Rute Cardoso, the widow of late Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota took to social media to share a post commemorating the completion of one month of the couple's wedding before the Portuguese star was snatched away by the cruel hands of fate in a car crash in Spain.
Jota met his untimely end on July 3, 2025, after a tragic car accident in Zamora, Spain, at just 28 years of age, alongside his brother Andre Silva.

'1 month of our 'not even death will part us," Cardosa's post read.
'Forever, Your little white on," she added.
Jota married his partner, Cardoso, on June 22, just weeks before his passing. The couple had three children together.
Jota began his youth career at Gondomar in 2005 before moving to Paços de Ferreira, where he made his senior debut in 2014. In 2016, he transferred to Atletico Madrid but was immediately loaned to Porto for a season and then to Wolves in 2017. His impressive performances for Wolves led to a permanent move to Molineux.
Jota's remarkable achievements at Wolves, including helping the team win the EFL Championship title, earned him a transfer to Premier League giants Liverpool in 2020.
With Liverpool, Jota won the Premier League, the FA Cup in the 2021-22 season, and the EFL League Cup. He was also part of the Portuguese team that won the UEFA Nations League in both the 2018/19 and 2024/25 seasons.
Premier League champions Liverpool announced that they would retire the jersey No. 20 in honour of the late Portuguese forward.
Born Diogo Jose Teixeira da Silva, he adopted the surname 'Jota' to distinguish himself from teammates with similar names in the youth academy. An avid gamer, Jota formed his own eSports team, Diogo Jota eSports, later renamed Luna Galaxy, and topped the FIFA 21 Championship table in February of that year.
A versatile player capable of playing various roles along the front line, Jota clinched the Premier League title with Liverpool a month ago and followed it up with his second UEFA Nations League title.

KL Rahul prepared non-stop for England Test series after IPL: Nayar
KL Rahul has spent every minute after his last IPL match preparing for the England tour and rightly deserves all the recognition coming his way for doing the "dirty job at all numbers" for India, said the team's former assistant coach Abhishek Nayar on Sunday. Rahul finished as India's second highest run-scorer in the five-Test series with two tons and two fifties giving him 532 runs at 53.20 while forging a robust opening partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal. Nayar, who has worked closely with Rahul during his time as India's assistant coach till recently, said while he cannot reveal the changes the latter has made, he is pleased to see the desired results. "I can't talk about the changes that I've seen in KL Rahul.
