Inter Milan have landed in the USA ahead of their FIFA Club World Cup group stage opener against Monterrey.
Today's print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, highlight the beginning of the Nerazzurri's preparations for the tournament.

In just five days, Inter's Club World Cup campaign will begin.
The Nerazzurri will take on Mexican side Monterrey in Los Angeles. The match will take place at 9:00 PM local time on Tuesday – which will in fact be 3.00 CET in the middle of the night in Europe.
Inter Milan have landed in Los Angeles ahead of the match. And now, their preparations begin.

Inter Milan only officially confirmed the arrival of Cristian Chivu as their new coach a few days ago.
The Romanian has led a couple training sessions in Milan. And he headed up the Inter delegation that has travelled to the United States.

Meanwhile, the Italian internationals in the squad are already present in the Inter camp.
However, after a busy international break, there will be a chance for the Azzurri stars to rest for a couple days.
In general, the Gazzetta note, Inter's squad will take a few days to rest and adjust to the new time zone.
And then, tomorrow, the likes of Lautaro Martinez, Benjamin Pavard, Marcus Thuram, and Denzel Dumfries will join the rest of the team.

The Seattle Sounders will face Brazil's Botafogo in a high-stakes match at Lumen Field on Sunday, marking one of the biggest games in the tournament. Seattle, considered the underdog, will host the match as the city prepares for a broader role in the global soccer spotlight ahead of next year's FIFA World Cup. But for some fans, the excitement is being overshadowed by rumors and social media posts suggesting increased immigration enforcement presence at matches — not just in Seattle, but across the country. Earlier this week, CBP shared a now-deleted post on its official channels stating, "Let the games begin – the first FIFA Club World Cup games starts on June 14 in Miami. CBP will be suited and booted ready to provide security for the first round of games." The post has since been taken down but is still being circulated by outlets such as FOX Sports 940 AM in Miami. According to FOX's affiliate in Florida, FIFA President Gianni Infantino confirmed CBP agents would be working alongside Miami-Dade Sheriff's deputies to provide security for the matches in Florida. Concerns grew further after reports that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents advised non-citizens to bring proof of legal status to the matches. While that advisory appears specific to Miami, the uncertainty has reached fans in Seattle as well. I want to be very clear about that," Ferguson said.
