Creative offering deals on Creative Stage V2 and the Creative Stage soundbars while stocks last
Creative Stage V2
Two of the highest-rated, budget soundbars on Amazon are now on sale at a new low price - but the offers run out once they're gone.
Creative has announced major price drops on its popular Creative Stage V2 and the Creative Stage soundbars while stocks last.
Both offer 2.1 surround sound, with the V2 designed for the living room and the compact Stage a good choice for the home office or bedroom.
The Creative Stage V2 is now available for £76.50 after applying a 15% discount voucher on Amazon (previously £99.99).
A sleek, powerful soundbar and subwoofer combo that brings cinema-quality sound to the living room, it's powered by Sound Blaster's Clear Dialog and Surround audio technologies.
The 2.1 setup includes dual custom-tuned mid-range drivers and a long-throw subwoofer for room-filling bass. It features multiple connectivity options including TV ARC, optical, AUX, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB audio, plus remote-controlled bass and treble adjustments.
What users say
"I am really impressed by the clear sound that this more moderately priced soundbar produces. The soundbar has simple sound modification options such as virtual surround sound and a setting for enhancing voice clarity with easy to use buttons on the remote."
"For me, it was a good price, easy to install and a pleasure to use. The only minor criticism I have is that it remains in standby mode which these days is a no-no."
Creative Stage
Creative Stage is now available at £66.49, down from £79.99 on Amazon
Designed to fit discreetly under monitors or TVs, this under-monitor soundbar delivers 160W peak power through dual mid-range drivers and a dedicated long-throw subwoofer.
The result is crisp dialogue, detailed mids, and powerful bass. Equipped with extensive connectivity (Bluetooth, AUX-in, Optical, TV ARC, and USB MP3 playback), the Creative Stage also features a remote for EQ presets and tone adjustments. Its compact, minimalist design and included wall-mount kit make it a clutter-free upgrade.
What users say

"This is a good system for computer use or for smaller TVs/small room, however I think it would struggle connected to a big TV in a larger room to give a good sound field."
"This would be worth every penny if it was £500 pounds, but it isn't, it is £80. I am thinking of buying another one as a spare, before someone wakes up and prices this properly!"

