Salman Khan Bigg Boss Fees: Actor To Earn THIS Whopping Amount Per Episode For Season 19
Salman Khan Bigg Boss salary has been revealed. The Battle of Galwan star will earn a huge amount per episode as he takes on hosting duties for season 19.
This year's Bigg Boss 19 is gearing up to change the game—premiering on Jio Hotstar from 30 August, then airing on TV after 90 minutes. And reports suggest Salman Khan is set to make between Rs 120-150 crore for hosting a 15‑week run, earning roughly Rs 8-10 crore per weekend, as per a report in SCREEN.` The season is set to run for five months. Salman will host the first three months, after which big names like Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor are expected to take over. The show's promo was filmed on 21 July, from 2 pm till midnight, with a political theme in mind.
An industry insider notes the show is being treated as an extension of its OTT format. Unlike earlier seasons filmed on a massive scale, this year's production reportedly operates on a leaner budget. Salman previously hosted Bigg Boss OTT 2 for Rs 96 crore. His fees for seasons 18 and 17 were Rs 250 crore and Rs 200 crore, respectively — but those were traditional TV seasons. With multiple guest hosts lined up this time, Salman's pay is higher than his last OTT stint.

Though the final contestant list is still under wraps, rumours suggest up to 20 names in the mix—from Gautami Kapoor and Gaurav Taneja to Mr Faisu and Dhanashree Verma, among others. The Fantastic Four: First Steps, directed by Matt Shakman and starring Vanessa Kirby, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Julia Garner, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and others, opened to a mediocre Rs 5.25 crore net at the India box office. The pre-release expectations were for the movie to net Rs 8-9 crore on day 1, but screen sharing issues due to strong holdover competition and new releases, along with the superhero fatigue played a spoil sport. The Fantastic Four: First Steps Grows By 40 Percent On Saturday; Nets Rs 7.35 Crore On Day 2 In India On day 2, the superhero flick grew by just 40 percent to net Rs 7.35 crore, and that's not a good sign for its legs. The weekend net collections of the movie will be in the vicinity of Rs 20 crore, and Rs 40 crore lifetime is the best it can manage, given that the screen sharing issues will persist even in week 3, with big Bollywood releases like Dhadak 2 and Son Of Sardaar 2. Marvel doesn't necessarily have to introspect as two out of their three releases have won universal acclaim. It's just that there's a sort of an inertia and it will take a standalone Spiderman film like Spiderman: Brand New Day or Avengers: Doomsday to change everything. The Fantastic Four: First Steps' global weekend will be around USD 230 million, setting it up well for a lifetime total of over USD 600 million, and perhaps even USD 700 million. Saiyaara Box Office Day 9: Ahaan Panday's debut enters Rs 200 crore club, surpasses Housefull 5
Something quite rare is happening at the box office, Ahaan Panday's debut film Saiyaara has not just survived the second weekend slump, it's grown stronger. The Mohit Suri-directed romantic musical, co-starring Aneet Padda, has emerged as a surprise blockbuster of the year. On its second Saturday (Day 9), the film collected an estimated Rs 25.5–26.5 crore, showing a strong 40% jump from its already solid second Friday earnings of Rs 18.5 crore. That takes its total to a whopping Rs 219.25–220.25 crore, according to early estimates. What makes this more impressive? Saiyaara is now only the second Bollywood film in 2025 to cross the ₹200 crore milestone, after Chhaava. Other highly anticipated releases like Sitaare Zameen Par, Raid 2, Housefull 5, and Sikandar couldn't breach the mark. How does it compare with other 2025 hits? Here's a snapshot of the top Bollywood grossers of 2025 (so far): Chhaava – Rs 615.39 crore Saiyaara – Rs 219.25–220.25 crore (est.) Housefull 5 – Rs 198.41 crore Raid 2 – Rs 179.30 crore Sitaare Zameen Par – Rs 165.39 crore Box Office breakdown: Day by day Day 1 – Rs 22 crore Day 2 – Rs 26.25 crore Day 3 – Rs 36.25 crore Day 4 – Rs 24.25 crore Day 5 – Rs 25 crore Day 6 – Rs 22 crore Day 7 – Rs 19.50 crore Day 8 – Rs 18.50 crore Day 9 – Rs 25.5–26.5 crore (est.) What's driving the buzz around Saiyaara? A debut hero, a soulful soundtrack, and Mohit Suri's romantic storytelling seem to be the winning combo. The film's strong word-of-mouth, coupled with a young fanbase and repeat audience, is fueling its momentum. If the pace continues, Saiyaara might just give even bigger films a run for their money. All eyes are now on its 10-day total and whether it can inch closer to the Rs 250 crore milestone in Week 2.

Salman Khan was once set to play Lord Ram for this movie, Sonali Bendre was given role of Sita, but the movie never released due to...
While fans are eagerly waiting for Ranbir Kapoor's big-screen transformation into Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming Ramayan, few know that Bollywood's original 'Bhaijaan' was once meant to step into those very divine shoes. Back in the 1990s, Sohail Khan had envisioned a grand cinematic take on the Ramayan, casting his superstar brother Salman Khan as Ram and Sonali Bendre as Sita. The film had even started shooting, and about 40% of it was already completed. What went wrong with this ambitious project? As per a report by Mid-Day, things were running smoothly until personal dynamics started interfering with professional plans. Actress and producer Pooja Bhatt joined the project midway. That's when the buzz began, rumours of a relationship between Sohail Khan and Pooja Bhatt started making the rounds. This didn't sit well with Salim Khan, the head of the Khan family. According to reports, he disapproved of their growing closeness and advised Sohail to end the relationship. Did Pooja Bhatt walk out? Despite Salman Khan trying to manage the situation calmly, Pooja Bhatt eventually exited the film due to what seemed like emotional fallout and discomfort with the family's stance. Her exit marked the beginning of the end. Without her, the film lost momentum and was quietly shelved—never to be completed. The forgotten Ramayan before Ranbir Kapoor's Interestingly, this untitled film was being planned decades before today's multi-part Ramayan, backed by Nitesh Tiwari. The upcoming version is scheduled to be released in two parts, Part 1 during Diwali 2025 and Part 2 during Diwali 2026, with Sai Pallavi as Sita. But had things gone as planned in the 90s, Salman Khan might've already been immortalised as Lord Ram in Indian cinema, long before Ranbir picked up the bow and arrow.
