Oregon has set the pace in Iheanacho's recruitment and the Ducks could be tough to beat regardless, but a big visit is coming up this weekend.

The five-star offensive tackle from North Bethesda (Md.) Georgetown Prep is heading back to LSU and the Tigers are a very serious threat in his recruitment especially because of his relationship with position coach Brad Davis.
Texas A&M has an outside shot as well, while Maryland and Penn State haven't been eliminated yet.
Prediction: Oregon
The five-star offensive tackle from Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge has had an interesting official visit schedule with Colorado, Ole Miss, Texas Tech and Florida already done and this weekend is a major trip to Ohio State.
If there is a major threat to Texas, it would be the Buckeyes so his weekend trip to Columbus will be crucial over the next few days. But the Longhorns still have the lead, Austin is less than three hours away and his relationship with position coach Kyle Flood are all playing significant roles here.

Prediction: Texas
Ohio State offered but it might be too late. Brown will be at Miami this weekend and that could get interesting fast. But this still feels very much like a two-team race between LSU and Texas A&M and heading into June, the Aggies hold the lead.
Brown is from Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab, literally on LSU's campus, so the Tigers are not going to give up easily especially after losing five-star safety Blaine Bradford from Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic to Ohio State.
But it seems as if Texas A&M has taken the lead for Brown – selling him on playing on the defensive line – and that could be a big factor.

Prediction: Texas A&M
A whole bunch of visits have already happened and many more are to come but LSU is believed to have turned the corner here and is now the team to beat in Gray's recruitment.
South Carolina will battle until the end and will be right there until decision day for the four-star from Richmond (Va.) St. Christopher's. Ohio State, Tennessee and others will be in the mix as well. This is a tough call because so much could still happen and he loves the coaches in Columbia, but LSU seems to have a little more pull.
Prediction: LSU
A battle between Texas and Texas A&M is raging for the four-star offensive lineman from Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley but the Longhorns are leading right now.

That could continue even if Texas keeps Maximus Wright and Nicolas Robertson (which is expected) and even adds five-star Felix Ojo. But if Ojo jumps on board then that might help the Aggies with Turntine, too. That's a wait-and-see game but right now the Longhorns are looking strongest.
Prediction: Texas

Yordan Alvarez's return delayed by newly discovered hand fracture
HOUSTON — Yordan Alvarez's hand injury is worse than it originally appeared. The Houston slugger felt pain in his right hand on Friday while hitting and a small fracture that was previously believed to be a muscle strain was discovered. The fracture is about 60% healed. General manager Dana Brown said he believes the fracture in Alvarez's fourth metacarpal wasn't discovered in initial imaging on May 6 because there was too much inflammation and fluid. Alvarez has been out since May 3 with the injury. They had hoped he could come off the injured list this weekend. 'The immediate plan for him right now is to just let it rest,' Brown said. 'And he'll still continue to do other baseball activity like the running, he could probably go out in the outfield and catch. He can do everything else except for pick up a bat. And so, we don't even want him hitting off tees even though he feels good enough to hit off a tee. Just let it heal completely and then you'll be back.' Since Friday's imaging showed that the fracture was already more than halfway healed, Brown doesn't believe it will keep him out too much longer. 'We're hopeful that because he's healed so much that ... he'll be back sooner rather than later,' Brown said. Alvarez was asked when he expects to return. 'I wish I had a magic ball to tell you,' he said in Spanish through a translator. 'The good news is that it's healing well, but I need rest because the fact that I was keeping on doing swings, it was taking it back, taking it (longer) to heal.' Brown added that they think the fracture occurred when Alvarez tried to play through the initial muscle strain. Brown said he played for almost two weeks after initially noticing the problem before the first imaging was done. 'The muscle strain was real,' Brown said. 'I really think that when he was fighting through those weeks knowing that it wasn't the same feeling as some of his hand problems in the past ... maybe that's when he may have caused a little bit more damage.' Alvarez hit .210 with three home runs and 18 RBIs in 29 games this season before landing on the injured list.

Previewing the 2025 season for Penn State DE Enai White with his player profile
Previewing the 2025 season for Penn State DE Enai White with his player profile Going into the 2025 football season, Nittany Lions Wire will examine each player listed on the Penn State roster. Over the preseason, each profile will cover the player's background, how recruiting websites rated them coming out of high school, and what role they will play for James Franklin this season. Defensive end Enai White was a member of Texas A&M's historic 2022 recruiting class, which still ranks as the best class of all time per the 247Sports rankings. White had a promising start to his college career but sustained a knee injury midway through the 2023 season, which kept him sidelined for all but one game in 2024. After three seasons with the Aggies, he entered the transfer portal and landed at Penn State, where he's seemingly recovered. Here's a look at Kemajou entering the 2025 season. Preseason Player Profile Hometown: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Height: 6-5 Weight: 264 lb Class in 2025: Redshirt junior Recruiting Rankings Class of 2022: Consensus 4-star recruit, No. 47 player, No. 4 edge rusher and No. 2 Pennsylvania native, per 247Sports White, a near 5-star recruit and one of Pennsylvania's top talents, was brought back to the Keystone State by Franklin through the transfer portal, continuing the trend of returning in-state players like Julian Fleming from Ohio State and Nolan Rucci from Wisconsin. Career Stats Games Tackles Tackles for loss Sacks Forced fumbles 2022 7 8 2 1 0 2023 5 3 1 1 0 2024 1 0 0 0 0 Depth Chart Overview The two-deep at defensive end is expected to consist of Dani Dennis-Sutton, Zuriah Fisher, Max Granville and Jaylen Harvey, but if there's one player who could throw a wrench into that, it's White. His recruiting pedigree and early trajectory at Texas A&M indicate he could be a contributor, but his injury status is a major question mark. For what it's worth, White appeared in the Blue-White Game, signifying at least some level of health.