Just in time for Halloween? Ibiza Final Boss costume is for sale online

The Ibiza Final Boss is set to be the next Halloween costume trend as outfits of the viral sensation have already started to appear online. Jack Kay, 26, became an internet celebrity after he was filmed 'cutting shapes' on the party island with a gold chain, sunglasses and a baby pink cup in his hand. When he first appeared on phone screens around the country last week, many were shocked to discover his locks were not in fact a hat. The hairstyle, coupled with his shades, gold chain, man bag and huge build, became an instantly-shareable hit. Now fancy dress shops have already started to stock costumes to allow people to share Kay's iconic look. The costumes include a stick on wig and goatee alongside accessories including the gold chain, sunglasses . They have already appeared on Ebay and Amazon. The product description for the costume on Amazon reads: 'Transform into the ultimate party legend with our Adults Ibiza Final Boss Costume Accessory Set – perfect for festivals, fancy dress events, and unforgettable nights out. 'This hilarious and bold kit includes a sleek black bob wig, stick-on goatee, chunky gold chain, and a pair of cool black shades to give you that over-the-top VIP look. 'Whether you're hitting the dance floor, hosting a themed party, or standing out at a stag do, this costume set is guaranteed to get laughs, photos, and attention. 'Comfortable to wear and easy to assemble, it's ideal for quick and impactful transformations without the fuss of a full costume. 'Pair it with your favourite outfit to complete the larger-than-life character, or go all-in for a head-turning Ibiza boss vibe. 'Designed for adults, this fun and versatile set works for club nights, summer festivals, birthday parties, or any event where you want to be the centre of attention. 'Step up, own the room, and let the final boss energy flow.' The costume is up for sale for £14.99 on Amazon. The raver has already held talks with ITV2 bosses about featuring in the next series of Big Brother, according to The Sun. Like other overnight viral stars such as 'Hawk Tuah girl' Hailey Welch and 'Salt Bae' Nusret Gokce, Kay is likely to enjoy a boom in freebies, appearances and sponsorship opportunities. Brand and culture expert Nick Ede told the Daily Mail that the 'Final Boss' of Spanish party islands stands to earn six figures in the next 12 months alone – between nightclub appearances both at home and abroad and potential brand deals. And he added that Kay's masterstroke move of signing with top talent agent Dave Read would steer him well. Read and his talent agency Neon Management are credited with making reality star Joey Essex a millionaire. Mr Ede said: 'It's amazing how he has captured the zeitgeist – he's the most popular thing since the Jet2 holiday adverts, and he can maximise on this for quite a while. 'He's a living caricature. People don't really look like that but he is exactly what you think people who go to Ibiza should look like and be like. It's actually crazy.' Kay, who shared a photo of his 'fresh trim' last week on Instagram, is likely to enjoy the attention of brands, nightclubs and celebrities all keen to be associated with him for some time to come, Mr Ede said. He continued: 'He's off doing nightclub appearances in Ibiza and I can see him doing others around Europe, being sent around by cheap holiday companies to promote their resorts. 'Then, 100 per cent, he'll do nightclub appearances in the UK and that's really lucrative. You can do four or five of them a night. 'That's going to be regular and they pay five to ten grand per appearance. Do four of them a night on a Friday and a Saturday and you can make a lot money. 'That's how people on TOWIE made their money. It wasn't through the show: it was through their nightclub appearances.' It was revealed this week that Kay held a party at a €9million villa in Ibiza at the weekend - with one of the dwarves who was at Lamine Yamal 's controversial 18th birthday party in attendance. Kay threw a party at the villa with a dwarf who had been dressed up to look like a 'mini' version of him, including a bowl cut wig. 'The final boss and the mini boss out tonight, see you soon,' Jack wrote below a video of the pair dancing at the property. The entertainer, Juan Alberto Duaso, was one of five dwarves hired for Barcelona star Yamal's birthday party last month. Their presence at the football star's bash sparked a huge backlash after it was denounced by a disabled rights group, who began legal proceedings against Yamal's team. In response, the Spanish government toughened laws for hiring people with disabilities, including dwarfism, which make it illegal to 'humiliate' or 'mock' them for entertainment - with fines now reaching as high as €600,000. A night earlier, on Saturday, Jack, 26, invited 100 of his fans to the villa for a 'huge party', which featured sets from popular DJs Deniz Menendez and Rsquared. In one picture from the bash, a vape-clutching Jack is seen posing for a picture next to a blonde beauty in a fitted leopard print top, while a group of young women flank his right side. Other clips shared by his friends show the internet sensation dancing while sporting his trademark black glasses, bowl haircut and fitted vest. The videos showed how one of the rooms in the villa has been repurposed into a mini nightclub, complete with strobe lighting, a DJ booth and a bar. It was also reported last week that Kay is fighting to save his relationship to his model girlfriend - after she unceremoniously dumped him as he partied on the White Isle. Alisha, 23, a debt collector, from Co Durham, is said to have been so angry with Mr Kay raving in Ibiza she dumped him before footage spread online and propelled him to viral stardom as the 'Ibiza final boss '. They have since reconciled, but a source close to Mr Kay said he was 'skating on thin ice' over his partying ways. A friend of Mr Kay's told the Daily Mail: 'Alisha called it off when Jack went to Ibiza with the lads. Alisha, 23, a debt collector, from Co Durham, is said to have been so angry with Mr Kay raving in Ibiza she dumped him before footage spread online and propelled him to viral stardom as the 'Ibiza final boss' 'They'd been together for almost a year and he was living at her place but things hadn't been right for months. 'His car is still on her drive, she threw all his clothes in the back of it. She doesn't want him around anymore. 'She's had inklings that something was not right for a while. She just wants to wash her hands of him. 'Alisha is so beautiful. No one is quite sure what she saw in him.' The friend added: 'It's hard to believe that he's been branded the super king of Ibiza - the final boss - when she's been left on her own back here.' When Mr Kay sprung to viral fame after being filmed dancing on the party island, donning a gold chain and baby pink cup, Alisha revealed herself publicly as his girlfriend. She shared a series of TikTok videos captioned 'POV (point of view) ya boyfriends now known as Ibiza final boss'. In the clips, blonde-haired Alisha was seen cuddled up to Mr Kay, with him kissing her on the cheek. However, the friend claimed that Alisha had only posted the video 'to boost her TikTok' and that she had already handed out her marching orders. She has subsequently deleted her presence on social media after Mr Kay's sudden fame. A holiday firm has also sought to capitalise on the craze with a hilarious advert centred on the trim. Big business is piling in on the trend - with On The Beach unveiling two adverts featuring the haircut disguised as an umbrella pole on an idyllic beach, in the hopes of enticing ravers to attend Ibiza's closing parties in September and October. The ads include the hilarious lines such as: 'Hastings to Ibiza from £295pp, Haircut not included' and 'Face the Final Boss, Ibiza from £295pp'. Spokeswoman Zoe Harris said: 'If Jack's "Ibiza final boss" barnet can turn heads faster than a DJ drops the bass, then it will certainly get people's attention on advertising boards. 'The famous mop is now being used to sell our incredible deals to the closing parties in September and October. That's trimmed down prices for holidays that are a cut above the rest.' She added: 'Ibiza is such a popular spot for Brits and we have no doubt that this viral moment will lead to more people booking to go out to throw some shapes on the many dancefloors across the island.' On the day the Ibiza Final Boss went viral on social media, bookings to the island rose by 48 per cent day on day - and On the Beach told of expecting a further increase as attentions turn towards closing parties. Kay's own social media following has exploded, with his TikTok account - labelled 'IBIZA FINAL BOSS' - picking up almost 20,000 followers, while a newly created Instagram has 27,000. Comments on his social media are laden with praise and offers to keep him coming back to Ibiza again and again. Travel firms have offered him holidays, while Gary Lineker's clubbing-obsessed brother Wayne - who owns club O Beach - has asked him to get in touch.

