These are three perfect Game Pass games to dive into this weekend (August 8-10)

Digital Trends11 hours ago
August is going to be a big month for all of us Xbox fans out there. Xbox has already confirmed it will have a big presence at Gamescom, with tons of playable demos for upcoming video games, as well as its new ROG Xbox Ally handhelds on the showfloor. That's a ton to look forward to later in the month, but there are a slew of new Game Pass games you can get excited to play this very weekend. The first wave of games has been announced and I did the difficult work of sorting through the new additions to pick out only the three standout games you should play this weekend. Whether you want a big single player adventure, a more introspective narrative game, or something that can't be so easily described, these are the games to play.
Assassin's Creed Mirage
Assassin's Creed Mirage is a bit of a forgotten and overlooked entry in the franchise. This game followed Valhalla and was an attempt to bring the series back to its more stealth-focused roots as opposed to the giant open world RPGs it had become since Origins. It features Basim, a side character from Valhalla, in ninth-century Baghdad as he joins the order of the Hidden Ones to become an assassin. This game evokes a lot of the same feelings as the first entry, but with far smoother gameplay and deeper systems. It wasn't the perfect return to the old formula some fans wanted, but if you're burnt out on the huge open worlds of the current games, this is a great change of pace that you can beat in a reasonable amount of time while getting your assassin fix.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
January feels like a lifetime ago, doesn't it? Now that we've had so many game of the year contenders come out, it can be easy to forget the first indie darling of the year, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. While the gameplay mechanics and world are connected to the first game, there's nothing stopping you from jumping straight into this sequel. You play as an android called a Sleeper who rewrites their own code to try and eek out a life in a ruthless space future. Gameplay is time and dice-based, where you need to choose what activities you do in a day and spend your dice to give yourself the best odds of succeeding in said task. If you like games where you constantly feel on the brink of defeat, you'll love this. It sounds complicated but it makes perfect sense when you play. This is a game you will fall in love with for its story.
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC.
Rainworld
For the most experimental game on this list, I had to include Rainworld. At its core, it is a survival game where you play as a strange alien cat slug thing on an alien world where you're at the bottom of the food chain. There's no direct story or goals beyond survival, but the visuals and mysterious wonder of the world and creatures make it somehow cozy. I find it has similar vibes to old adventure games like Out of This World, if that means anything to you. All the animations are generated in real time, resulting in fluid and unique movements. You can choose to play the game just a few times to get the gist, but there's a huge world to explore here if you want to fully immerse yourself.
Rainworld is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC.

Dream It, Build It, Ship It: India's Multilingual Leap in Agentic AI

India's readiness is further underscored by its rapid rise in AI talent and multilingual NLP capabilities, enabling developers and non-developers, even in remote regions, to build applications in regional languages. Opinions expressed by Entrepreneur contributors are their own. You're reading Entrepreneur India, an international franchise of Entrepreneur Media. India is emerging as a dominant force in the global Agentic AI landscape. According to NASSCOM's recent Generative AI Tracker, Indian GenAI startups have surged 3.7 times in number to over 890 by H1 CY2025, with approximately 83 per cent focused on vertical, application-oriented solutions. Nearly 25 per cent of GenAI startup funding in the second half of FY25 was channeled to Agentic AI, emphasizing workflow automation, legal, and ITSM solutions. Ali Rey, Group Head Technology, Emirates NBD spoke about the growing duality of Agentic AI and empowering employees through AI tools and said at a Nasscom event held in Bengaluru, "The agent is coming around for good and for bad, and we need to make sure we leverage it for good use cases." Rey said that Emirates has gone all in and a large portion of the corporation has open AI or co-pilot within the office applications. "We have GitHub with co-pilot. We've seen that they're improving from a productivity point of view 20, 30, 40 per cent. We run models for the GPUs on-premise… we really want to roll that AI across the bank as much as possible and take advantage of it," added Rey. The Enterprise Experiments with AI Agents – 2025 Global Trends report reveals that 88 per cent of enterprises plan to allocate specific budgets to test and build AI agents, with over 60 per cent already progressing from pilot to production stages. Another NASSCOM insight indicates enterprises are expected to spend 3-4 times more on AI agents in 2025, redirecting investments from traditional AI toward interactive, autonomous agent-based systems. Ankit Bose, Head of AI, Nasscom, said that the benefit of AI to businesses and service companies is separate. "But we did a study last year, and what we realised was that developer satisfaction effectiveness has increased way above right. All the developers are using AI in some form. More and more enterprises are opening up for that," said Bose. On the enterprise side, 88 per cent of organizations globally now have dedicated budgets to experiment with AI agents, and over 60 per cent are moving from pilots to production, reflecting the "prompt, generate, verify" software lifecycle. Karan M V, International Developer Relations Director at GitHub, on Agentic AI redefining the software lifecycle and India's cultural readiness for agentic interactions, said, "This is what's happening, redefining how software itself is built. This is evolving into a prompt, generate, verify. The new SDLC. We are used to working with agents, even in the physical world here in India. This is actually a part of our DNA of working with agents." India's readiness is further underscored by its rapid rise in AI talent and multilingual NLP capabilities, enabling developers and non-developers, even in remote regions, to build applications in regional languages. "A student, even remote, can start off their journey by prompting in their own natural language, whether it be Kannada or Hindi. Imagine building entire apps only using natural language and ship it," added Karan.

