India Guaranteed 43 Medals At Asian U-15, U-17 Boxing Championships
Four more pugilists qualified for the semifinals as India was guaranteed a haul of 43 medals in the inaugural Asian U-15 & U-17 Boxing Championships in Amman, Jordan. India is assured of at least 25 medals in the U-15 category while another 18 are set to be won in the U-17 section, since all semifinalists are awarded bronze medals. Aman Siwach (63kg) and Devansh (80kg) led the charge in the U-17 boys' section, both securing Referee Stopped Contest (RSC) wins over opponents from the Philippines and Jordan in the last set of quarterfinals bouts.
In the girls' division, Simranjeet Kaur (60kg) posted a 5-0 win over Jordan's Aya Alhasanat, while Himanshi (70kg) ended her bout in the very first round with an RSC against Palestine's Farah Abou Layla.

Former India Bowling Coach Bharat Arun To Conduct Training Program In Sri Lanka
Former India bowling coach Bharat Arun will conduct a specialised 14-day training program for Sri Lankan cricketers across men's and women's junior and senior teams as well as coaches from June 2. Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) informed in a statement on Friday that Arun will conduct training programs for their men's and women's national teams, women's A team, U-19 men's team, coaches of the High Performance Centre, club and provincial coaches as well as coach educators. Arun, who was India's bowling coach from 2014-2021, will be the second former coach of the national team after R Sridhar to conduct training sessions for cricketers from the island nation and he will commence the program by training the U-19 men's squad. Arun will also hold separate strategy sessions with the men's red-ball and white-ball teams and conduct technical and skill-based training with fast bowlers. India to play Qatar, Bahrain, Brunei Darussalam in AFC U23 Asian Cup Qualifiers
New Delhi, The India U-23 men's national team was on Thursday drawn in Group H of the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qualifiers and will play against hosts Qatar, Bahrain, and Brunei Darussalam. The draw was conducted at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur. Qatar, the highest-seeded team among the four, will host Group H, with the matches slated to be played between September 1 to 9. A total of 44 teams were divided into 11 groups of four each. The group winners and the four best runners-up, alongside hosts Saudi Arabia, will complete the cast of 16 teams for the seventh edition of the AFC U23 Asian Cup, which will take place in January 2026. The seedings for the draw were based on a points system derived from the teams' final rankings across the previous three editions of the tournament. India were placed in Pot 3. India had earlier appointed Naushad Moosa as the head coach of their U-23 national team. Moosa takes charge from June 1, when the Blue Colts assemble in Kolkata for a training camp, before flying off to Tajikistan to play two exposure matches against Tajikistan and Kyrgyz Republic .
