She added: "I have been tortured so much in the last 4-5 years that it has taken a toll on my health. I am not able to do anything, my house is a mess. I cannot even hire maids because they planted maids in my house...I had such bad experiences with maids, coming in and stealing and doing all kinds of things."
"I am being troubled in my own house, please someone help me," she says at the end of the video.
Tanushree later shared another video in which some noises can be heard in the background. "I have also dealt with loud noises like this and other very loud banging noises above my roof and outside my door almost every day at odd hours since 2020," she wrote in the caption. "I got tired of complaining to the building management and gave up a few years ago. Now I just live with it and put headphones with Hindu mantras to distract my mind and keep my sanity. Today I was so unwell, as you guys know I have developed Chronic fatigue syndrome due to dealing with constant stress and anxiety for last 5 years, and this was going on all day and evening, way past acceptable and allowed hours."

Tanushree accused actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment in 2018. It played a key role in sparking the #MeToo movement in India. She also claimed that filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had instructed her to "remove clothes and dance" during a scene with Irrfan Khan in the film Chocolate. Nana Patekar was later given a clean chit in the case, while Agnihotri publicly denied the allegations.

How Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's Saiyaara became one of biggest Bollywood films of the year

A Bollywood love story with a moderate budget and two fresh faces is taking the Indian box office by storm, becoming one of the year's top-grossing films in just two weeks. Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri, features debutant Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in the lead. The film, which was released on July 18, was made on a budget of approximately 60 crore (600 million) rupees, according to Financial Express. It has already collected more than 327 crore (3.2 billion) rupees at the box office, making it the second-highest grossing Indian film of the year, behind the blockbuster Chhaava, which was released in February. What is Saiyaara about? Saiyaara centres around an emotionally-unstable rising musician Krish (Panday) who forms a deep connection with a shy poet Vaani, played by Padda. It is loosely based on the 2004 South Korean film A Moment to Remember, about a couple whose relationship is tested after marriage. Director Suri is known his emotionally-charged romantic films, from Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain. What are critics and audiences saying about the film? Saiyaara has received generally positive reviews from film critics, many praising Panday and Padda's performances. The film seems to have struck a chord with Gen Z audiences with many of them sharing clips of themselves on social media crying and cheering in the cinema. One viral clip even showed a fan watching the film with an IV drip hooked to his hand. Film trade analyst Komal Nahta even called Saiyaara a 'modern-day DDLJ ', comparing it to the 1995 love story, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, a massive box office success considered one of the greatest romantic Bollywood films. 'Some may find what I'm going to say here outrageous,' Nahta posted on X the week of Saiyaara 's release. 'But I've always spoken business, and so here I am: Looking to the fact that today's collections would surpass Friday's record-smashing collections and today's footfalls will be more than Saturday's, I feel inclined to say that YRF and Mohit Suri's Saiyaara is turning out to be Aditya Chopra and YRF's modern-day DDLJ.' The film's soundtrack, featuring songs by hitmakers Mithoon and Tanishk Bagchi among others, have also become massive hits. As of Monday afternoon, the film's title song, Saiyaara, has garnered more than 150 million views on YouTube. Many have also credited the film's success to its deliberately low-key marketing by producer and distributor Yash Raj Films, foregoing conventional promotional routes or using star power to hype up interest in the film – instead using word of mouth and social media reactions to create buzz. Who are Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda? The cousin of actress Ananya Panday and the nephew of actor Chunky Ahaan Panday, has acting pedigree. His sister, Alanna Panday, is a YouTube star, while his mother Deanne Panday, is a known wellness coach, having author several popular health books. His father, Chikki Panday, is a businessman and Chunky's brother. Padda, meanwhile, is a former model, best known for her role in the 2024 Prime Video series Big Girls Don't Cry. Originally from Punjab, Padda is also a singer and songwriter. Saiyaara is her first major film role.

Dulquer Salmaan turns 42: From 'Ustad Hotel' to 'Lucky Baskhar', a look at his iconic movies

Actor Dulquer Salmaan, popularly known as DQ, turned 42 on July 28. Known for his hits across Indian languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, Salmaan has explored various roles, be it a die-hard romantic, a ruthless gangster and everything in between. Some of the most prominent hits Salmaan has delivered include the Malayalam hits Ustad Hotel, Charlie, Bangalore Days, the Tamil and Telugu romantic flicks O Kadhal Kanmani (remade as OK Jaanu in Hindi) and Sita Ramam, the thriller drama Lucky Baskhar and the acclaimed Netflix series Guns and Gulaabs. Son of the veteran actor Mammootty, Salmaan is a nepo kid, but he has the effort and the hits to show alongside his name. Let's take a look at some of his biggest hits, across languages. 'Ustad Hotel' The movie that marked Salmaan's arrival on the big stage, aided by a stellar cast that packs a hefty cinematic punch. Directed by Anjali Menon, Ustad Hotel often ranks among movie lists that people tend to revisit. Salmaan plays Faizi, a sous chef educated abroad who discovers the bond with his grandfather when he decides to work at the latter's restaurant and help revive it. In addition, Salmaan goes on a journey of self discovery. Menen, Thilakan and Salmaan bring to life their wonderfully written roles in this feel-good Malayalam movie that was a box-office hit and wowed critics. 'Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi' This road adventure Malayalam film has acquired cult status over the years. Two friends (Dulquer Salmaan and Sunny Wayne) go on a road trip across India, from the south to the north-east, and the experiences along the way shape them. Poignant and entertaining, the movie directed by Sameer Thahir is often credited with the rise of the biker culture in the south Indian state of Kerala. 'Bangalore Days' For long considered the bellwether of feel-good movies in Malayalam, Anjali Menon's Bangalore Days (2014) featured an array of stars — Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Parvathy Thiruvothu — and an engaging story of three cousins who move from Kerala to Bengaluru. Salmaan plays Aju, who starts off on the wrong foot with his brother-in-law (played by a restrained Faasil), but finds love and destiny in the city. Salmaan, Nazim and Pauly portray the affectionate cousins in this heartwarming tale of people discovering roots in the metro. 'O Kadhal Kanmani' Directed by Mani Ratnam, this 2015 Tamil movie saw Salmaan paired alongside Nithya Menen once again and was praised for its charming and realistic portrayal of present-day romance. Salmaan plays Adhi, a video-game developer who falls head over heels with Tara (Menen) in Mumbai. The two clearly like each other but want to prioritise their careers, and grapple with questions like live-in relationship or marriage. Aside from Salmaan and Menen's performances, OK Kanmani is also remembered for AR Rahman's effervescent music score. 'Lucky Baskhar' One of Salmaan's biggest hits, the Telugu movie sees him portray Baskhar, a banker from the early 1990s, who wants to break free of middle-class living. Salmaan's character moves into the grey moral zone, ready to bend rules and turn the blind eye if it means buying fancy goods for his school-going kid and supporting his wife's business. Directed by Venky Atluri, Lucky Baskhar boasts an ensemble cast, including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Tinnu Anand, Sai Kumar and Ramki, and is best known for it realistic portrayal of Mumbai in the 1990s (think the Premier Padmini taxis, the Harshad Mehta financial scandal, among others) and a riveting finale. Other honourable mentions: Comrade in America (Malayalam), Kamaatipaadam (Malayalam) Charlie (Malayalam), Sita Ramam (Telugu), Karvaan (Hindi), Vaayai Moodi Pesavum (Tamil), Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal (Tamil).