Cisco projects upbeat quarterly revenue as AI fuels networking equipment demand

Aug 13 (Reuters) - Cisco Systems (CSCO.O), opens new tab forecast first-quarter revenue above Wall Street estimates on Wednesday, as the artificial intelligence boom boosted demand for its networking equipment from cloud customers. Hyperscale cloud investments are healthy and driving IT infrastructure financing, which sets up a good backdrop for Cisco. "Within the enterprise spending environment, there is incremental spending to beef up the infrastructure to accommodate AI, so that could potentially be another growth driver, especially with Cisco having such a big presence in the traditional enterprise market," Edward Jones analyst David Heger said. Big tech firms such as Microsoft (MSFT.O), opens new tab, Amazon (AMZN.O), opens new tab and Alphabet (GOOGL.O), opens new tab are ramping up spending to ease capacity shortages that have limited their ability to meet AI demand, even after several quarters of multi-billion-dollar outlays. Cisco's AI infrastructure orders exceeded $800 million in the fourth quarter, bringing the total for fiscal 2025 to over $2 billion, more than double its original target, CEO Chuck Robbins said on a post-earnings call. The company has not seen any pull-forward in demand for products, but did note a small impact from tariffs in the quarter and during the fiscal year, he added. "We expect the sovereign AI opportunity to build momentum in the second half of fiscal 2026. Cisco will be a core system provider for these significant AI training and inference cluster build outs and integral to their development and eventual hyperscaling." Cisco has partnered with Humain, Saudi Arabia's state-backed AI company, and it will provide digital solutions for Bahrain's government information and telecommunications infrastructure. The company expects revenue to be between $14.65 billion and $14.85 billion for the first quarter, compared with analysts' average estimate of $14.62 billion, according to data compiled by LSEG. Networking product orders grew in the double digits during the quarter, driven by webscale infrastructure, switching, enterprise routing, industrial IoT and servers.

On top of that, the plastic cover at the base broke just a few days after purchase.' Another reviewer warned about its limitations: 'This is good if you're making a full smoothie or something similar. It's terrible for making pesto. Don't expect much from this blender. I'm buying another more powerful one.'
