Rare coin collector shares six valuable designs that could be worth up to £200k
If you're a coin collector, or just have a big jar of change sitting around, pay attention... TikTok user @CoinCollectingWizard, who has over 258,000 followers, shared some expertise that's got collectors in a frenzy. In a previous video, the coin enthusiast asked: "Do you remember any of these old British coins? Some are rare and valuable."
He then disclosed a catalogue of six coins worth hunting for. Leading the pack is the 1924 Florin or two shillings, which can fetch up to £65 in good condition or a staggering £145 if uncirculated. The video resurfaced as Brits told look for two 'rarest' 50p coins in circulation worth £230.
He went on, revealing the 1949 Brass 3p's scarcity due to its limited minting of just 464,000, mentioning one recently sold for nearly £500 in fine condition.
The 1925 Florin also earned a spot, priced at roughly £40 in good condition, with the price rocketing beyond £500 when uncirculated, owing to its limited mintage of just over a million.
The content creator wasn't finished there as the fourth coin highlighted was the elusive 1869 penny, which could be worth a staggering £5,000 if discovered in decent condition - a detail not commonly recognised amongst the general public.
And we mustn't overlook the 1905 half crown, described as one of the "rarest half coins to ever be minted" with merely 160,000 in circulation.
"This can fetch anywhere between £450 and £10,000" he explained. "And finally, let's slip this 1933 penny in there because if you are lucky enough to find this coin, then you are guaranteed at least £200,000."

Julia claimed that when she questioned the foodie about his claims, his responses 'knocked her sideways.' As a result, eager to share her insider friend's insight with others, Julia took to social media and acknowledged the dishes she will now be avoiding, leaving many open-mouthed. And according to the restaurant owner, these dishes should be avoided at 'any restaurant" - whether that's a chain or a posh place. Say goodbye to 'specials' First things first, according to this insider, 'specials that aren't tied to a clear seasonal ingredient' should be steered clear of. While the insider claimed that such dishes 'sound harmless', it turns out that this often means using ingredients that need to be used before they go out of date. Julia's insider friend explained: 'The sauce masks the age, the garnish distracts you - and by the time you've finished, you've basically paid top dollar for yesterday's leftovers.' Feeling fishy Secondly, if you don't want to spend hours on the loo after going out for a meal, you may want to avoid 'shellfish in places nowhere near the coast.' According to this insider, unless restaurants have daily deliveries and spotless storage, you're 'gambling with your gut' by ordering shellfish. For those looking to avoid a night hugging the loo, Julia's friend stressed: 'Most punters don't realise but the wrong handling turns a fancy seafood platter into a food poisoning time bomb.' Vietnamese restaurant in London shut down after 'DOG MEAT disguised as goat found in freezer by health inspectors' Not ice, ice, baby Not only can shellfish cause an upset stomach, but having ice in drinks can also cause issues - yes, you heard that correctly. Julia's restaurant owner bestie suddenly made summer cocktails feel much less Instagrammable, as he shared a warning over having ice in beverages. You won't see it, but you'll feel it 12 hours later Insider He stressed: 'If the ice machine isn't cleaned properly - and in busy spots, it often isn't - you're basically sipping on a chilled petri dish.' Load off the meat Last but not least, the restaurant owner revealed the 'shocker' that you will want to avoid when dining at buffets or all-you-can-eats. According to this source, chicken dishes in such locations are 'the perfect breeding ground for bacteria if temps aren't bang-on.' Mark Petchey reveals truth behind Emma Raducanu & Carlos Alcaraz romance rumours
Mark Petchey has shot down rumours of tennis superstars Emma Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz being in a secret romantic relationship. Some media outlets have speculated that Raducanu and Alcaraz have been dating behind the scenes – but Petchey insists this is not the case. Alcaraz and Raducanu are playing together in the US Open mixed doubles this year, which has further fuelled talk that the the two players might secretly be boyfriend and girlfriend off the court. The rumours have been around for a while – with Alcaraz quizzed aboutthe 'jokes on social media' in a Wimbledon press conference last year. In June this year, Raducanu laughed off the speculation, with the British No.1 insisting that she was 'just friends' with the Spanish star. Raducanu's former coach Petchey has now weighed in on the rumours about the two 22-year-olds in an interview with OLBG. 'They are just good friends,' Petchey said about Alcaraz and Raducanu. 'She's good friends with a lot of people out there on the tour. 'The media is going to be the media. Obviously, I know there's suggestions that they are going out. 'That's not the case. They're just good friends. The reality is they're only there [at the US Open] to play tennis.' The US Open's revamped mixed doubles tournament got underway today (Tuesday, August 19), featuring a blockbuster lineup of star-studded teams. The two-day knockout competition has been controversial and has led to criticism from some players and pundits. Defending US Open mixed doubles champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori blasted the changes as a 'profound injustice' and a 'pseudo-exhibition' that disrespects doubles specialists. Tennis icon Martina Navratilova added that it 'makes a mockery of the title' by excluding doubles experts. More Trending Petchey, though, has defended the US Open mixed doubles and said: 'It's exciting for us as fans and I think it's actually very exciting for the players that are involved in it as well. 'Emma and Carlos are excited to play and all the players that I spoke to at Montreal and Cincinnati are all excited to play. They're all thrilled with the opportunity. 'I'm a big fan of the event, I'm a big fan of what they've tried to create, and there may be a bit of tweaking here and there as we go forward. 'The thing about tennis is if you don't try it, you'll never know, and you can go back if it doesn't work. But I think it's going to be a massive success.'
