CP3 is probably starting his last NBA season, so it seems like the proper decision for the seasoned point guard to return home with the
Los Angeles Clippers
. According to NBA source Chris Haynes, he is preparing for a probable farewell tour by agreeing to a one-year contract worth $3.6 million.

Paul, who played for the L.A. Clippers for six seasons, has also led the team in assists with 4,023, the highest in the team's history. This past season, he signed a one-year, $10.9 million contract with the
San Antonio Spurs
.
CP3, one of the top point guards available, was an unrestricted free agent going into the offseason for the second consecutive summer. At 40, he is still a productive floor general and distributor even though he isn't a top scorer anymore. Hence, the fans are looking forward to seeing him play for his new team.

IND vs ENG series: KL Rahul falls narrowly short of edging Sunil Gavaskar's England record
KL Rahul scored 532 runs during the five-match Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England. (PTI) KL Rahul has added another feather to his cap in the ongoing Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy by becoming India's second-highest run-scoring opener in a Test series in England. With 532 runs in the five-match series, Rahul has gone past Murali Vijay and Rohit Sharma but will not be able to jump the legendary Sunil Gavaskar . Gavaskar's iconic tally of 542 in 1979 has stood for over four decades now, and Rahul came within touching distance of overhauling that stat. His stay in the second innings of the fifth and final Test was disrupted by Josh Tongue. KL Rahul press conference: On last over fight, Rishabh Pant run out and fired up Shubman Gill KL Rahul, having opened the innings alongside Yashasvi Jaiswal, could only add 7 runs in the second innings before his stay was cut short by a cracking Tongue delivery that straightened on landing and forced an edge that was plucked by Joe Root in the slips. Despite the low scores of 7 and 14 in the Test at The Oval, it has been a great tour for the India opener. After scoring a century in the practice game against the England Lions, KL Rahul scored fifty-plus scores in all but the ongoing fifth Test. The 33-year-old latched scores 42, 137 (at Headingley), 2, 55 (at Edgbaston), 100, 39 (at Lord's), 46, 90 (at Old Trafford) and now 14, 7 (at The Oval). His 532 runs have come at an average of 53.20 with 1066 balls faced - only behind Shubman Gill (1141). Most Runs by an Indian Opener in a Test Series in England: 542 – Sunil Gavaskar (1979) 532 – KL Rahul (2025) 402 – Murali Vijay (2014) 368 – Rohit Sharma (2021-22) Catch Rani Rampal's inspiring story on Game On, Episode 4. IND vs ENG: 'Told Jasprit Bumrah, why are you leaving, whom would I hug after five wickets?' - Mohammed Siraj after Day 2 heroics
India's Mohammed Siraj (AP Photo/Kirsty Wigglesworth) After a day of high drama, intense spells, and swinging fortunes, Mohammed Siraj lightened the mood with a humorous behind-the-scenes anecdote involving none other than Jasprit Bumrah . Following his fiery four-wicket haul that helped India roar back into contention on Day 2 of the fifth Test against England, Siraj revealed a heartwarming exchange with his senior pace partner. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! 'I told Jasprit Bumrah, 'Why are you leaving? Whom would I hug after taking five wickets?'' Siraj shared in a video posted by the BCCI . 'He said, 'I'll be here. You just take the five.'' Although Siraj narrowly missed the five-wicket mark, his spell was instrumental in dismantling England for 247, after they had looked dominant early in the day. His aggressive burst in the afternoon session, which included key wickets like Joe Root and Ollie Pope, showcased not just skill but character after a tough opening spell. Prasidh Krishna, who also grabbed four wickets, spoke about the growing bond within India's pace unit: 'Siraj and I have been playing together for five years, including in the IPL. We talk a lot off the field. Same with Akash Deep — the fast bowling group is looking really sharp.' The camaraderie off the field is clearly translating into performance on it. After England's blazing start, 109 for 1 before lunch, India's pace trio stormed back, triggering a collapse and ending the innings with just a 23-run deficit. India ended the day on 75 for 2, with Yashasvi Jaiswal unbeaten on 51, giving them a lead of 52. But while the numbers tell one story, the chemistry between Siraj and Bumrah, built on shared fire and mutual respect, continues to fuel India's fast-bowling revolution. Football transfers: Son Heung-min to leave Spurs after a decade; where will he go next?
Son Heung-min had joined Tottenham Hotspur in 2015 from Bayer Leverkusen. (AP) Tottenham captain Son Heung-min announced his departure from the club after a decade during a press conference in Seoul on Saturday. The 33-year-old South Korean striker, who joined from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015, made this decision despite lifting the Europa League trophy in May, following a challenging season marked by injuries and diminished performance. His next destination is reported to be Los Angeles FC (LAFC) in the USA's Major League Soccer competition. This would come despite reported interest also from clubs in Saudi Arabia. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! Son has been a prominent figure at Tottenham, making over 450 appearances and scoring 173 goals since his arrival from the Bundesliga. "Before we start the press conference I wanted to say I have decided to leave the club this summer. Respectfully the club is helping me with this decision," Son told reporters during Tottenham's pre-season tour in Seoul. The emotional South Korean captain expressed the difficulty of his decision while reflecting on his journey at the club. "It was the most difficult decision I have made in my career. Such amazing memories. It was so hard to make the decision," Son said, accompanied by new Tottenham manager Thomas Frank. Son explained his reasons for leaving, emphasising his need for a fresh challenge. "I need a new environment to push myself. I need a little bit of change -- 10 years is a long time. I came to north London as a kid, 23 years old, such a young age. I leave this club as a grown man, a very proud man." New Tottenham manager Thomas Frank, who replaced the dismissed Ange Postecoglou after moving from Brentford, praised Son's contribution to the club. "For me, personally, I would have loved to have worked with this fantastic person and player," Frank stated. "He is a true Spurs legend in every aspect, one of the greatest players to play in the Premier League. It is never easy to find the perfect timing and me coming in from the side, it makes it a bit easier to end on a high."
