What's YOUR personality type? Scientists say all men fit into 6 categories – take the test to see if you're an alpha, bravo, delta, gamma, omega, or sigma

From Fight Club to Gladiator, many films feature characters described as 'alpha males'.
But did you know that there are actually six categories of men?
According to scientists, all men are either alphas, bravos, deltas, gammas, omegas, or sigmas.
So, which one are you?
Experts from IDRlabs have developed a quick Male Hierarchy Test that will reveal which category you fit into.
'The typology of male social hierarchies has become part of internet culture and is a categorization system that sorts heterosexual men into archetypes,' IDRlabs explained.
'The system has variously been called a piece of modern mythology, pseudoscience, and a great heuristic for navigating social relationships.
'Where in the male social hierarchy would you be?'
The Male Hierarchy Test features 31 statements, which respondents are asked to respond to on a five-point scale ranging from Disagree to Agree.
Statements include things like 'Being in debt doesn't worry me as long as I can see a way out of it,' 'I demand a lot from the people around me,' and 'I do not panic easily.'
At the end of the test, you'll be told which personality type you have, based on your answers.
1. Alpha Male
Alpha males are described as the 'leaders of the masculine social hierarchy'.
These men tend to be charismatic, decisive, and willing to take risks at the top - and are usually successful with women.
However, it's not all fun and games.
'To maintain their position in the hierarchy, alphas must grapple with the immense burdens of responsibility as others look to them for guidance and direction,' IDRlabs explained.
Examples of alpha males from TV shows and films include Captain America, Tommy Shelby from Peaky Blinders, and Maximus from Gladiator.
2. Bravo Male
Bravo males are the 'lieutenants' of the masculine social hierarchy, according to IDRlabs.
And contrary to popular belief, bravos are not at the bottom of the hierarchy - they're actually near the top.
'They are usually found in close proximity to the alpha, where they act as his trusted advisors and perform essential roles in the hierarchy,' the experts explaind.
As loyal 'staff' to the alpha, bravos also get to enjoy many of the benefits of high social status.
In fact, they tend to be well-liked by women, and are even seen as friendlier than alpha males.
Ron Weasley from Harry Potter, and Samwise Gamgee from Lord of the Rings are both examples of classic bravo males.
3. Delta Male
Delta males are described as the 'workers' of the masculine social hierarchy.
They consist of 'normal guys' who are not necessarilty interested in fighting for dominance, and instead pride themselves on 'getting the job done'.
However, this attitude can land them in trouble.
'Because they tend to be frank and straightforward, expecting sincerity and decency in others, deltas may sometimes be exploited – by friends, family or romantic partners – who are associating with the delta to milk them for favors and resources rather than because they like them,' IDRlabs explained.
'Deltas would do well to remember that their earnestness and resources are likely to attract freeloaders.'
Delta males from TV and film include Marty McFly from Back To The Future, and Frodo Baggins from Lord of the Rings.
4. Gamma Male
Examples in TV and film
Alpha - Captain America, Tommy Shelby, Maximus
Bravo - Ron Weasley, Samwise Gamgee
Delta - Marty McFly, Frodo Baggins
Gamma - Jack Sparrow, Tony Stark, Han Solo
Omega - Peter Parker, Walter Mitty
Sigma - James Bond, Bruce Wayne, and John Wick
Gamma males are the 'intellectuals' of the masculine social hierarchy.
These men tend to be 'book smart', but lack the social skills, money, looks, or mental toughness needed to establish dominance.
'Because intellect is their strength, gammas often overstress the intellectual side of life, believing that it alone should determine who makes it to the top,' IDRlabs said.
'To gammas, it will often seem unfair that their intellectual inferiors are the ones to rise to the top.'
Since gammas tend to be dissatisfied with their position, women tend to pick up on their frustration and dismiss them.
Examples in TV and film include Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, Tony Stark from Ironman, and Han Solo from Star Wars.
5. Omega Male
At the bottom of the masculine social hierarchy is the omega male.
These men usually lack social skills and tend to be introverted, with no self-confidence.
Unfortunately, these traits mean they are usually unpopular - particularly among women.
Peter Parker from Spiderman, and Walter Mitty from The Secret Life of Walter Mitty are classic examples of omega males.
6. Sigma Male
Finally, we have sigma males, who shun the masculine social hierarchy altogether.
These 'lone wolves' turn their backs on the norms of society, and pursue their own path instead.
This can make sigmas unpopular with alphs and bravos, who don't trust them.
However, among women, sigmas usually prove to be a hit.
'Women often find the self-determination and detachment of sigmas attractive, so sigmas are likely to do well with the opposite sex,' IDRlabs explained.
James Bond, Bruce Wayne, and John Wick are all examples of typical sigma men.
In a recent study, scientists found that being a vegetarian makes both women and men less attractive as potential partners.
Male vegetarians are also viewed as less masculine, according to the researchers.
'Women who reject traditional masculinity based on strength and dominance may perceive male vegetarians differently than those who embrace traditional masculinity,' they said.

