All Coronation Street videos for next week as legend stages his return
The moment Coronation Street fans have long waited for is almost upon us, as confirmed in my new spoiler videos, with Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas) staging a comeback in time for Eileen's (Sue Cleaver) goodbye.
The former show favourite, who last dwelled on the cobbles in 2016, walks through the doors of the Rovers Return just in time to save mum Eileen after George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) gets down on one knee.
In addition to Jason's return, fans can also expect a showdown between Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey).
Will the truth about Kit seemingly being Brody's dad come to light?
Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), meanwhile, is not only intent on protecting boyfriend Theo (James Cartwright), he's also on hand to offer some advice to George, who – ahead of the proposal – worries about if he has a future with Eileen.
If all this sounds right up your street – see what I did there? – then you're in luck as I've got three brand new teaser clips to tide you over until your next visit to the cobbles.

Kit returns to his flat to find the whole place turned upside down. Brody, who is still on the property, is to blame. The teen berates Kit for his role in Mick's murder charge, claiming all coppers are corrupt.
Kit assures him that Mick did what he's accused of but Brody refuses to believe it, prompting quite the showdown between the two.

At Julie's wake, George gets down on one knee and asks Eileen to marry him. The impromptu proposal takes Eileen aback – but there's an even bigger shock in store as Jason enters the Rovers.
Delighted to see her son, Eileen leaps to her feet and gives him a hug. George, meanwhile, sits in shock, wondering what Eileen's lack of answer means.

Joe Tate's torment of Billy continues as he makes vile accusation in Emmerdale
It doesn't look like any hatchets will be buried for Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) or Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) anytime soon in Emmerdale – except in each other's backs. Billy has got the absolute measure of evil Joe and is desperately trying to get his family away from him. Clemmie became so full of hatred for Joe that she called social services and said she was afraid of him, such was her desire to have him gone and her family back together. She later said this was a lie, but she wasn't done trying to get him gone. Clemmie later went missing on Joe's watch and turned up at Sam Dingle's (James Hooton) where she told Joe to his face how much she hated him. Seeing his kids so distraught, Billy wants rid of Joe, which is a real pain in Joe's side. In a bid to numb said pain, Joe tried a different tact, attempting to buy Billy off with the promise of a decent job in Liverpool – telling him he'd live away five days a week and see the kids at weekends. Billy saw right through this and emphatically rebuffed Joe's offer as the unscrupulous businessman branded him a loser, which was met with a swift and painful shove from his wheelchair. But though Clemmie said she'd lied about being afraid of Joe, she still hates him. Later, while under his care, she went missing on purpose to cause more trouble, causing Billy to demand that Dawn leave Home Farm for their children's safety. Sue Cleaver reflects on '25 years of laughs' after Coronation Street exit
Eileen Grimshaw had a special send-off during Friday's episode of the soap, where she was seen leaving for Thailand alongside her son Jason Grimshaw, played by Ryan Thomas. Simon Gregson's character Steve McDonald, Tony Maudsley's George Shuttleworth, and Eileen's son Todd, played by Gareth Pierce, all said goodbye to the matriarch before drivers from the local taxi firm honked their horns as she was driven off. In an Instagram post, Cleaver said: 'Well… that's a wrap. 25 years of laughs, tears, costumes, chaos — and one unforgettable journey. A post shared by Sue Cleaver (@officialsuecleaver) 'I'll miss this character like crazy, but what a ride it's been. Thank you for every moment.' Cleaver has played the outspoken and uncomplicated Eileen in the ITV show since 2000. Eileen came to Weatherfield to work at the local taxi firm, Streetcars, to provide for her two tearaway teenage children, Jason and Todd. She soon became friends with her boss Steve and came into conflict with Helen Worth's character Gail Rodwell (also known as Gail Platt). Cleaver took part in I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2022, where she opened up about reconciling with her birth mother, and was eliminated third. She also said her family is 'bizarrely interconnected' to other Coronation Street stars, including Worth who is godmother to one of her half-sisters, while her other half-sister's husband, John Bowe, appeared on the cobbles as Duggie Ferguson. In 2024, she released a book A Work In Progress in which she discusses how she feels she is not past her prime. In recent years she has appeared as a panellist on ITV chat show Loose Women.