Agentic AI Is The ‘Now' Of The Employee Experience

Sourabh Deorah is the co-founder and CEO of The world of work is changing, and so are employee expectations. Beyond job security and pay, employees seek belonging, recognition, growth and fulfillment—much like an evolved Maslow's hierarchy of needs. While AI technology is helping organizations meet these deeper needs, one question remains. How can organizations keep up with the rising aspirations of their people? Enter AI—more specifically, agentic AI. This technology is reshaping how HR teams deliver personalized and meaningful experiences at scale. What makes agentic AI so powerful is its ability to understand the nuances of human behavior, react to changes in real time and, most importantly, interact in a conversational way. Agentic AI is intuitive, personal and engaging because, rather than merely reacting to commands, it autonomously drives meaningful, real-time experiences while offering conversational support. As a result, it can enhance key aspects of the HR function. A Seamless Employee Experience One of agentic AI's key benefits is its ability to seamlessly integrate all aspects of the employee experience—including recognition, rewards, wellness and engagement—into daily workflows. This technology can act on behalf of employees. It doesn't just respond to a request. It actively engages with employees to deliver the right information or action at the right time. And as we know, when employees feel supported, they're more likely to be engaged, perform at their best and remain with their employer. Personalizing experiences for employees has always been a challenging task. Every employee has their own preferences, behaviors and needs. Creating truly personalized experiences, especially at scale, seemed almost impossible in the past. But advanced AI technology is now elevating our approach. By intelligently utilizing data, agentic AI learns individual employees' preferences and behaviors, then tailors interactions accordingly. What once seemed like a Herculean task is now handled effortlessly as personalized employee experiences become sustainable. One of the biggest challenges HR teams face is how to make recognition timely, relevant and consistent. In traditional models, recognition often happens at predetermined times, like quarterly reviews, annual awards or milestone events. But this delayed communication can seem impersonal and disconnected from the employee's day-to-day work. With agentic AI, recognition becomes an ongoing process driven by real-time engagement and continuous feedback. The right tools can take on the administrative load, analyze engagement patterns and autonomously execute recognition workflows. To ensure the process is both personal and efficient, agentic AI could nudge managers or team leaders at optimal moments. Then a simple command like 'Reward Alex for exceptional teamwork' could initiate acts like drafting a congratulatory message or allocating points in a reward system. With this technology, recognition becomes embedded in the organization's culture, rather than feeling like an afterthought. Employee wellness programs have traditionally been passive in nature. They're set up by HR, communicated to employees, then often forgotten until the next wellness campaign. But HR leaders can turn wellness into an active process with agentic AI. This technology can identify the right opportunities for each employee based on their preferences and behaviors—whether it's taking a break, joining a wellness challenge or accessing mental health resources. Then the tool can provide personalized recommendations, reminders or nudges in real time. This can not only improve employees' health and well-being but also create a more engaging work environment. Agentic AI Can Amplify Human Connection The future of work isn't about replacing human connection with technology. It's about amplifying human potential. The key to making this work lies in blending technology with empathy. Agentic AI has the potential to completely transform the way we approach the employee experience. According to Gartner, "by 2028, 33% of enterprise software applications will include agentic AI ... enabling 15% of day-to-day work decisions to be made autonomously." So, the organizations that embrace this technology now will be able to meet their workforce's current needs and remain ahead of the curve by building a sustainable, thriving environment. The future of the employee experience is already here, and those who act quickly will reap the benefits of creating an empowered, engaged and well-supported workforce. AI in Healthcare & Medical Hiring: The Front Lines