Kourtney Kardashian sparks fury over 'messed up' detail in Father's Day post: 'Kids will see this'

Kourtney Kardashian Barker shares three of her four children - son Mason, 15; daughter Penelope, 12; and son Reign, 10 - with babydaddy Scott Disick, but she failed to pay tribute to him on Father's Day. The 45-year-old reality star famously ended her on/off nine-year relationship with the 42-year-old Talentless CEO in 2015 shortly after he publicly canoodled with stylist Chloé Bartoli. But Instagram users like @hilarythegoaldigger felt Kourtney's obvious snub was cold, commenting: 'I love how she acts like Scott was never a huge part of her life.' Instagram user @its_suzzieq commented on Kardashian's slideshow with a meme of the preppy 'Lord' Disick looking shocked. 'The fact that Scott wasn't mentioned is messed up,' Instagram user @aliciamarie0627 wrote. 'I'm sorry.' Instagram user @navsoroya agreed: 'What about Scott?' 'Your kids are going to see this and feel some type of way,' Instagram user @kimica12 commented. While Instagram user @truthhurts2498 felt The Kardashians producer-star 'owes no public shoutout to Scott' because 'he never acknowledged her publicly for Mother's Day!' 'Scott isn't her husband,' Instagram user @thejasbrad blasted. 'This post is dedicated to her husband and him as dad. A text is appropriate.' On May 26, an insider told The Daily Mail that the real estate house flipper thought Kourtney 'has changed' and was 'irresponsible' over wanting to homeschool their children rather than enroll them at the family's 'dated' alma mater, Sierra Canyon School. 'Scott values hard work and sees school as essential and would never allow his kids to not attend,' a source claimed. 'If they are always at home around Kourtney they will miss out on substantial knowledge and teachings that Scott feels every kid should experience.' Disick - who dropped out of Ross School in New York - also reportedly feels like Kardashian's house with husband Travis Barker 'can be chaotic' and he 'is especially uneasy with the influence of his 18-year-old daughter Alabama.' Ironically, the Lemme co-founder is one of the few college graduates in her family as she holds a bachelor's degree in theatre arts from the University of Arizona. On Sunday, the five-time rehabbed star Instastoried a revolting video of an old man bragging about his wife having 'no gag reflex' which he captioned: 'Happy Father's Day boys!' 'The fact that Scott wasn't mentioned is messed up,' Instagram user @aliciamarie0627 wrote. 'I'm sorry' 'Scott isn't her husband,' Instagram user @thejasbrad blasted. 'This post is dedicated to her husband and him as dad. A text is appropriate' Meanwhile, Kourtney Instastoried two snaps of her late father Robert Kardashian - who died, at age 59, in 2003 from esophageal cancer - captioned: 'God blessed us with the absolute best dad' Kardashian then posted a PJ-clad snap of herself with the 48-year-old Grammy-nominated drummer and their 19-month-old son Rocky Thirteen that she captioned: 'Which led me to you @travisbarker.' 'Happy Father's Day to the man who loves with his whole heart — for our baby, for my three, for his three… for our seven,' the Poosh founder - who boasts 283.4M social media followers - captioned her Instagram slideshow. 'This wild, beautiful blended life wouldn't be the same without you.' Kourtney made sure to include snaps of Travis' three older children - son Landon, 21; daughter Alabama, 18; and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 26 - from his three-year marriage to Miss USA 1995 Shanna Moakler, which ended in 2008. The only family member who honored all of the father figures in the Kardashian-Jenner clan - including Scott, Kanye 'Ye' West, and Tristan Thompson - was matriarch Kris Jenner. 'You have shaped, supported, and loved us in so many ways and I'm grateful to have witnessed the love that each of you has for your children,' the 69-year-old grandmother-of-13 gushed. Meanwhile, Kourtney Instastoried two snaps of her late father Robert Kardashian - who died, at age 59, in 2003 from esophageal cancer - captioned: 'God blessed us with the absolute best dad' The only family member who honored all of the father figures in the Kardashian-Jenner clan - including Scott, Kanye 'Ye' West, and Tristan Thompson - was matriarch Kris Jenner Rather than Father's Day, Khloé Kardashian honored her momager in two Instastories while Kim Kardashian (pictured) focused on celebrating her daughter North West's 12th birthday on Sunday 'To my son, Rob… you were born to be a daddy and I am so proud of the father and the man you are. I love you! I wish all the dads out there a day filled with love.' Kris' youngest daughters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner both failed to mention their father Caitlyn Jenner, who's currently in war-torn Israel. Rather than Father's Day, Khloé Kardashian honored her momager in two Instastories while Kim Kardashian focused on celebrating her daughter North West's 12th birthday on Sunday. Kardashian currently executive produces and stars in her family's reality show The Kardashians, which Hulu renewed for a seventh season last July. The half-Armenian beauty was technically the first member of her family to star in a reality show - The Simple Life-inspired eight-episode series Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, which aired in 2005 on E!

