FESTI FOOLS Wild price of toast at Glastonbury festival and food prices revealed as revellers feel 'ripped off'
FURIOUS Glastonbury fans have slammed the "ridiculous" price of food and drink at this year's festival.
Festivalgoers have been sharing videos online of what's on offer at the Worthy Farm event's hundreds of food stalls, with some charging £14 for chips and £2 for "half a slice of toast".

Yesterday, The Sun revealed the cost of a pint at this year's festival, which kicked off on Wednesday and is set to welcome over 200,000 fans, is between £6.95 and £7.20 - up a maximum of 40p since last year.
A festivalgoer from Manchester, known as robbie.reviews on social media, posted a video to TikTok reviewing some French toast he'd bought for breakfast at the festival.
The "classic French toast" with maple syrup costs £6, but with just three half slices of toast included, one user pointed out that the stall is charging £2 for half a slice of toast.
"£2 for half a slice of toast, festivals are wild," they wrote.
Another said: "That's Glastonbury for ya....", while another user argued that "anything under £10 is ok" at the festival.
Elsewhere, food trucks have been spotted selling "loaded fries" for £14, toasted sandwiches for £10, and Mac and Cheese for up to £16.
Another reveller, known as BoSFinesse, posted a video to TikTok of a burger he got at Glastonbury this week - with some of his followers pointing out the "eye-watering" price of £15.
"Burgers are coming in at anywhere between 10 to 15 quid a pop, which is pretty much the average price of a meal anywhere at the festival" he said in the video, adding: "So be prepared to remortgage your house for this one."
One follower replied: "15 f***ing quid...", while another said the prices at the festival were "ridiculous".
"I'm sure I had one of these at an event a few weeks ago, the price was indeed eye watering but it was absolutely bloody delish!," another follower wrote.
One follower fumed: "Why is it 15 quid... rent cannot be much... just ripping people off."

However, Glastonbury has also been offering a £6 meal deal option since 2015, which is available at more than 250 stalls at the festival.
It comes as prices at the festival's on-site bars caused a stir among fans earlier in the week, with some dubbing the costs "absolutely disgusting".
A double shot of spirit with a mixer will set you back an astonishing £13, while pints of draught beer and cider cost between £6.95 and £7.20.
Glastonbury bar prices
Here's the breakdown of prices at Glastonbury:
Burrow Hill Cider - £6.50
Brothers Festival Cider - £6.95
Brooklyn Pilsner - £6.95
Stonewall Inn IPA - £7.20
Spirits&Mixers (double) - £12.90
Spirit&Red Bull (double) - £13.90
Wine (175ml) - £7.95
Soft drinks - £3
Red Bull - £5
Burrow Hill is best value pint on the menu this year, coming to £1.91 per unit.
Festivalgoers have also pointed out the huge premium being slapped on wine at the event, with organisers charging £32 for a bottle of wine that can be bought for less than than £10 from some retailers.
As photos of the on-site bar menu emerged on social media earlier this week, one fan commented on X: "Imagine paying over £300 for Glastonbury tickets to be told it's a further £32 for an £8 bottle of wine. 🤪 don't give festivals your coin it's a proper scam."
Some came to the defence of the festival bars, saying that the prices are "not bad".
One fan wrote: "That's not bad considering it's a festival."
Another person said: "Still cheaper than some pubs I've been to."
The Sun has contacted Glastonbury for comment.
Stars will take to the stage at the iconic festival from today, June 27, to June 29, with this year's headliners including The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo.

Gary Lineker attends niece Tia's lavish wedding as fallout with brother Wayne eases

The brothers have reunited on two occasions this summer FEUD OVER? Back in June, Gary appeared to put his feud with brother Wayne to one side as they partied at a family wedding in Ibiza - and now they have taken yet another step towards putting their rift to bed. Tia shared the first glimpse of her lavish Mallorca wedding on Instagram on Wednesday - with her uncle clearly in attendance. She tied the knot with husband Harry Agombar, and her uncle Gary was sitting among the guests despite the 17-year feud between the Lineker brothers. Her father Wayne walked her down the alter and linked onto her arm as he did so. Tia looked stunning in a white dress, complete with a veil and huge bouquet of flowers. Her father walked beside her in a dapper black suit. BROTHERS REUNITE Gary was seen sitting among the guests, signalling a truce between the brothers. This was their second reunion in recent weeks. Back in June the former Match of the Day host's son Harry got married. Harry, 31, tied the knot with partner Bella in a luxurious ceremony on the Spanish island of Ibiza. Gary Lineker reveals Match of the Day blunder he made in last-ever appearance for first time in 26 years Spirits were high as all the family celebrated together beneath the sunshine. GARY AND WAYNE'S FEUD The two brothers are believed to have fallen out while Gary was with his second wife Danielle Bux. They travelled to Ibiza to visit Wayne but the trip broke their close relationship, which saw an end to their weekly phone calls. He told The Sun in 2015: "In my opinion, Danielle cost me my relationship with my brother. "Sadly Gary is no longer a part of my life. "They came to Ibiza in August 2008 and it was really awkward. "I didn't spark with Danielle and our relationship was cold." Wayne was Gary's best man at his first wedding to Michelle Cockayne in 1986. But the club owner did not attend as the ex-BBC host tied to knot with Danielle because his invite did not extend to his girlfriend at the time Ana Tanaka. Opening up on the brother's relationship in a recent interview with The Mail, Wayne said: "It's not so good to be honest, we don't really speak very often. "I'll always be his number one fan."

