheekily asked him, 'Aren't you hot?', before telling him to take a cold shower once he returns home from the concert. Adding to Naufal's surprise, Kai remembered that the two had met three years ago for a video on the Hello82 YouTube channel.
Netizens filled the comments section, congratulating Naufal for getting noticed by his idol. Some also pointed out how Kai remembered him, highlighting the 'Adult Swim' singer's love for his fans. Others said that the fan deserved the shout-out for going through the trouble of wearing a ghillie suit to the concert. Naufal was understandably elated over the interaction, even saying he could 'rest in peace' after the interaction.
Congratulations to Naufal for getting noticed by his idol! Perhaps more Malaysians can catch Kai's attention during his KL concert this weekend! In the meantime, watch the moment when Naufal got a shout-out from Kai below:

Neelofa's Sister's 'I'm Not Malay' Statement Riles Some People, But Anger May Have Stemmed From Misunderstanding

Subscribe to our FREE A person's heritage is not easily identifiable as looks and names can be confusing, sometimes. What we assume based on appearance is not always accurate. This issue has been discussed online lately after a Malaysian social media influencer, Ameera Khan, who is also the sister of actress Neelofa, talked about her heritage. Ameera recently, during an Instagram live session, told curious netizens that she has no Malay blood in her. Through the 'It's not that I don't want to identify as a Malay, it is a fact that my parents have no Malay blood in them. So how can I call myself a Malay?' she said. Fluent in Bahasa Melayu especially the Kelantanese dialect Even though Ameera doesn't have Malay blood in her, she admitted and as we can clearly hear, she is fluent in Bahasa Melayu especially in the Kelantanese dialect, as she was born and raised there. According to her, she knows the story of how her mother was born and settled in Kelantan. However, she no longer remembers it clearly. Ameera added that she would just tell people she is Malay whenever she is asked about it, in order to avoid being questioned further. 'Usually when people ask if I'm Malay, I just answer yes – I simply answer like that because it's easier, because people will say I'm delusional if I told them otherwise,' she added. Misunderstanding? In her Live video, Ameera spoke in English and effortlessly switched back and forth in the Kelantanese dialect. This led to her being misquoted. While she said 'It's not that I don't want to say I am Malay', the misunderstanding occurred when what she said in the Kelantanese dialect was translated to 'Bukan tak nak cakap Melayu, tapi memang mak bapak aku tak ada darah Melayu.' Some took this to mean that she refused to speak Malay (Bahasa Melayu), when what she said was 'It's not that I don't want to say I am Malay', which has an entirely different meaning. Traders making a fortune from Labubu craze

TRADERS in mainland China are said to be profiting handsomely from the sale of clothes and accessories for the Labubu plush toy, China Press reported. For instance, businesswoman Gu Huijie opened three retail stores in Zhejiang province this year, offering only such apparel for sale. Her factory, which employs around 700 workers, produces 20,000 to 30,000 clothing items for the dolls every day just to meet consumer demand. Gui would introduce about 20 new designs each day, adding them to her catalogue, which already has over 1,000 items. The popularity of Labubu dolls has exploded recently in China. Labubu, a character with serrated teeth and pointy ears, was created by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung in his picture books featuring Nordic fairy tales. > Hong Kong boy band member Edan Lui, who was noticeably missing from his rumoured Malaysian actress girlfriend Lin Min Chen's birthday photos, was recently spotted in her hometown in Penang, Sin Chew Daily reported. Lui, 28, posted a photo of himself online wearing a batik shirt. 'Goodnight from Penang,' he wrote. He is in Malaysia to film a variety show; however, many fans suspect that he may also be visiting Lin. Based in Taiwan, Lin, 35, has also released several music albums.
