General Hospital spoilers: Kristina learns of an Ava secret?

At this point, it seems as if there are more secrets than characters on General Hospital. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is hiding from Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that she gave birth to their child years ago. Lois (Rena Sofer) refuses to tell them both that the child in question is Gio (Giovanni Mazza), who is also in the dark about the family tie. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) hasn't told any of her loved ones that she's in the WSB, and in turn, Jack (Chris McKenna) hasn't shared with Carly (Laura Wright) that he recruited her daughter. The list truly does go on.
Now the one secret we're going to zero in on is the one about Kristina (Kate Mansi) attempting to kill Ava (Maura West). Weeks ago, Kristina thought she was cutting the brakes to Ava's car, but mistakenly cut the brakes to Ric's (Rick Hearst) vehicle instead.
This, of course, led to Ric's car crash that nearly cost him his life and that of Elizabeth's (Rebecca Herbst). In the aftermath, Kristina has felt remorseful, but has remained quiet, thinking she's getting away with attempted murder and not wanting to destroy her relationship with Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Kristina has no idea she should be thanking Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for her continued freedom and newly healed relationship with her sister.
Since Ava was able to get footage of Kristina in the parking garage the night of the car crash and has the car itself, Ava has been blackmailing Alexis to maintain her silence. The evidence the art gallery owner has could lead to Kristina's arrest, and Alexis, being a protective mother, doesn't want to see that happen. So, the attorney has been embezzling money from the Cassadine Estate to pay Ava hush money.
Having said all of that, Kristina is bound to find out the lengths her mother is going to in order to protect her. This revelation could happen thanks to a conversation Kristina overhears between Alexis and Ava or Alexis and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), or Kristina could learn of this blackmail secret by some other means. Regardless of how she learns, we venture to say she's bound to be stunned.
With the truth, we imagine Kristina is bound to do one of two things. If she sticks to type, then she's going to explode. Ironically, this could lead to another heated confrontation with Ava, as Kristina likely wouldn't care for Ava blackmailing her mother. Would Kristina then attempt to finish what she started, and make another attempt on Ava's life, feeling it's the only way to deal with Ava once and for all?
There's also a chance that Kristina will shock us, and when she learns of Ava's blackmail, she voluntarily decides to check herself into the mental health facility. While a move like this could ultimately mean Kristina stands trial for her crimes, we'd venture to say she has a chance of not going to prison due to a not guilty plea by reason of insanity. But even if she escapes prison, that may not spare Kristina the wrath of Molly.

Jurassic World: Rebirth Director Reveals Ridley Scott Movie That Inspired The Sequel (And It's Not Alien)

Ridley Scott's fingerprint can be seen on pretty much every great sci-fi movie that has come out since his 1979 space horror film Alien changed the game. Many filmmakers have been influenced by his movies over the years, including Gareth Edwards, whose upcoming Jurassic World: Rebirth is about to make another addition to the Jurassic Park franchise. However, it wasn't Alien that inspired the new sequel. Ahead of the premiere of one of the biggest releases on the 2025 movie schedule, Edwards sat down for a chat with SFX Magazine (via to discuss his upcoming sci-fi thriller and where he took inspiration from to bring the dinosaur blockbuster to the big screen. During that conversation, the Godzilla and Rogue One director revealed that it was Scott's 2005 historical drama, Kingdom of Heaven, that inspired him greatly, specifically when it came to the director of photography: John Mathieson was the director of photography, and the more and more I looked at it, the more I was like, 'This is perfection.' There's not a bad frame in this movie. I've always had this love for his work. Mahieson, who first worked with Scott on the 2000 Best Picture winner Gladiator, has collaborated with the famed filmmaker multiple times over the years, including most recently with Gladiator II. His work on Kingdom of Heaven, a great movie that somehow flopped at the box office, is honestly some of his best work. Based on Edwards' comments, he really wanted to work with the man who gave Kingdom of Heaven such a captivating look and feel, but he had to work with Universal to get the ball rolling, as he revealed: When you start a film like this, you have a group of names you'd like to work with, and the studio have a group of names they would trust. Then there's Steven [Spielberg] as well in the middle of that. There was this one little overlap where they all intersected, and everyone agreed on Mathieson. Luckily, everyone agreed on bringing in Mathieson to serve as the director of photography for Jurassic World: Rebirth. Though it's unlikely there will be any flashbacks to the new mutated Distortus Rex (which was inspired by Alien) fighting off waves of Crusaders, it will be interesting to see how the two-time Academy Award nominee and prolific music video cinematographer handles the latest dinosaur movie. With the release of Jurassic World: Rebirth right around the corner in theaters on July 2, 2025, it will be interesting to see what other tidbits of information about the movie and its influences Gareth Edwards and others share with us all. If anything, I'm curious to see what those claims that the movie will honor the series' canon mean for the big blockbuster. In the meantime, all six previous Jurassic Park/World movies are streaming with a Peacock subscription. And while Kingdom of Heaven isn't currently streaming anywhere, it's worth seeking it out for the epic's 20th anniversary.

Why Julie Kavner May Not Be Leaving The Simpsons
The latest episode has led fans to wonder whether Julie Kavner, who voices Marge, might be leaving The Simpsons. The final episode, titled Estranger Things, is set in the future, where Bart and Lisa have grown estranged. Their mother, Marge, is no longer alive in this timeline, but she watches over them from heaven, worried. This has sparked concern among fans about whether Marge is dead in the present and if Kavner has left the beloved show. Here are the details. Marge is shown to be dead in a future setting, not in the present. This means she is still alive in the show's current timeline and is not leaving. Julie Kavner is expected to return for Season 37. The finale takes place 35 years in the future, where Bart and Lisa are adults. The estranged siblings work together to bring their father back, much to the delight of Marge, who is watching from the afterlife. She is shown resting in heaven with her high school crush, Ringo Starr. In an interview with PEOPLE, showrunner and executive producer Matt Selman addressed the episode, noting it explores what the show's ending might look like—if it ever ends. He said, 'I don't think about it, so I'm just going to not think about that. But certainly, it's just if the show ever does a last episode.' This suggests that Marge is not dead in the present timeline and will appear in the next season.
