Fortnite Death Star live event countdown and start time in your region
It's time to take on the Emperor and end the current season of Fortnite with a flourish. A fresh trailer gives players a sneak peek at what awaits them in the live event kicking off later today. The Fortnite Galactic Battle mini season is nearing its conclusion, with the five-week narrative reaching a dramatic climax in today's Death Star Sabotage live event. Hopefully, you've had the opportunity to command a Star Destroyer because once the event wraps up, there will be a brief pause before the next season and its rumoured superhero theme commences. On that subject, there has been some uncertainty about which Fortnite season we're currently in, but it appears that the Star Wars crossover isn't numbered and was squeezed between Chapter 6 Season 2 and the forthcoming Chapter 6 Season 3; this is according to leaked key art (@PoketOfficial via @Shiina). We're set for a superhero theme which seems to align with Fortnite OG Chapter 4's theme (and start time), and there's an anticipated Superman collaboration as well as superhero Battle Pass skins, new POIs, and more. But before we reach that point, we have the Fortnite live event to round off the current season. Epic Games unveiled a trailer at the SGF 2025 Showcase and followed up with a brief teaser on Twitter today, which you can view below: The developer revealed that "Space combat (including X-Wings, TIE Fighters and even the dreaded Death Star) is the focus of the upcoming Fortnite event". Additionally, players can earn free and log-in rewards simply by logging in. With the Death Star Sabotage climax approaching, here are the exact start times for the Fortnite live event in your region: One hour prior to the event, the Death Star Sabotage tile will become available on the Discover tab. It's recommended to join as early as possible to avoid missing the 15-20 minute Fortnite live event, after which servers will be taken down for the next season update.

Death Star Sabotage Fortnite live event start time and what we know so far
The time has arrived to topple the Empire with the Death Star Sabotage Fortnite live event. It's time to bid adieu to a season filled with blasters, Wookies and the incessant fire from X-Wings, as the Fortnite Galactic Battle mini-season is on the brink of ending. The major Star Wars revamp for the game was a delightful surprise for players eager to pilot a Star Destroyer and become their own bounty hunter with a highly customisable Mandalorian skin. However, as the Chapter 6 Season 3 start date looms (yes, the Star Wars season wasn't a numbered entry so we're going into season 3 not 4) players are preparing for the leaked superhero season. Before we reach that point, there's the climactic Fortnite live event poised to bridge the gap between this season and its forthcoming downtime. The Death Star Sabotage event is set to give players the opportunity to rip the moon-sized weapon from the sky once and for all, foiling the Emperor's assumed destructive plans for the island. Details about what players will actually be doing are scarce, but we can make several assumptions about the gameplay that awaits us in the next Fortnite event. But when exactly does it start? Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Fortnite live event. The Death Star Sabotage Fortnite live event is set to kick off at , as confirmed by Epic Games in a recent tweet, revealing when we can anticipate joining the live event. The Fortnite live event will feature its own unique lobby where players will gather ahead of it being joinable. There won't be any re-runs, and the game will transition directly into its downtime once it's over. A fresh teaser trailer has been released via the Fortnite Twitter account, offering a snipper of sequences from the live event. It depicts players dashing into various parts of the Death Star, blasting lasers at Stormtroopers as they storm the base. We also catch a brief glimpse of gameplay featuring a player soaring towards the Death Star in a TIE Fighter, which is presumably how we'll actually board the space station. This was initially suggested by the key art of Fishstick in a Stormtrooper outfit emerging from the top of the spaceship, so it's reassuring to see that it'll be a crucial part of the experience. We can anticipate aerial battles on the ascent, as well as a significant showdown when we finally reach the Death Star. Regardless of what awaits, it's evident that this Fortnite live event is going to be a major one, and players are incredibly eager to thwart the Empire's schemes. We'll see you up there. How to find story quests in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 3
