Someone in Massachusetts claimed a $100,000 lottery prize on Tuesday from a $2 scratch ticket game — leaving just one grand prize in the game.
The $100,000 prize was from '$100,000 Triple 333,' a $2 scratch ticket game released in January. Only one $100,000 prize and one $10,000 prize remain to be claimed in the game as of May 28.
The winning ticket was sold at Sumner Market in East Boston.
Two other $100,000 prizes were won during the 'Mass Cash' drawing on Tuesday. The winning numbers for the May 27 drawing were 3, 10, 19, 23 and 25.
One of the winning tickets was sold at the Roche Bros in Westwood, while the other was sold at a shop called Abington News in Abington.
Overall, at least 845 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Tuesday, including 22 in Springfield, 32 in Worcester and 93 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The two largest lottery prizes won so far in 2025 were each worth $15 million. One of the prizes was from a winning 'Diamond Deluxe' scratch ticket sold in Holyoke, and the other was from a '300X' scratch ticket sold on Cape Cod.

Mass. man sentenced after stealing alcohol, threatening storeowner with knife, DA says

A man from Greenfield was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to stealing alcohol from two Northampton package stores and threatening a store owner with a knife, according to Northwestern District Attorney David E. Sullivan's office. Keith Shaw, 49, pleaded guilty to charges of armed robbery and shoplifting in connection with incidents in June 2024 when he walked off with $165 worth of alcohol from one package store and $79 worth of alcohol at another, prosecutors said. Shaw was sentenced to three years in state prison on the armed robbery charge and a concurrent 1-year sentence in the Hampshire House of Correction on the shoplifting charge. 'The second incident escalated quickly from a shoplifting offense to an armed robbery when Mr. Shaw threatened the store owner with a knife,' Northwestern Assistant District Attorney Andrew Covington said. 'Fortunately, no one was injured.' Mass.
