Skims taps Roberto Cavalli for luxury swimwear collaboration
Launching under the Skims Swim banner, the new collaboration comes inspired by the "Euro Summer", and combines Roberto Cavalli 's bold, animal prints with the U.S shapewear brand's body-enhancing swimwear, alongside billowy chiffon cover-ups and other accessories.
All items are marked by three archival Cavalli prints: Fagianella, Light Zebra, and Tiger Face, with each piece crafted in Skims' supportive fabrics, across an inclusive size range from XXS to 4X.
"Unveiling such a luxurious collection with Roberto Cavalli is incredibly exciting. I've always admired the brand's exotic prints and bold energy, and bringing that vision to life through Skims Swim allowed us to create something truly unexpected and elevated,' said Kim Kardashian, co-founder and chief creative officer, Skims.
'We paired Cavalli's most iconic prints with our signature swim silhouettes to deliver a sexy collection that empowers every body to own swim season, no matter where they vacation.'
The accompanying campaign, lensed by photographer Nadia Lee Cohen, stars Kardashian herself sporting a cropped blonde wig wearing the collab's Scoop Neck One Piece in Tiger Face Print in one image, while the influencer-turned-entrepreneur's mother, Kris Jenner, also stars, in the same shot donning matching floor-length cover-up in a striking tiger print.
"We're thrilled to introduce the Roberto Cavalli and Skims collection to the world. Collaborating with Skims on this glamorous, bold collection of swimwear has been a remarkable experience. To me, Kim is a modern Marilyn Monroe, she is the pop icon, she inspires me so much.' shared Fausto Puglisi, creative director of Roberto Cavalli, which was founded by its namesake designer in Florence, in 1970.
'Our brands are iconic in their own distinct ways, and we've meticulously blended archival prints with modern, functional design to create a collection that embodies the essence of Italian luxury.'
The Roberto Cavalli X Skims collaboration will be available for purchase on June 27, in-store and online at Skims, at select Roberto Cavalli boutiques, and via top luxury retailers, including Printemps New York.

Jimmy Kimmel confirms Italian citizenship as Trump targets opponents
Celebrated American comedian and talk show host Jimmy Kimmel has revealed he has obtained Italian citizenship, following Donald Trump's comments that Kimmel's show could be 'next' on the chopping block after CBS cancelled Stephen Colbert's show. Kimmel, a longtime critic of Trump, referred to his dual citizenship during an appearance on The Sarah Silverman Podcast. 'I did get Italian citizenship,' Kimmel shared – something which was confirmed by Italian news agency Ansa, who said that he obtained Italian citizenship this year after proving his ancestral lineage. He noted that several American A-listers – including Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O'Donnell - had also sought dual citizenship considering the current state of affairs in the US, with Trump targeting media personalities who don't politically align with him and are vocally critical of his administration. 'What's going on is… as bad as you thought it was gonna be, it's so much worse. It's just unbelievable. I feel like it's probably even worse than [Trump] would like it to be.' Kimmel has often criticised Trump in monologues on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live!. He has also spoken out against the president when hosting the Oscars, memorably fueling their feud in 2024 by reading out Trump's criticism of the ceremony before the announcement of Best Picture. Trump posted on Truth Social during the ceremony and called Kimmel a bad host, to which Kimmel responded: 'Well, thank you President Trump. Thank you for watching, I'm surprised you're still up – isn't it past your jail time?' The host has also referred to Trump as 'Commander-In-Thief", 'His MAGA-Sty", 'Jabba The Pizza Hut' and 'The Shart of the Deal' - in reference to Trump's book, 'The Art of the Deal'. Une publication partagée par Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) The news of Kimmel's dual citizenship comes after the bombshell news that CBS was ending The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which pulls no punches when it comes to slamming Trump. In a press conference last week, Trump stated: '(Jimmy) Fallon has no talent. Kimmel has no talent. They're next. They're going to be going. I hear they're going to be going. I don't know, but I would imagine because they'd get — you know, Colbert has better ratings than Kimmel or Fallon.' Trump doubled down in a Truth Social post: 'Next up will be an even less talented Jimmy Kimmel, and then, a weak, and very insecure, Jimmy Fallon. The only real question is, who will go first?' Kimmel fired back with an Instagram post referencing Trump's friendship with convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein: 'I'm hearing you're next. Or maybe it's just another wonderful secret' - a reference to a line in a letter to Epstein that Trump has denied writing that expresses hope that 'every day be another wonderful secret.' A post shared by Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) Kimmel's fellow comedian Rosie O'Donnell recently shared fears that the show The View would also be axed for not bowing down to Trump. O'Donnell, who was a host on the show from 2006 to 2007 and has frequently feuded with Trump, wrote: 'You know what I just read today? ABC is 'reviewing the liberal bias' on 'The View'. The show with five women speaking their own opinions. That's the threat now. They say they're not cancelling it, they're just 'reviewing the bias,' which is code for – we're gonna cancel it, we're just trying to soften you up first.' The comedian moved to Ireland after Trump was re-elected, and has faced threats from Trump over her US citizenship. Kimmel has hosted the ABC late-night comedy show Jimmy Kimmel Live! for 22 years. The current contract for the show runs out in 2026.

Fendi opens its first store in Cancun
Fendi opened its first boutique in Cancun on July 31, adding a new key destination as it expands in the Mexican market. Located in the La Isla complex, the store measures more than 179 square metres and was designed to integrate the aesthetic legacy of the Italian fashion house with references to the Mexican Caribbean. The store's façade is highlighted by three-dimensional handmade tile cladding in the shape of palm leaves, a choice that creates a fusion between European savoir-faire and elements of local identity. Inside, the boutique offers an immersive experience: Italian marble, warm wood, and textures that hark back to the brand's origins in Rome are combined with a contemporary layout. The space is conceptualised to connect itself with the environment without losing the visual codes that distinguish Fendi. The store houses leather goods, footwear and a selection of ready-to-wear for women and men, curated especially for the season. The setting reinforces this vision with a visual proposal adapted to the destination, without renouncing the sophistication that characterises the historic brand. In addition to the new location in Cancun, Fendi operates in Mexico through its flagship store in Artz Pedregal and four shop-in-shops in El Palacio de Hierro: two in Mexico City (Polanco and Santa Fe), one more in Monterrey, and another in Guadalajara. The country is also home to the only Fendi Casa boutique in Latin America.