Harry's like vacuous Meghan's hostage-in-the-attic – he's so lost he ruins EVERYTHING he touches, expert slams

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) PRINCE Harry acts like Meghan's hostage-in-the-attic and ruins everything he touches, an expert has claimed. The Sussexes announced yesterday they signed a new "multi-year, first look deal" with Netflix to produce "film and television projects". Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 9 Prince Harry is 'lost', according to a royal expert Credit: Reuters 9 Season 2 of Meghan's controversial cookery show will drop later this month Credit: Netflix 9 It is yet to be revealed whether Harry will appear in the second season Credit: BackGrid However, broadcaster and journalist Esther Krakue told The Sun's Royal Exclusive show how the Duke will be at the mercy of his wife. In harsh comments, she claimed Harry has "no value in terms of entertainment". "Harry is in the attic, he's a hostage, and thankfully he chewed through his leash just in time to make an appearance in the season two trailer," she told The Sun's royal editor Matt Wilkinson. "But he is nowhere to be seen. Yes, obviously, he's dealing with the fallout from his charity and trying to find his own thing. "But the man is lost. I mean, he's really trying to find his feet. "He has a kind of brown Midas touch, which I'm sure the viewers can infer what I mean by that. "And really, this creative side of this endeavor has really been Meghan's push." The expert added that she's interested to see how the Duchess handles directing - having remained in front of the camera on previous projects. Ms Krakue claimed the actress is used to being a "b-list presence in Hollywood", who remained in the "background". "If I was a Netflix executive and I was negotiating this new non-deal with Harry and Meghan," she continued. Harry & Meghan were 'not in a strong position' & signed Netflix deal for 'much less'… TV giant 'did it for publicity' "I'd probably want to throw my shoe at Harry because at least Meghan is entertaining in the sense that she's so vacuous, it's almost like you marvel at it. "But Harry's not a creative and he's never had anything in this industry. "And I think because he's come from a world where everyone fawns at everything that he does because he's Prince Harry. Ms Krakue highlighted Harry's Polo documentary flop "that really just didn't connect". 9 Prince Harry's polo documentary was watched by just 500,000 people Credit: Reuters 9 The couple trashed the Royal Family in their 2022 docuseries Credit: NETFLIX 9 The couple have signed a new deal with the streaming giant Credit: Splash The broadcaster estimated the streaming giant should have "sunk" it's funds into Meghan instead. "Even though she's not entertaining the way that she thinks she is," Ms Krakue added. "Harry just has, there's just nothing to him in terms of entertainment value. "And I think this is probably why Netflix are like, yeah, let's deal with the wife." It was previously thought that the Sussexes' £74million deal with the streamer was not going to be renewed. Harry's vanity project, Polo, about the sport, was watched by just 500,000 people. But it was also understood that bosses were mildly infuriated by Meghan making her As Ever brand a priority. 'Meghan & Harry need to come up with a hit soon' By Matt Wilkinson JUST when you thought it was safe to turn the telly on again... Harry and Meghan are back. And their multi-year renewal with Netflix means they are not going away anytime soon. There have been tense negotiations in recent weeks but Netflix is so deeply involved with Meghan's As Ever brand it was always likely that the streaming giants would want them back. Make no mistake, Harry and Meghan would have been desperate for the deal to be renewed. They will likely be opening a bottle or two of As Ever Rose in Montecito. Because they have invested heavily in Archewell Productions and getting on board with Netflix is central not only to their post-Royal endeavours but more importantly crucial to their bank accounts. If they lost their Netflix money then how could they afford their life in the US? While the length of the deal or how much the couple are getting paid is vague we do know that Meghan will appear in a 'holiday special' in December that will likely clash with the Princess of Wales's annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey. And finally, two years after I revealed in The Sun the couple had bought the rights to the book Meet Me At The Lake, production is in active development. Sources close to the couple are coy about whether Harry or Meghan will appear on screen for the production of Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within which will air later this year. But perhaps the best piece of news from the announcement is no repeat of the six-part documentary which dumped on the Royal Family. However, 'Harry & Meghan' was a ratings dream and none of their projects since have been anywhere as successful. They need to come up with a hit soon. And this 'first look' deal means Netflix has the first option on new projects from the couple without any guaranteed commitment. But remember the Sussexes are not the only Royals to be in bed with Netflix. The King will feature in a documentary on The King's Foundation with Idris Elba. The With Love, Meghan viewing figures have reportedly been "dismal". The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have previously released a number of shows on the platform, including a 2022 documentary on their lives and lifestyle show With Love, Meghan this year. They had secured a lucrative five-year contract - thought to be worth more than $100 million (£74 million) - with Netflix after quitting as senior working royals in 2020. However, a new deal has been signed for "much less", an insider told Page Six. Meghan said in a statement: 'We're proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand. "My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.' 'DOWNGRADE' Netflix will only pay for projects they want to screen, rather than pay in a single multi-million pound agreement like the one signed in 2020, The Sun understands. The Sun can also reveal, however, that the streaming giants will cover Archewell Productions's overheads, including all costs for its offices and staff. The new deal was also described as a "downgrade" by PR expert Mark Borkowski. He told the Mail: "I think Netflix has done a very neat job of pivoting away from two very expensive people who didn't deliver, and they've taken that deal off the table, and they've given them a modest one. "It's not like they're gradually uncoupling – it's a downgrade. Netflix are not going to expose themselves to those budgets again. It's Netflix saying, 'Let's have a look at your content, but we'll pick and choose, mate'." CRINGE NEW TRAILER This comes as mum-of-two Meghan teased a new trailer for her critically panned Netflix show. Footage showed the Duchess with a host of famous guests speaking about how she "loves finding new ways to show people she cares" ahead of the release of the second series of With Love, Meghan on August 26. The show's second series claims it will be "fun and heartwarming", with plethora of celebrity guests due to make their appearance. This includes model Chrissy Teigen, podcast pal Jamie Kern Lima, and Netflix Queer Eye star Tan France. Meghan can be seen laughing alongside guests at her luxury Montecito home in the trailer, even joking at the end about Prince Harry's lack of love for lobster. Speaking to Chef Andrés, she says: "You know who doesn't like lobster? My husband." In response, the chef light-heartedly retorts: "And you married him anyway?" In one cringey moment during the trailer, in which she is seen cooking and baking with celebrity friends, the Duchess of Sussex also says: "I love the idea of just spending time together... and finding new ways to show people you care." She adds: "There are easy ways to show up, lovingly." On top of Season 2 of With Love, Meghan - which will drop later this month - the couple will also film a "Holiday Celebration" Christmas special. The couple will also release a short film called "Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within" which will look at Uganda's Masaka region and the HIV/AIDS crisis there. This has echoes of Harry's mum Diana's work, who pioneered social change on perceptions of HIV/AIDS. 9 The second season Meghan Markle's show With Love, Meghan is due to be released on August 26 Credit: JAKE ROSENBERG/NETFLIX 9 The trailer sees Meghan cooking, baking and creating drinks with celebrity friends Credit: COURTESY OF NETFLIX

