Kanpur: An event was organised at Etawah Safari Park on the occasion of World Lion Day on Sunday. This event was celebrated at the Nature Interpretation Centre. 1 2 Kanpur: On the day of Raksha Bandhan , the Etawah Safari authorities facilitated bonding of lion cub Kripa with other cubs for its health and well being. Lioness Roopa's cub, Kripa, was introduced to lioness Neerja and its cubs on Saturday. Kripa was taken from the neonatal house to the breeding centre where cubs Ajju, Jaya, Aashi, and lioness Neerja's three cubs are being taken care of. Kripa was joyful on seeing the three lion cubs. This heart-warming initiative shows the importance of fostering connections not just among humans, but also among animals. Rakshabandhan celebrated with enthusiasm in city

While sisters tied the pious thread on the wrists of their brothers, city temples also turned into hubs of devotion as devotees tied rakhis to deities to celebrate Rakshabandhan. Prominent temples witnessed heavy footfall, with worshippers arriving in large numbers to seek blessings. Across Sangam City, the prime markets bustled with festive energy.
