The pop sensation, who is dating Chiefs star Travis Kelce, appeared as a guest on this week's episode of his podcast, New Heights, where she revealed that her 12th studio album will be called 'The Life of a Showgirl.'
Hannah Ferguson, who has been described as a 'next-generation feminist' and runs the news commentary platform Cheek Media, had some thoughts on the pop star's announcement, which she shared with her 193,000 Instagram followers on Tuesday.
'YES I will be the first listener but imagine being one of the most successful women in the world and announcing your next huge career milestone on your boyfriend's sport podcast,' Ferguson wrote across an Instagram clip that showed her looking bemused.
Ferguson's comments section was quickly filled with followers who were confused by her stance.
'Why yuck someone's yum? This is an exhausting take,' one person commented, while another said, 'This is a strange take.'

Swift also had a countdown to the announcement on her website, which briefly crashed after the clock reached zero.
Travis and his brother Jason co-host the popular show and supporters have long been calling for the Chiefs star's girlfriend to be brought on.
Swift's appearance was first teased on Monday morning with a mystery silhouette that fans believed to be the pop star, before a 13-second clip confirming her presence.

Stoner did not reveal their alleged attacker's name in their memoir before detailing how he allegedly treated them like 'an inanimate object.' 'He opened the door to a room on the first floor of an apartment building,' they wrote before remembering the thought that crossed their mind at the time. 'Is this his lab or his residence? It was common for entrepreneurs and creatives to have live-work spaces, but this looked nothing like the setup from the photos he showed me.' Stoner claimed that the man's place had 'no chairs to sit on' and they ended up sitting on the floor. They recalled feeling 'uncomfortable' that they noticed the man's 'eyes focused on my crotch.' 'His eyes burned a hole in my body as he calculated his next move. Suddenly, his hand reached to grab my crotch, and I swatted him away.' Stoner remembered how they were crying when the man, who was bigger than them, allegedly overpowered and trapped them in a small corner of his room. 'Still on the floor, he wrestled me toward the back corner of the room as I fought back tears.
