What TV channel is Saints vs. Chargers on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL preseason game
The New Orleans Saints finally get to play some football this Sunday, as they open the preseason against the L.A. Chargers -- the former team of both Kellen Moore and Brandon Staley. While the preseason is typically viewed as an audition for players on the fringe of the roster, things feel a bit different this year in New Orleans. The quarterback battle between Spencer Rattler, Tyler Shough, and -- to a lesser extent -- Jake Haener, will take center stage over the next three games. These matchups will likely determine who leads the offense out of the huddle Week 1 against Arizona. Sunday's opener in L.A. will be a must-watch for Saints fans. NASCAR at Watkins Glen 2025: Start time, TV, streaming, lineup for Go Bowling at The Glen
We're inching closer to the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs after another thrilling race last weekend in Iowa. Championship points leader William Byron saved enough fuel to outlast the rest of the field to win a caution-filled race at Iowa Speedway. Brad Keselowski swept the first two stages of a race for the first time since 2017 but couldn't get past Byron for the win. After a three-race stretch of oval running, the Cup Series grid makes its way to a road course once again this weekend at Watkins Glen International. The iconic road course is the fifth of six non-ovals on the schedule this season. WATKINS GLEN: Connor Zilisch breaks collarbone celebrating Xfinity Series win The drivers are very familiar with circuit in the Finger Lakes area of New York; NASCAR's been racing there since 1986 with one exception in 2020. Trackhouse racing driver Shane van Gisbergen – who's won the last three races held on road or street courses – may have some closer competition this weekend thanks to the familiar venue. And at least a few winless drivers have circled this race on their calendars, including past Watkins Glen winners Chris Buescher and AJ Allmendinger. How to watch Lynx vs. Liberty: Injuries put new stars in the spotlight for WNBA Rivals Week
A premier WNBA Rivals Week showdown begins in Brooklyn. The league-leading Minnesota Lynx visit the defending champion New York Liberty at 12:30 p.m. ET this Sunday. Minnesota arrives without MVP front-runner Napheesa Collier, who sprained her right ankle on Aug. 2 and is expected to miss at least two weeks. Meanwhile, New York counters with its own hole in the marquee: Breanna Stewart is out indefinitely with a right knee bone bruise. Still, there's plenty of reason to tune in to this WNBA Finals rematch. How to watch Minnesota Lynx at New York Liberty Venue: Barclays Center — Brooklyn Time: 12:30 p.m. ET, Sunday TV: ABC Streaming: Fubo (Save $20) Watching in person? Get tickets on StubHub. Live coverage is also available on ESPN+. Without Collier, Minnesota coach Cheryl Reeve will stretch Kayla McBride from three and lean on Courtney Williams in the middle third, with Jessica Shepard and Alanna Smith owning the glass. The Lynx also recently acquired DiJonai Carrington from Dallas for Diamond Miller, Karlie Samuelson and a 2027 second-round pick, a defense-minded move that only strengthens their top-ranked unit. The Liberty have won three in a row since halting a four-game slide. Sabrina Ionescu dropped 36 points and 11 rebounds at Connecticut on Aug. 3. Former WNBA Finals MVP Emma Meesseman also chipped in 13 points, two blocks and a steal in her second game as New York followed with an 85-76 win against Dallas, the first of two straight victories over the Wings. The hinge is simple: finish possessions and value the ball. If New York controls the defensive glass and runs McBride off rhythm catch-and-shoots, it tilts home. If Minnesota wins the turnover game and frees Carrington in transition, it travels. This is the first Barclays meeting since last year's Finals and the second of four total matchups between these two this season. The Lynx play three straight against the Liberty from Aug. 10-19, while New York has five total games over that same stretch.
