The Atlanta Braves shockingly didn't opt to make very many moves at the trade deadline. The reason this is so shocking is that the Braves are one of the worst teams in the league and could have used some valuable assets to land younger assets.

The Braves are in desperate need of a rebuild ahead of next season. They have a lot of talent, including the dynamic Ronald Acuña Jr. This disastrous season has seen a mix of poor play and injury woes that has sent the Braves to the bottom of the league.
If the Braves opt to trade Albies, they would be getting better. There are bound to be better second base options on the market, either in free agency or on the trade block, for the Braves to bring in to replace the former star.
