A 2022 Hellcat Redeye, extensively modified by , is now up for auction, offering muscle car enthusiasts a rare fusion of classic styling and modern performance.
Unveiled at the 2024 SEMA Show, this C68 Carbon build is the 11th example created by EXOMOD, but the first to showcase an exposed carbon-fiber finish. Unlike a standard Hellcat Redeye, this model features a 1968 Dodge Charger-inspired carbon-fiber exoskeleton, finished in a transparent Kandy Apple Red with accents in Pagan Gold Kandy. The result is a wide-bodied, retro-styled muscle car with state-of-the-art materials.
Underneath its carbon-fiber shell, the C68 Carbon retains the heart of a modern performance machine. The 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8, enhanced with Hennessey's H1000 package, delivers an astounding 1,000 horsepower and 948 lb-ft of torque. Supporting the high-output engine are upgrades such as a high-flow induction system, stainless-steel long-tube headers, and enhanced cooling technologies, including the SRT Power Chiller. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission with an anti-spin differential.
The vehicle is equipped with SRT Competition Suspension, electronic stability control, and Brembo brakes, featuring six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over 15.7-inch slotted rotors. Custom 20-inch Forgeline wheels, finished in satin Brass Monkey, are wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 tires, ensuring the car's high-speed stability matches its aggressive stance.
Inside, the cabin exudes luxury with Doeskin and Tobacco leather, Old Gold diamond stitching, and an 18-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. Modern tech features include dual-zone climate control, an 8.4-inch Uconnect infotainment system, and a remote start system.
With just 554 miles on the odometer, this unique Hellcat Redeye C68 Carbon is being offered with a clean Carfax report and Montana title, making it a rare opportunity for collectors.

Wayne Gretzky's Rare 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition Hits the Ice on Bring a Trailer

Read the full story on Modern Car Collector A supercharged slice of American performance history with celebrity provenance has hit the auction block as Wayne Gretzky's 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition is now live on Bring a Trailer, ending June 6. Already a sought-after modern classic, the first-generation Ford GT stands out for its old-school supercar feel—manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, and raw V8 power. This example adds a layer of exclusivity, having once been owned by the NHL's all-time leading scorer, the 'Great One' himself. Finished in the iconic Gulf livery—pale blue and orange—this Heritage Edition echoes the 1960s GT40s that triumphed at Le Mans. Number '99' decals on the doors serve as a nod to Gretzky's legendary jersey number, further enhancing its appeal to both car collectors and hockey fans alike. Under the rear clamshell sits a 5.4-liter supercharged V8, producing 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Paired to a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, the GT delivers a driving experience that's both visceral and nostalgic. Car and Driver clocked this model at 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds when new, making it quicker than several European exotics of its day. Despite its performance pedigree, this car has barely been exercised, showing just 1,200 miles on the odometer. Inside, it offers modest creature comforts like air conditioning and a CD player—rare luxuries in such a focused machine. While celebrity ownership can add inconsistent value, the combination of ultra-low mileage, a desirable Heritage Edition, and connection to a sports icon makes this Ford GT a compelling bidder's target. Bidding is open now through June 6, and given rising market interest in early Ford GTs, this one is expected to draw serious attention—and potentially, a price worthy of its legendary lineage. Our Dodge Charger Daytona EV Had a Curious Case of Unintended Acceleration

There are certain things in my life that I simply expect to work the same every time. Water coming out of my kitchen faucet when I turn it on, for example, or the repetitive banality of a Hallmark holiday movie. A vehicle's accelerator and brake pedals would be on that list, too. Yet disappointingly, Edmunds' all-electric 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona couldn't get that right recently. Let's call this the curious case of a Dodge Charger's unintended acceleration. I'll get into it, but some background first. This Dodge Charger is part of Edmunds' One-Year Road Test fleet. These are vehicles that Edmunds' editorial team drives and lives with for a year (sometimes more), so we can better report on what the ownership experience is actually like. We bought our 670-horsepower Charger for $85,965 a few months ago, and I had been driving it for about a week in late May when the following situation occurred.
