Bebe Rexha hits out at Azealia Banks for ‘body shaming' her Met Gala look
Bebe Rexha fired back — and made a deeply personal revelation — after Azealia Banks body shamed her over her Met Gala appearance.
'Sis gives me – hormonal birth control implant or something,' Banks, who did not attend the glamorous event in New York City, wrote via X on Monday.
'It's giving implanon/nuvaring she needs removed or depo shot that needs to stop happening (I'm not even tryna play her).'
Rexha, who wore a plunging black tuxedo-inspired gown by Christian Siriano to fashion's biggest night, responded in a since-deleted post on X Tuesday, 'I'm so tired of people commenting on my weight.'
'I have PCOS [polycystic ovary syndrome] and struggle with infertility,' the Meant to Be singer, 35, further explained.
Rexha then confessed, 'I got pregnant, and it didn't work out and I've been carrying that pain in silence. I never owed anyone the truth, but maybe now you'll think twice before commenting on anyone's body.'
The In the Name of Love singer did not expand on when she suffered the pregnancy loss or with whom she was expecting a child.
Rexha then wrote in a separate post on X — directly to Banks, 'And you might wanna jump on some type of therapy, sis, lexapro worked great for me.'
'something that helps with the deep rooted sadness and chaos you keep projecting,' she continued. 'Healing looks good on everyone. Try it.'
Banks has not responded to Rexha's remarks on social media. Page Six has also reached out to the rapper's rep for comment but has not heard back.
Meanwhile, Rexha's fans took to the comments thread to express their sympathies and send her support.
'I'm sorry for the loss of your baby,' remarked a follower, 'deepest sympathies.'
'You are so beautiful, inside and out, you know,' wrote another. 'No matter the haters, filter what you see here for the sake of your mental health! I hope you are well, sending you lots of love.'
'There's a whole army behind you,' a third wrote in part.
Rexha was most recently romantically linked to Greek architect Simos Liakos in 2024. She previously broke up with ex Keyan Safyari after putting him on blast for an alleged body-shaming text in 2023.
On Tuesday, the I'm Good singer showed off her sultry, diamond-encrusted Met Gala look via an Instagram carousel that included her pre-event beauty routine.
'My first Met Gala,' she captioned the post, along with shooting stars and hearts.

Sarah Jessica Parker's three children seen in rare photo
Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's three children are all grown up. The couple's 22-year-old son, James, took to Instagram this week to celebrate his graduation from Brown University by sharing multiple snaps of the big moment, including one with his 15-year-old twin sisters, Tabitha and Marion. In the sweet photo, the Sex and the City actress' eldest child wore his black graduation gown and a brown stole layered over a blue suit and tie. He also wore white sneakers and put his brown waves on full display while carrying his graduation cap in one hand. Tabitha and Marion matched in green shirts and jeans as they walked alongside their big brother following the ceremony. HBO producer Liviya Kraemer, who worked on Divorce with SJP, also released a photo of the new college graduate to honour his academic achievement. 'Extra special congratulations to @jwbr0derick!!!!!!!!! Now let's do this every five years,' Kraemer captioned the photo shared to her Instagram Story. James has followed in his parents' footsteps by pursuing a career in acting and even guest-starred in his dad's show Elsbeth earlier this year. The Failure to Launch star, 60, and Broderick, 63, were not seen in any of the images from the graduation. The couple typically keeps their children out of the spotlight and off social media, though they have made some rare red carpet appearances at Hollywood events over the years. Last April, Parker and the Ferris Bueller's Day Off actor attended the Broadway premiere of Smash with their daughters. Four months later, the couple and their entire brood attended the 2024 Paris Olympics. In July 2024, Broderick and his kids walked the red carpet sans Parker for the Broadway opening of Oh, Mary! That summer, Broderick and Parker celebrated their twins' 15th birthday with a balloon-filled party. Broderick and Parker have been married since 1997.

Renée Zellweger and Ant Anstead shut down split rumours
On Thursday, editors at the Daily Mail claimed the Oscar-winning actress and TV personality had been "living apart for the past year". They also alleged Anstead has been staying at the home of Julia French in Laguna Beach, California while Zellweger films the upcoming season of Only Murders in the Building in New York City. A source claimed the Wheeler Dealers co-host had been living in an apartment on French's property since he moved out of his rental in April. However, a representative for Anstead later shut down the report.
