Starbucks says new Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso already a favorite
A newcomer on the specialty coffee chain's summer menu, the Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, is selling at a better pace than any Iced Shaken Espresso drink since Starbucks began offering them in 2022.
So far, the Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso has outperformed all previous new seasonal Iced Shaken Espresso beverage launches by 44%, the company says.
The drink is made with a horchata flavored syrup that marries "cinnamon, sweet vanilla and subtle nutty notes reminiscent of the rice milk that makes up a traditional horchata," Starbucks said in a news release.

Starbucks says it's gotten more than 11.9 million views on TikTok on content related to its Iced Horchata Shaken Espresso in the last ten days (May 20-May 30).
Horchata has become a trending flavor in recent years in the U.S. While the Mexican version of the plant-based beverage is what has become popular here, the drink became popular in ancient Spain, where nuts were used in the concoction. But it originated in North Africa, as far back as 2400 B.C.
Starbucks is not alone in chasing horchata's hotness. Oreo teamed with singer and actress Selena Gomez on horchata flavored Limited Edition Selena Gomez Oreo Cookies, which hit stores June 9, but became available for presale in the U.S. starting June 2 at www.Oreo.com/UnwrapTheCollab.
If horchata has become habit-forming, Starbucks has a new beverage recommendation, courtesy of its "not-so-secret menu" broadcast channel on Instagram.
It's a twist on an Iced Chai Latte: Order an Iced Grande Chai Latte and ask for three pumps of chai, one pump of horchata, plus cinnamon powder and strawberry Cream Cold Foam.
"The Iced Shaken Espresso combines the horchata flavor with our beautiful Blonde Espresso, and the Horchata flavor is also delicious in a matcha latte or Frappuccino," said Starbucks brand manager Ricky Gonzalez, who helped bring the new beverage to Starbucks, in a statement to USA TODAY. "There's a lot of ways to enjoy this new flavor.'

Also on Starbucks' summer menu is the new Strawberry & Cream Cake Pop, which has gotten the most attention on TikTok of any of the chain's cake pops so far, netting more than 6.1 million content views.
'Summer and Starbucks go hand-in-hand," said Tressie Leiberman, Starbucks' global chief brand officer, in a statement to USA TODAY. "Our fans are crazy for the new Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, so we are seeing success continuing to build for the platform with much more innovation possible. And the Strawberries & Cream Cake Pop tastes as good as it looks.'

'Ne Zha 2' is one of the biggest movies of all time. Here's what you need to know.
If you're American, it's likely that you haven't yet heard of "Ne Zha II." Michelle Yeoh is ready to change that. The Hollywood icon, who won the best actress Oscar for 2022's "Everything Everywhere All at Once," has lent her voice to an English-language dub of the Chinese animated phenomenon. Based on a centuries-old Chinese legend, the movie is a follow-up to 2019's "Ne Zha," which made more than $700 million worldwide. The sequel similarly follows a rebellious boy named Ne Zha who is born with demonic powers and feared by the gods. But when an ancient force threatens to destroy humanity, he must choose to use his abilities for good or evil. Yeoh, 63, was first introduced to the story when she was 6 or 7 growing up in Malaysia. "I used to love mythology and Ne Zha was very popular," she recalls. "For me, it was exciting, because he was a demigod who could just zip across the skies with his fiery wheels. And he was sassy. Is 'Ne Zha 2' in English? Although the original 'Ne Zha II' was in Mandarin, the version that is being released in America will be in English. Yeoh ('Crazy Rich Asians') leads the English-language cast as Ne Zha's fiercely loving mother, Lady Yin, while Vincent Rodriguez III ('Crazy Ex-Girlfriend') plays his dad, Li Jing. Meanwhile, Crystal Lee ('Marvel Rivals') voices the role of the unstoppable Ne Zha. How much has 'Ne Zha 2' made at the box office? According to the film's U.S. distributor A24, 'Ne Zha II' has so far netted $2.2 billion globally. That makes it the most successful animated movie and the highest-grossing non-English language film of all time, as well as the fifth highest-grossing movie in history worldwide. Kate Gosselin is revealing why she returned to her nursing career after leaving reality TV behind. The former "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star posted a TikTok video on Monday, Aug. 11, about her 12-hour day as a home health care nurse and took to the comments to respond to a fan who asked about her career change. This New App Lets You Take Private Audio Tours From Top Guides in Iconic European Destinations—and It's Free
A new app is giving travelers a private experience, allowing them to immerse themselves in new cities without breaking the bank. The app, called Le Walk, is a location-based experience using artificial intelligence to create riveting storytelling, all curated by local guides. The app, developed by a couple of former TikTok employees, is free to download on iOS and aimed at helping guides to scale their services. 'Le Walk is all about elevating travel," Aaron Sekhri, a co-founder of Le Walk, said in a statement shared with Travel + Leisure. "Our goal is to make the world's best guides accessible to every single traveler, regardless of cost, timing or language." The goal was to get travelers "looking up," instead of aimlessly scrolling on their phones, an ambition brought on by the founders' time at the social media company. Overall, tours are available in a variety of subjects from art tours to architecture, history, culinary-focused jaunts (think: viral TikTok butter), and more. The app is currently available to use for tours in Paris, Rome, and Florence, according to the company, with plans to expand to more than two dozen more cities by summer 2026. Tours are offered in 22 different languages. Tours typically last just under an hour and customers seem to be happy: Le Walk said 63 percent of travelers who have tried it participate in multiple tours. So far, the company said it has seen more than 75,000 downloads. Of course—as the saying goes—Paris is never a bad idea, and a trip to the city isn't complete without indulging in good French cheese, hunting for vintage goods at an antique market, and people-watching at one of the outdoor cafes. And the same goes for Le Walk's other Italian cities where you can sample gelato, wrap yourself in history, and eat your weight in pasta.
