Time of India09-07-2025
After captivating audiences with its first season, Enigma is set to return with a frightening second chapter. The first season combined high-school discomfort with occult overtones, and it received immediate recognition for its smart writing, cinematic imagery, and emotionally driven mystery, all delivered in four tightly connected episodes.
Season 2, titled Enigma 2, premieres on July 26, 2025, and will stream on ONE31 and Netflix Thailand. Directed by Patha Thongpan and produced by GMMTV in collaboration with Parbdee Tawesuk, the upcoming season follows the breakout success of the original, which first aired on GMM25 and Prime Video.
A recap of Enigma Season 1
Set in a prominent school, Enigma introduces Fa (Prim Chanikarn), a high-achieving student who suspects something is wrong. Her anxiety only grows with the arrival of Ajin (Win Metawin), a mysterious new teacher whose presence sets off a series of horrific and unexplainable incidents. As their paths cross, the two discover dark rites, black magic, and a shadowy cult lurking behind the polished surface of school life.
What made Enigma standout?
This drama is about more than just black magic and eerie themes; it also delves into deeper concerns such as school pressure, buried anguish, and the cost of pursuing success. Each scenario is enhanced by outstanding graphics, including moody lighting, haunting tones, and crisp design.
Prim and Win's on-screen chemistry adds complexity to the eerie plot, while excellent performances from rising Thai actors Namsine and Yiwha demonstrate how Enigma integrates intelligence and beauty into its brand of horror.
Enigma Part 2: A deadly stage and a darker cast
Season two takes us to new world where the plot is about the great play "The Bloom and a Thousand Bees" being remade. As casting begins, emerging talents compete fiercely for the lead female role, and will do anything to get the spot. Behind the glitz and ambition, something dark is stirring. A mystery group keeps a watchful eye on things, as dark magic slowly returns to the spotlight and what is beyond the curtain, could be far more dangerous.
Toey Jarinporn Joonkiat stars in this terrifying new chapter with returning lead Win Metawin, while the drama will also feature Mint Thishar Thurachon, JingJing Prariyapit Yu, and Namtan Tipnaree Weerawatnodom to round up the cast. With new faces and higher stakes, Enigma Part 2 promises to deliver even more mystery, magic, and menace.
Where to watch Enigma?
The first season premiered on GMM25 and is also available for international streaming on Prime Video, making it easily accessible to global viewers. With only four densely packed episodes, it's the ideal weekend binge for aficionados of otherworldly thrillers. Enigma season 2 will be released soon on ONE31 and Netflix Thailand.

Thai Restaurant Uses Zip Line To Deliver Meal: 'Fast Food Has A Whole New Meaning Now'

To offer quick service, a fine-dining restaurant in Bangkok delivers food to the customer's table in minimal time. The food industry today is fiercely competitive, with businesses constantly striving to stand out, adapt to evolving consumer preferences and streamline operations to stay ahead. This competition drives innovation and efficiency across various segments, from food production and processing to retail and customer service. Restaurants, in particular, are experimenting with creative strategies to attract diners. From inventive food and beverage offerings to immersive dining experiences and themed spaces, the race for customer attention is more intense than ever. But one restaurant in Bangkok has taken things a step further, offering dining with an adventurous twist unlike any other. To offer quick service, a fine-dining restaurant in Bangkok came up with this unique idea to use a Zip line to deliver food to the customer's table in minimal time. Yes! You read that right. In a video shared on Instagram, a waiter, dressed in a traditional red Thai outfit and holding a tray, is seen sliding down an inclined cable, while attached to a pulley or harness, offering a thrilling take on a fine-dining experience. Here's What Foodies And Social Media Users Are Saying As soon as the video was shared online, it captured the audience's attention. While some liked this new concept to deliver food to customers in record time, others joked about it. An Instagram user wrote, 'This is so cute, but I don't want my food cold." Another one shared, 'Fast food has a whole new meaning." One of them commented, 'Visual representation of my high standards." A person wrote, 'Stop playing around with my FOOD." Another one penned, 'My food is getting cold with all that breeze." A comment read, 'I said I wanted my dish with a bit of lime, not a zip line." Another one read, 'If I ever had to work at a restaurant, it would 100 per cent be this one." A person shared, 'It'd be more exciting if I could use the zipline to go to the restroom and back." The restaurant in question was Royal Dragon, once crowned the world's largest restaurant. With a seating capacity of over 5,000 guests and a staff strength of more than 1,000, it even earned a place in the Guinness World Records. However, for those enchanted by its grand concept, there's a twist: Royal Dragon has been permanently closed for over five years, leaving behind only memories of its scale and spectacle.