Aaron Dhaliwal, CEO, avua. As the CEO of avua, an AI-powered hiring platform supporting clients across North America, Europe and the Middle East, I've seen firsthand how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the way healthcare talent is recruited, matched and retained. While AI is transforming patient care, diagnostics and drug discovery, what often gets overlooked is how profoundly it's also transforming healthcare hiring. We work across six sectors, including healthcare and medical, two of our fastest-moving industries. From nurses and pharmacists to clinical researchers and telehealth coordinators, demand is soaring and AI is now at the core of how we identify talent, assess skills and deliver faster, smarter matches for employers. Here are five ways AI is reshaping healthcare in 2025, through the lens of hiring, recruitment and workforce planning. 1. Drug Discovery Acceleration, Demand For AI-Literate Researchers AI is transforming drug discovery, cutting R&D timelines and reducing costs by analyzing enormous datasets in record time. But this speed creates new hiring challenges. Pharmaceutical companies now need biomedical researchers, data scientists and regulatory experts who understand platforms like AlphaFold, IBM Watson or BenchSci. We've seen a surge in pharma job posts that require hybrid skill sets, including biology, chemistry and AI fluency. Recruiters are now screening for candidates who can translate between science and machine learning. For Job Seekers: Update your CV with keywords like "AI in drug development," "clinical trial analytics" and "bioinformatics platforms." 2. Personalized Care Is Creating New Clinical Roles Healthcare is moving from reactive to proactive, and AI is powering that shift. Predictive analytics help identify patients at risk before symptoms emerge. But implementing these systems requires clinicians, care coordinators and analysts who can work with AI tools to create tailored care plans. Hospitals are looking to fill roles like AI-assisted care planners and digital health strategists, positions that barely existed two years ago. For Employers: Hiring managers need to rethink role requirements. Soft skills like empathy still matter, but digital and AI literacy are fast becoming nonnegotiable. 3. Clinical Trial Automation Is Creating Demand For AI-Enabled Coordinators Running clinical trials used to take years. Now AI can identify eligible participants, monitor data in real time and automate reporting. But someone still needs to run the show. We're seeing a spike in demand for clinical trial managers, compliance officers and site liaisons who can integrate with AI platforms like Medidata or TriNetX. For Job Seekers: Emphasize adaptability. Candidates who demonstrate quick learning of new tech tools, even outside healthcare, are outperforming traditional résumés. 4. AI Diagnostics Are Reshaping Radiology And Imaging Recruitment AI is now analyzing imaging scans faster and with fewer errors than human radiologists alone. But this doesn't replace people; it reshapes the role. Radiologists, technicians and imaging analysts are increasingly expected to work with AI systems, not in parallel. Recruiters are now looking for candidates who understand both clinical workflow and machine learning tools, often a rare combination. Our Platform Insight: Roles mentioning "AI in diagnostics" on our platform have grown 54% year over year. We now suggest employers include "AI integration experience preferred" in their job descriptions to attract the right profiles. 5. Telemedicine And AI: The Rise Of Digital-First Healthcare Roles Since the pandemic, telemedicine has become a staple of care, and in 2025, it's evolved. AI chatbots now triage basic cases, virtual assistants schedule visits and NLP tools handle documentation. As a result, employers are hiring for telehealth support, remote care managers and digital experience specialists at scale. These jobs aren't just clinical; they sit at the intersection of tech support, UX and patient engagement. Soft skills and tech fluency are key. For Job Seekers: Using keywords like "telehealth," "virtual care platforms" and "AI triage systems" is now a must to get noticed. Final Thought: Hiring For The Future Of Care AI isn't just changing healthcare; it's redefining who works in it, how they're hired and what employers should be looking for. The smartest organizations in 2025 aren't just adopting AI in their operations; they're using it to build better teams, faster.