Traitors and Celebrity SAS star 'involved in boozy brawl with TikTok star'

The Traitors winner and former Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins star Harry Clark was reportedly involved in a 'drunken scuffle' with a TikTok influencer following a recent showbiz event After viewers watched Harry Clark get the chop from Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, reports of a previous bust up and a glitzy bash came to light. ‌ The Traitors star exited the gruelling Channel 4 show at the midway point after being caught out. And now allegations have came to light on a boozy brawl involving Harry and a TikTok star at the Brit Awards. ‌ According to reports, the reality TV star had a 'drunken scuffle' with social media star Moe Osman at the awards ceremony in March. Sources claim the alleged incident saw Harry, 24, retaliate after being "antagonised" by the influencer. ‌ A source told The Sun that Moe, who is known as Hellacreps online, and Harry clashed at the event. They said: "Harry is clearly really enjoying being able to attend amazing events like the Brits but at the event he and Moe clashed. 'It got physical. It was a drunken scuffle. There is never a fight at that sort of thing so everyone was really shocked.' Following his exit from Celeb SAS, it was revealed that Harry has now joined Pause For Thought in a permanent role. He recently appeared on BBC Radio 2's long-running segment where he opened up about his religious beliefs. Joining Scott Mills live on air on Tuesday, he said: "I know that some of your listeners will know me from winning The Traitors, and I wanna know more about that next week but for now, for this Pause For Thought, I thought I'd tell you more about what makes me tick. So, I'm Harry, I'm 24, and I come from a massive family. "There's five of us children, I've got two brothers, two sisters and a mum and dad. Despite achieving something, I'm still just a normal kid from Slough who lives with his parents and sisters in a council house. ‌ "Both of my brothers have now moved out. Luckily, thanks to my mum, religion has always been a big part of my life and has helped me all the way through." He went on: "Faith has been, and it means a lot to me always and it's amazing to be a part of something bigger that is outside of myself. As soon as I could I decided I was off to North Yorkshire at the age of 16 to become an avionics technician, which is technically a helicopter engineer, which is easier to understand but it's still just as crazy as it sounds. ‌ "I'd never seen a helicopter before I left Slough, so becoming a helicopter engineer is the coolest thing ever." And speaking of his involvement in The Traitors, he said: "I was asked to go on Traitors series two, which to my surprise, I actually managed to win somehow. "Since then, it's been a rollercoaster of ups and downs and around summertime again last year, I seemed to lose myself mentally but then the thing that saved me for a second time was my faith. When I prayed, I didn't feel alone and I felt that there was something there for me just like there always has been."