(Image Via Epic Games) Fortnite Galactic Battle is out now. It comes with 5 hidden story quests spread across the island. It blends the Star Wars storyline with exploration. To find them and unlock them, you will need to hunt for the clues (explore the map), interact with the iconic characters, and tackle all the unique challenges uncovered. Unlike the previous seasons, the missions are not just handed out automatically. Here is where to look and how to start each of the narrative-driven challenges. How to find story quests in Fortnite Galactic Battle Season Hidden Story Quests Guide (Data Log Locations, Broken Tie Fighter, General Grievous & More) Fortnite In the current season, the Fortnite Chapter 6 story quests are hidden across the island, marked by the green circles on the map. You will need to visit each of these zones and interact with the NPCs or specific objects to trigger the missions. While some require retrieving the items, other quests include piloting the ships or talking to characters like Poe Dameron or General Grievous. Rebel Data Log Entries To find it, head to the Rebel Outposts that are marked by the green circles on the map. It can be near Resistance Base or Burd to Go. Look for the glowing computers and then interact with them to Retrieve Data Log. Complete the action 4 times across varied locations/matches. Fortnite - Retrieve The Rebel Data Log Entry (Story Quests) Watch out for a very common glitch. If the computer freezes after interacting, it's suggested that the match be quit and restarted. Give priority to quieter outposts early in the game to avoid interruptions from enemy players. Bring General Grievous Jedi Padawan Lightsaber You can find General Grievous on the northeast of Rolling Blossoms Farm. He will ask you for the lightsaber, which needs tracking of Rey's hologram. Once the 1st story circle closes, check the map for the blue lightsaber icon and race for it before the others. How to EASILY Bring a Jedi Padawan Lightsaber to General Grievous Fortnite Interact with Ray's hologram to claim the lightsaber and then come back to Grievous. The quest will reward XP and tie it to the season's Sith vs. Jedi narrative. Destroy Structures using X-Wing Guns For it, visit Poe Dameron at Resistance Base, located south of the Lavish Lair. Accept the Flight Lessons quest from him and hop into the X-Wing. Make sure to aim for structures like trees, buildings, etc., and fire 25 times to complete the objective. *SECRET XP QUEST* Destroy Structures with X-Wing's Guns - Fortnite Found Story Quest Return back to Poe to earn a Legendary A280-CFE Blaster Rifle. You can revisit him in future matches for repeating quests for easier high-tier loot. Fix TIE Fighter on the south of Flooded Frogs Land at Revel Outpost, located south of the Flooded Frogs and interact with the computer near a broken TIE fighter. Collect the 3 fuel canisters (marked with the quest icons) that are scattered nearby and deposit them into the ship. Gather fuel and fix the TIE Fighter Fortnite Galactic Battle After the repair, you can pilot the TIE Fighter immediately. You can even return in the later matches to repeat the fights. It is ideal for the players who love to dominate the skies! Retrieve Stormtrooper Data Logs For it, visit Vader Samurai's Solitude, located northwest of the Redline Rig, and search the houses for the Stormtrooper computers. Then, interact with 4 of them across varied matches and finish the quest. Retrieve the stormtrooper Rebel Data Log Entry Fortnite (first, second, third and forth) Unlike the Rebel logs, these logs are concentrated in 1 area. It makes it faster but even riskier because of the enemy traffic. Drop here when there are less crowded match phases. It will help you avoid the early eliminations. Pro tips to find and complete story quests Land at the quest locations after the battle bus launch. Complete Rey's hologram lightsaber quest mid-game when there are fewer players around. TIE Fighter repair is valuable for the long term. Watch for the visual glitches at the computer terminals. The Resistance Base X-Wing quest will give the best reward—a legendary blaster. Pair the quests with the weekly challenges to maximize the XP gains. Keep an eye on the map updates, as Epic Games might add more story missions later on in the season. For now, focus on the above 5 quests for leveling up and piecing together a Galactic Battle narrative.