Mountainhead review: Billionaires more loathsome than the Roy family

Succession creator Jesse Armstong's first project since the HBO smash hit is the film Mountainhead, and somehow he has managed to come up with billionaires more loathsome than the Roy family. As the world veers into an apocalyptic metldown filled with violence and burning cities (somehow eerily believable), four billionaires gather for a snowy retreat at a luxurious Utah mansion, 'Mountainhead'. Advertisement A social media app called Traam (think TikTok on steroids) is fuelling the real-world violence that has destabilised countries, and its owner Venis ( Cory Michael Smith) is the richest man on the planet. Succession creator Jesse Armstong's first project since the HBO smash hit is the film Mountainhead, and somehow he has managed to come up with billionaires more loathsome than the Roy family. An Elon Musk-type who still has his direct line to the US president, Venis is in denial about the damage his platform is doing and thinks only about the profits. Randall (Steve Carell) is another billionaire whose desire to see the world go 'transhuman' is inspired by a bad medical diagnosis, and he needs to take advantage of Venis and Jeff (Ramy Youssef) to do so. Jeff owns an AI verification app that has the power to curb much of the misinformation on Traam, but refuses to sell to Venis. Advertisement Jason Schwartzman is Soup Kitchen, or Soups, who is the only member worth less than $1 billion, hence the unfavourable nickname. He owns Mountainhead and serves as the mediator of the group. However, they are all pawns to Randall and this leads to their weekend retreat taking a very dark turn. The dialogue is succint and bruta at times as the four billionaires cruelly 'razz' each other. Thinks Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos and Peter Thiel on a weekend away together. They gleefully plot a 'coup' of the world that will put the concept of the nation-state at an end. However, they are also desperately ignorant of the real world, an actual line from the movie that gives the perfect example is: "Once one Palestinian kid sees some really bananas content from one Israeli kid – it's all over!' The concept is brilliant and the tension built up over the story keeps the film going, however it goes off the boil a bit towards the end. It's no Succession but worth a watch, we give it three out of five stars. Mountainhead is now available to watch on Sky Atlantic and to stream on NOW in Ireland

MindsEye Guide: Missions 13-15 Walkthrough

MindsEye Guide: Missions 13-15 Mission 13: Penthouse Gamble Back to top ↑ Exit the car and head north, over to the marked door (pictured below). The game doesn't actually tell you this but unlike with Claudia's apartment, you don't need to send your drone all the way to the roof, despite what the instructions tell you to do. Instead, head over to the red door north by the garage and press R1 and B to short-circuit the panel. Inside, use the elevator to head up and follow the linear path all the way to the penthouse. When you get near the ladder, you'll need to hop down to the exterior and run along the edges When prompted, smash the glass with your gun and head inside. Work your way through the building, being sure to use your Linebacker given the close-quarters combat that will come at you. Be sure to turn on your torch too by pressing the right directional button for clearer visibility. Eventually you'll reach the office. Inside, approach the painting opposite the computer and scan it by pressing the down directional button. Press Triangle (Y) to crack the safe and to get the digits, simply wait for the marker to hover round to the red pin and press X (A) to trigger. Do this five times and you'll gain the Achievement: Robin Of Lock Keys. When you leave the room, watch out for the five enemies here waiting for you. Kill them and once they're dealt with, head to the elevator to trigger a cutscene. Mission 14: The Mole Back to top ↑ Exit the house and drive over to Claudia's. Deploy your drone and wait for Claudia to exit when you get there, then use your drone to keep near to her car. It doesn't really matter if you bump into her with the drone or even hover it in front of her face, the game isn't intelligent enough to register this as a fail. However, you do need to keep it close enough for the hack to complete and the files to copy so you'll need to follow for a while. When the copying reaches 100%, follow the route across to Claudia at the parking lot. When you get there, you'll need to fight through the enemies that will ambush you. It's a good idea to use your SMG for maximum effect here as they're generally spread out and mid-to-long-range distance. Afterwards, you'll need to use your drone to enter the office. To do so, deploy your drone, stay in cover behind the nearby barricade (enemies will attack as soon as you unlock the doors) and fly it outside. Look out for an open office window (pictured below) then fly in and stun the door with a hit of R1 and O. Kill the enemies that arrive and exit out the stairwell. Kill the next set of enemies on the ground floor and enter your car. When you exit out the parking lot, make sure you turn left, not right, to stay close to Claudia as a car chase will ensue. You'll now need to chase Claudia all over the city and it does go on for a while. Finally you'll reach the Solar farm out in the desert where she'll stop. Once here, kill the enemies, being sure to use your scan (pressing down) to locate any strays that may have got stuck on the terrain. With the enemies dead, and Claudia riding out into the sunset to fight another day, return to your car and it'll trigger another cutscene. Mission 15: Seeking Doctor Morrison Back to top ↑ Drive all the way over to the Perez mines and some drones will attack. Be sure to use your SMG for maximum effect and scan your environment to mark these on your map. When they turn their green light (docile) to red (attacking), be sure to keep cover and attack with your long-range weapons. Once they're all gone, follow the marker into the mines. Eventually you'll find an area with a large yellow door (pictured above). When you approach, another cutscene will ensue. It's quite a long one to be fair and once it's done, you'll need to head up the long corridor and stairwell to retrieve your weapons. Then, you'll need to double-back on yourself to trigger the next cutscene and end this mission.
