How to find story quests in Fortnite Galactic Battle Season
Hidden Story Quests Guide (Data Log Locations, Broken Tie Fighter, General Grievous & More) Fortnite
In the current season, the
Fortnite Chapter 6 story quests
are hidden across the island, marked by the green circles on the map. You will need to visit each of these zones and interact with the NPCs or specific objects to trigger the missions. While some require retrieving the items, other quests include piloting the ships or talking to characters like Poe Dameron or General Grievous.
Rebel Data Log Entries
To find it, head to the Rebel Outposts that are marked by the green circles on the map. It can be near Resistance Base or Burd to Go. Look for the glowing computers and then interact with them to Retrieve Data Log. Complete the action 4 times across varied locations/matches.
Fortnite - Retrieve The Rebel Data Log Entry (Story Quests)
Watch out for a very common glitch. If the computer freezes after interacting, it's suggested that the match be quit and restarted. Give priority to quieter outposts early in the game to avoid interruptions from enemy players.
Bring General Grievous Jedi Padawan Lightsaber
You can find General Grievous on the northeast of Rolling Blossoms Farm. He will ask you for the lightsaber, which needs tracking of Rey's hologram. Once the 1st story circle closes, check the map for the blue lightsaber icon and race for it before the others.
How to EASILY Bring a Jedi Padawan Lightsaber to General Grievous Fortnite
Interact with Ray's hologram to claim the lightsaber and then come back to Grievous. The quest will reward XP and tie it to the season's Sith vs. Jedi narrative.
Destroy Structures using X-Wing Guns
For it, visit Poe Dameron at Resistance Base, located south of the Lavish Lair. Accept the Flight Lessons quest from him and hop into the X-Wing. Make sure to aim for structures like trees, buildings, etc., and fire 25 times to complete the objective.
*SECRET XP QUEST* Destroy Structures with X-Wing's Guns - Fortnite Found Story Quest
Return back to Poe to earn a Legendary A280-CFE Blaster Rifle. You can revisit him in future matches for repeating quests for easier high-tier loot.
Fix TIE Fighter on the south of Flooded Frogs
Land at Revel Outpost, located south of the Flooded Frogs and interact with the computer near a broken TIE fighter. Collect the 3 fuel canisters (marked with the quest icons) that are scattered nearby and deposit them into the ship.
Gather fuel and fix the TIE Fighter Fortnite Galactic Battle
After the repair, you can pilot the TIE Fighter immediately. You can even return in the later matches to repeat the fights. It is ideal for the players who love to dominate the skies!
Retrieve Stormtrooper Data Logs
For it, visit Vader Samurai's Solitude, located northwest of the Redline Rig, and search the houses for the Stormtrooper computers. Then, interact with 4 of them across varied matches and finish the quest.
Retrieve the stormtrooper Rebel Data Log Entry Fortnite (first, second, third and forth)
Unlike the Rebel logs, these logs are concentrated in 1 area. It makes it faster but even riskier because of the enemy traffic. Drop here when there are less crowded match phases. It will help you avoid the early eliminations.
Pro tips to find and complete story quests
Land at the quest locations after the battle bus launch.
Complete Rey's hologram lightsaber quest mid-game when there are fewer players around.
TIE Fighter repair is valuable for the long term.
Watch for the visual glitches at the computer terminals.
The Resistance Base X-Wing quest will give the best reward—a legendary blaster.
Pair the quests with the weekly challenges to maximize the XP gains. Keep an eye on the map updates, as
Epic Games
might add more story missions later on in the season. For now, focus on the above 5 quests for leveling up and piecing together a Galactic Battle narrative.

‘KPop Demon Hunters' shows how kids matter more to streaming than adults
If you're over 30, you've not watched the most popular animated movie in the world right now. Unless, of course, you are a parent. There exists a vast, brightly lit playground of content where grown-ups without children never wander, and within that candy-coloured wilderness, KPop Demon Hunters has planted its glitter-tipped flag. Six weeks after its 25 June release, the Netflix original became the most-watched animated film in the platform's history. This matters not merely because of the numbers (though those are gargantuan, with 158.8 million total views placing it fourth among all of Netflix's English-language films) but because it proves that the 'adult market" is no longer the beating heart of global entertainment. The children, the tweens, and the fervid fan-armies are in charge. The rest of us can either watch, or be left out of the conversation entirely. We may be one pop-chorus away from singing Baby Shark at cocktail parties just to fit in. What KPop Demon Hunters truly signals is that the 'mature" adult market is now a minority demographic in global media consumption. Our prestige-TV discussions, our Oscar-bait dramas, our limited-series think-pieces? They are but niche pursuits compared to the universal reach of a K-pop anthem paired with demon-slaying choreography. Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans for Sony Pictures Animation, KPop Demon Hunters is exactly what its title promises, and then some: a neon mash-up of K-drama emotionality, splash-pages, anime fight-physics, and arena-style concert lighting. The story follows Huntr/x, a girl-group whose day job is selling out stadiums, and whose night shifts involve slicing through supernatural baddies with otherworldly flair. Their power source? 