My entire family loves this 'beautiful' wicker chair from Walmart — it's on sale right now
What I really wanted was a comfy chair that I could lounge in — which led me to the Better Homes & Gardens Wicker Chair from Walmart. As a mom of two young boys, these days, I'm lucky if I get 30 minutes to myself during the day to read. But when I do, this chair makes it feel extra magical. I've had it for a few months now, and I absolutely love it — and so do my kids. The best part? It's currently on sale — making it a great buy. Scroll down for my full review and to see why this has become my family's favourite.
Better Homes & Gardens Bellamy Outdoor Patio Round Wicker Chair
This patio chair is comfortable and unique.
The details
Summer rainstorms are no match for the all-weather design of this round wicker chair. With a faux wood finish on the legs, handwoven resin wicker and a rust-resistant steel frame, this comfortable chair is built to last. Just in case, it comes with a 3-year limited frame warranty.
The cushions are made with UV- and fade-resistant fabric. They're super easy to clean: just wipe the with a damp cloth and air dry.
The extra deep seat and super cozy cushions and pillows make this stylish chair a great spot for lounging.
What I like about it
Super comfortable: I tend to contort in weird positions when I read, and this chair provides all the support I need. I feel like I'm cocooned in my own little hideaway and can briefly escape the stresses of mom life.
Stain resistant: My kids are all about popsicles and ove to use any fabric as a napkin. I was pleasantly surprised to find any messes made by little hands came out with some warm water and elbow grease.
Stylish: I absolutely love how this chair combines form and function. It's no wonder it's flying off shelves.
Fun for the whole family: My kids love this chair so much and it comfortably — and safely — holds them both.
$348 $398 at Walmart
Room for improvement
Not the best for sun protection: If the sun is directly over the chair, there's just no way I can sit in it. I typically spend the most time in it later in the day.
Assembly is definitely required: I will be honest, there is nothing I enjoy less than putting together furniture. The directions were very straightforward, but it was a bit frustrating at times and took me much longer than I thought it would.
What other shoppers are saying
🛍️ 300+ reviews
⭐ 4.8/5 stars
🏅 "Sturdy and high quality"
One customer said this is a "great chair" — especially for the price — adding they're impressed with the "beautiful" and "heavy-duty" design.
The "sturdy" and "high quality" chair, rated for up to 350 pounds, is great for an adult or a "kid or two," added another reviewer.
$348 $398 at Walmart
Back problems? One person said the "extra deep seat" is "supportive enough" not to aggravate their back pain.
"A cutie on my patio," raved another reviewer.
However, some shoppers did echo my annoyance with setup, calling the chair a "pain to put together" and saying it's "easier with two people."
Some other shoppers also said that while the light coloured cushions are easy to clean, they'd love to see a darker colourway.
The verdict
The Better Homes & Gardens Bellamy Outdoor Patio Round Wicker Chair is a stylish, comfortable chair that makes a cute reading nook for any backyard or patio. It might be hard to believe, but those white cushions are actually super easy to clean. Plus, the fade and UV-resistant fabric means they'll last for many summers to come. Just don't expect the chair to provide much coverage from the sun; it's best to use it in a shady spot. And pro tip? Grab a friend to help lessen the annoyance of setup.

Klay Thompson Reveals How Being ‘in Love' with Megan Thee Stallion Has Upped His Golf Game
Klay Thompson has become better in more ways than one since making things official with Megan Thee Stallion. The Dallas Mavericks shooting guard, 35, recently planned a date at a nine-hole golf course with Megan, 30, that was chronicled on her Instagram and TikTok pages on Wednesday, July 23. The video begins with the rapper explaining that he let her choose her outfit. The basketball player went to Academy Sports + Outdoors to purchase a couple of options, which included a pink athletic skirt and a lavender collared t-shirt, as well as a black athletic skirt with a white t-shirt. The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! Megan ultimately chose the white shirt, paired with the pink skirt, while Thompson opted for black shorts, a baby blue collared t-shirt and a black hat that read "Protect your energy." After explaining that she had a meeting to attend before her date with Thompson, the video cut to a clip of the two riding in a golf cart driven by the NBA star. Thompson was then seen sitting on a bench while Megan pointed out fish in a lake. She then cuts to a closer look at her outfit as she tells Thompson, "You picked it? You think it's cute?" "Uh-huh. You even got the cute shoes on [and] the shirt. I did well," he says. "I'm really proud of myself." The two ultimately then start golfing, as Thompson jokes that he is Tiger Woods. After he hits a ball, the two go look for it to continue playing, and Thompson calls Megan his "good luck charm." Megan eventually attempts to hit a gold ball herself with Thompson guiding her every step of the way. The video ends with the two sharing a kiss, and Thompson declares that "ever since I've been in love, my golf game's reaped all the benefits." The couple first sparked romance rumors when Megan posted an Instagram photo with Thompson in the background in early July. On July 16, they made their red-carpet debut at the Inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Paging '90s Kids! Platform Flip-Flops Are Stomping Their Way Back in Style
Clunk, clunk, clunk. Do you hear that? That's the sound of an iconic '90s shoe stomping its way back into the fashion fray. Yes, I am talking about platform flip-flop. Is there a shoe more indicative of both '90s minimalism and Y2K excess? The sky-high sandal style trended throughout much of both decades, and while it was beachy and cute, it more ofter than not also caused you to roll your ankle. Its clunky nature and hefty weight, popularized by OG brands like Rocket Dog, was certainly not for everyone. But come summer 2025, it appears the polarizing sandal is being embraced once again—at least, that's what celebrities, runways, and street style stars are making the case for. Photo: Backgrid Sure, this season, you have likely already noticed that the humble flip-flop is having a moment—but the platform flip-flop is taking the movement to the next level (and quite literally—you have to learn to balance yourself on some of these new stacked platforms). Coach is selling an almost 4-inch high platform thong sandal; ERL just today unveiled a staggering 8-inch version that retails for $1,250. Meanwhile, Rocket Dog continues to sell its fun rainbow-hued version, and they are perfectly reminiscent of the kind of sandal you would see Hilary Duff rock in the year 2001. And yet: the platform also feels, somehow, relevant today. We have seen it on the recent spring 2025 catwalks at Sportmax, Alaïa, and Miu Miu. It feels modern not necessarily because of the shoe itself, and more because of the ways it is being styled. Take how this summer's crop of street style stars have dressed up the shoe at the recent shows. It feels surprisingly minimal when paired with a long, sophisticated coat, and dressy when juxtaposed against a structured blazer and below-the-knee dress. On vacation, Nicola Peltz styled hers in a breezy, nonchalant way, with a black tank and yellow paisley-print skirt. When you think of a platform flip-flop, you may expect it to be worn with a 2000s capri pant and bedazzled Ed Hardy tee. But the 2025 approach is clearly all about subduing it, and making it feel more refined and discrete. Consider it a summer fashion challenge: If everyone can elevate those $750 The Row flip-flops (Jennifer Lawrence and Zoë Kravitz are fans), surely you can make the platform flip-flop chic, too. Just start training those ankles—and don't trip!
