Yahoo22-05-2025

If you are in the mood to see something that is absolutely beyond precious, then you must check out this video of the most adorable Wombat that you have ever seen catching a serious case of the zoomies while they are playing with their human.
As this video shows, these two are just having an absolute ball. And the way that this little Wombat runs back and forth is so totally precious.
They give off some serious playful puppy vibes. At one point, this adorable little Wombat basically does a dog trick, too, when they run right through their human's legs. It's almost like they are playing a game of tag, and this Wombat is it. In the end, this adorable little critter manages to tag their human, who scoops them up in his arms for some nice cuddles. Have you experienced your daily dose of cuteness overload yet?
As this other video shows, this curious little wombat's playful side doesn't end with catching a case of the zoomies; they also enjoy exploring human footwear, testing each individual shoe for "weaknesses" before their humans use them.
And of course, after performing such an integral service, this little Wombat is justly rewarded with some nice pets and scratches.
We can tell you that this precious little creature is welcome to test out our shoes anytime, and we will be more than happy to reward them with all kinds of the best scratches and pets!

Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up' Passes 1 Billion Spotify Streams

Rick Astley's 1987 hit song 'Never Gonna Give You Up' has passed 1 billion streams on Spotify — 38 years after the song debuted. The feat is even more noteworthy given that the song was released more than 20 years before Spotify launched. 'Thanks to streaming platforms, a whole new generation has been able to discover music like mine. Reaching 1 billion streams is something I never dreamed of and to everyone who's ever listened, thank you.' The song became a hit upon its initial release, reaching No. 1 on more than 20 international charts, including spending five weeks at the top of the charts in the U.K. and two weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100. However, the tune reached a new generation in later years thanks to the Rickrolling phenomenon, which went viral circa 2007. A brief explainer, if you have somehow managed to avoid this until now: Rickrolling is a joke played online on unsuspecting folks who click on a hyperlink about anything unrelated to Astley only to be taken to the music video for the song. 'Never Gonna Give You Up' was certified platinum in the U.K. in 2020 and went double platinum three years later; it was certified five times platinum in the U.S. Meanwhile, the video has been watched 1.6 billion times on YouTube. Astley had a string of other hits in the late '80s, including 'Together Forever,' 'It Would Take a Strong Strong Man' and 'She Wants to Dance With Me.' He retired from the music business in 1993 to spend time with family but mounted a comeback in 2016 with the album 50, which hit No. 1 in the U.K. He performed at the Glastonbury Festival in 2023 as well as other venues around the world. In 2024, he released a memoir, Never: The Autobiography. Watch the music video for 'Never Gonna Give You Up' below. MrBeast Borrowing Money From His Mom to Pay for Wedding

YouTube megastar Jimmy Donaldson, a.k.a. MrBeast, posted on X that he's borrowing money from his mom to pay for his wedding to Thea Booysen. He's the top YouTuber in the world with 400 million subscribers, but his mom is still paying for his wedding. So why does 27-year-old Jimmy Donaldson, a.k.a. MrBeast, need to borrow cash for his upcoming nuptials to YouTuber Thea Booysen? Posting on X, Donaldson explained, "I personally have very little money because I reinvest everything." I personally have very little money because I reinvest everything (I think this year we'll spend around a quarter of a billion on content). Ironically i'm actually borrowing $ from my mom to pay for my upcoming wedding lol But sure, on paper the businesses I own are worth a lot. — MrBeast (@MrBeast) June 2, 2025 Hard to say if he is being tongue-in-cheek about it. Donaldson goes on to write, "But sure, on paper the business I own are worth a lot," and there's nothing ambiguous about that. Bloomberg reports that Beast Industries made over $400 million last year and is raising money at a $5 billion valuation to found a holding company to own and control all of his businesses, including the chocolate brand Feastables, the snack business Lunchly, and his video production company. In 2024, he launched "Beast Games," an Amazon Prime-exclusive game show with a $100 million budget. The show faced financial troubles — during an appearance on the podcast Diary of a CEO, Donaldson explained that the show went way over budget and that he had to spend "tens of millions" of his own money to cover the difference. Hopefully, he didn't call his mom for help with that bill. Season Two of Beast Games does not yet have a release date, but if you think you have what it takes to take on their next bonkers challenge, you can apply here to compete. How to watch Sony's State of Play at Summer Game Fest

To view this content, you'll need to update your privacy settings. Please click here and view the "Content and social-media partners" setting to do so. Summer Game Fest week just got even busier. Sony is throwing its own party on Wednesday, June 5 at 5PM in the form of a State of Play. The stream will showcase "must-play" PS5 games from developers based around the world and you can watch it on on YouTube or Twitch . To make things even easier for you, you can watch it right here by clicking the big red button above when the time is right. (English subtitled and Japanese versions of the State of Play will be available too.) The State of Play will run for over 40 minutes, so there should be a bunch of games included. Sony hasn't given any hints as to what it will show off as yet, but it'll surely be worth checking out the stream. We learned about some interesting projects in the last State of Play, such as the very tasty-sounding Soros from Returnal studio Housemarque. There's always a chance that Sony will show up at Summer Game Fest Live on Friday, June 6, to reveal something else off. With this State of Play, Sony is padding out a packed SGF schedule that includes what is routinely Xbox's biggest showcase of the year on Sunday, June 8. And then there's also the little matter of the Nintendo Switch 2's arrival on June 5. It's shaping up to be a fun, if very busy, week.