'Honmoon" energy—something that is part spiritual essence, part chart-topper adrenaline. The set-pieces alternate between the spectacular (stadium pyrotechnics and demon-portal vortexes feel cut from the same storyboard) and the slyly absurd. The action moves like choreography, every punch a pirouette, every back-flip a key change. The visual aesthetic owes a significant debt to the Spider-Verse movies, and the hyper-stylised cuts of Korean music videos, but the blend is seamless. The K-pop aesthetic appears to be made for fantasy combat, and vice versa. K-pop isn't wallpaper here: it's plot, propulsion, and in-story weaponry. The soundtrack boasts songwriting royalty (TEDDY, Danny Chung, IDO) and performances from EJAE, REI AMI, and TWICE's Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung. The album itself hit No.2 on the Billboard 200, with over 1.5 billion streams globally. The film's biggest hit, the single Golden, didn't just go viral; it topped the Billboard Global 200 for three weeks and became the first all-female group track to hit No.1 on the Billboard Streaming Songs chart. I'd honestly be surprised if the track doesn't get nominated for an Oscar next year. It is rare for critics to agree so enthusiastically on something pitched squarely at younger audiences. Yet KPop Demon Hunters wears a 97% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes like a sparkly tiara, while audiences give it a hearty 92%. The reviews have been uniformly enthusiastic. If you want proof that the throne has shifted to the nursery, here it is: Netflix's all-time top 3 English-language films are Red Notice (230.9 million views), Carry-On (172.1 million), and Don't Look Up (171.4 million). Most recently, Adam Sandler sequel Happy Gilmore 2 swung on to the screen with a record-breaking 46.7 million views in its first three days, marking Netflix's biggest US opening ever for a film. Yet here's the kicker: while Sandler's sequel shot out of the gate like a golf ball on fire, KPop Demon Hunters didn't just launch; it stayed—its momentum unrelenting as children (and their parents) fire up the film for repeat viewings. By the time you read this, it should easily have overtaken Don't Look Up, a multi-starrer headlined by Leonardo DiCaprio. Will it go on to hit No.1? Don't bet against it. Once upon a time, 'children's entertainment" was a ghetto, brightly coloured, often simplistic, and easily ignored by anyone outside its target age group. Today, shows and films aimed at young audiences far surpass the numbers ratcheted up by critically acclaimed prestige dramas. From Bluey memes to the Frozen sing-along industrial complex, kids' culture now seeps upward, dictating what trends, what gets made, and what dominates charts. KPop Demon Hunters is the apotheosis of that shift: slick, savvy, and with music that lodges itself into adult ears despite themselves. It's engineered for fandom engagement as well as social media performance. Netflix doesn't just have a hit; it has a cross-platform juggernaut whose memes are multilingual. The not so secret ingredient here is repeatability. Beloved prestige shows like Better Call Saul or The Bear might inspire one or two methodical rewatches among their faithful, but they are, by nature, slow-burn feasts. Animated blockbusters, on the other hand, are espresso shots of colour and melody designed for relentless looping. Parents hit 'Play Again" because the tiny, tyrannical overlords demand it. One household, one account, can clock a dozen views in a fortnight, and each is another gleaming tick in Netflix's rankings. The numbers don't just reflect reach. They reflect obsession, and that's where the grown-up market simply can't compete. The pint-sized popstars of Huntr/x are, therefore, not only hunting for demons. They're out for dominance, and they've already won. We will have to recalibrate ourselves. We're stepping into an age where the mainstream is defined by those still in school. The kids are holding the remote now, and the beat drops when they say so. Raja Sen is a screenwriter and critic. Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool confirmed for Avengers: Doomsday, but with a twist
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up for its biggest comeback yet with Avengers: Doomsday, and after months of doubt and speculation, Ryan Reynolds has seemingly confirmed that Deadpool will be making an appearance. The fan-favorite Deadpool actor recently teased fans on social media with a cryptic post - the iconic Avengers' 'A' tagged with a Deadpool-style red graffiti - and the internet is buzzing with excitement. Ryan Reynolds is set to return as Deadpool in Avengers: Doomsday.(x/@Deelaw_17) The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Ryan Reynolds will be reprising his role in the movie, but his character won't be joining the primary Avengers team. Deadpool's exclusion from the cast reveal MCU unveiled the ambitious cast for Marvel's highly anticipated sequel to Avengers: Endgame in March this year, which includes multiverse regulars like Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, and a surprise appearance by Robert Downey Jr. who, instead of reprising his role as Iron Man, will be playing Doctor Doom. Even veterans from Fox's X-Men franchise such as Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and James Marsden will appear in the sequel. Amidst the star-studded chaos, one name was left out and fans were quite disappointed with the exclusion. Deadpool did not appear in the stellar cast reveal, which led to confusion among fans, especially because many of the original characters from the X-Men franchise were featured in the latest Deadpool movie, the record-breaking Deadpool & Wolverine. Hence, the exclusion did not make sense. Furthermore, other major characters from the multiverse, like Spider Man and Wolverine, who were expected by fans to play major roles in the upcoming movie's plot, were also absent. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige later hinted that the original cast announcement was far from complete, leaving room for surprise reveals. Deadpool's addition now proves that point, raising speculation that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine could be next. Also Read | All about Dogpool: 'Britain's Ugliest Dog' to Deadpool & Wolverine cast member Why Deadpool's return matters Following Ryan Reynolds' social media teaser, The Hollywood Report has confirmed the snarky mercenary will, in fact, be making a comeback on Doomsday, but not as a part of the primary Avengers team. After Deadpool & Wolverine grossed a staggering $1.3 billion worldwide, it would be absurd if he didn't, making his role essential given the film's focus on universe-bending chaos. Deadpool's personality does not indicate him to be much of a team-player, which aligns with MCU's vision, making him appear as an outsider. Reynolds had also previously joked that Wade Wilson could never be a member of the Avengers or X-Men because that would mean all his dreams were coming true. Deadpool's comeback makes one wonder - but what about Wolverine? Given that both characters were together at the end of Deadpool & Wolverine, it is very likely that Hugh Jackman might be back as the mutant X-Men fighter. Moreover, it is also confirmed that Channing Tatum will be coming back as Gambit. The graffiti symbol shown in the teaser that Reynolds posted on socials, is akin to the logo of the Void's Resistance in Deadpool & Wolverine. This, in addition to the confirmation of Deadpool's return could only mean one thing - the full lineup could be reuniting.
