Suniel Shetty on Independence Day: No pride like being Indian
On the occasion of 79th Independence Day on Friday, actor Suniel Shetty saluted the bravehearts who keep the country safe and said that there's "no pride like being an Indian."
Suniel took to Instagram, where he shared a reel video, which begins with him waving the Indian flag, saluting the soldiers and also posing with the jawans.
Heaping praise on India's Armed Forces, he wrote: "No force like our Armed Forces."
The actor added: "No pride like being Indian. Saluting the bravehearts who safeguard our nation and ensure that India breathes free. Sabhi deshwasiyo ko swatantra diwas ki hardik shubhkamnaye."
Talking about the actor, his latest release is "Hunter" Season 2, which also stars
Jackie Shroff and Anusha Dandekar, which is now streaming for free on Amazon MX Player.

They chance upon a ransom call through a cross-connection and hatch a plan to claim the ransom for themselves.

Hema Malini recalls doing her own stunts in 'Sholay,' reveals initial disappointment with Basanti's role, and plans to show the classic to her grandchildren
As Ramesh Sippy 's 'Sholay' completed 50 years on Friday, Hema Malini looked back on her experience of playing Basanti, one of Hindi cinema's most iconic characters. Speaking to IANS, the actress revealed that during her prime years, filmmakers often wrote action sequences especially for her. 'If Hema Malini is there in the film, we must make her fight; that was the sentiment,' she laughed. In Sholay, too, she was given memorable stunt sequences, particularly the now-legendary tanga chase where Basanti bravely drives the horse cart while dacoits pursue her. 'Every scene in the film is a moving shot; nothing is static. That's why the film still feels alive after all these years,' she reflected. That's exactly what Indian content creator Piyusha Patil showed when she shared her experience of spending Lunar New Year with her South Korean boyfriend's family. The main dish of the day was Mandu Tteokguk, which is dumpling rice cake soup, a staple of the celebration. Piyusha rolled up her sleeves and joined the family in preparing Mandus. Knowing she might miss the taste of home, he prepared a dahi dish for her, and also got curry mix and naan just for her. The final spread was a feast: fish, meat, prawns, veggies, and of course, the Mandu Tteokguk. "It was so delicious, I ended up with a food coma," Piyusha joked.
