Nysa Devgan dons saree in unseen glimpses from graduation day, Kajol and Ajay Devgn share video
Kajol, Ajay and their son Yug flew to Switzerland to be with Nysa at her graduation ceremony.
In a joint post, Kajol and Ajay took fans inside their family celebration. They dropped a video featuring a glimpse of Nysa in her graduation robe.
For the special day, Nysa wore a sheer lavender saree. Kajol looked beautiful as ever in a dark blue saree. On the other hand, Ajay looked dapper in white trousers, shirt and a grey blazer. Nysa's younger brother wore a suit.
The video also offered a glimpse of the scenic view from the balcony of their stay.
Sharing the video, the Bollywood couple wrote, 'Such a special occasion .. so proud… and wholly emotional… #graduation #firstbaby #shesanadult.'
Reacting to the post, Twinkle Khanna and Manish Malhotra dropped heart emojis. "Many many congratulations to her," said Mahraj director Siddharth P Malhotra. Ronit Bose Roy added, 'Congratulations and all the best for the way forward.'
Kajol and Ajay got married in 1999. They have two kids-- Nysa and Yug.
Previously, Nysa completed her studies at Singapore's United World College of South East Asia. Later, she moved to Switzerland to pursue her undergraduate degree.
On the other hand, Yug is currently completing his school in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Nysa might not make her debut in Bollywood after finishing her undergraduate studies. Kajol and Ajay have repeatedly shared that Nysa has no plans of joining the industry yet.
Talking about Nysa, Kajol told Zoom, 'When I look at her, I feel, my God, she is the woman we all want to be. It is this amazing quality which today's girls have that they expect to be treated well. They expect to be treated with the same dignity. They expect good manners. If you are not there, they call you out.'
"I am very proud of her. I have said that to her as well. I am proud of the fact that she carries herself with so much dignity and grace. I think it is always a test of your character when you are faced with uncomfortable situations, and how you react to them. It shows your true mettle. I am proud of my upbringing and my daughter," she added.

Kathal Director Yashowardhan Is 'Baffled' After National Award Win: 'I'm Pinching Myself'
Last Updated: Kathal director Yashowardhan Mishra and producer Guneet Monga are over the moon after their 2023 movie was declared the best Hindi film at the 71st National Awards. Kathal director Yashowardhan Mishra is elated that his 2023 movie has won the Best Hindi Film National Award. Soon after the announcement was made on Friday evening, Mishra spoke to News18 Showsha exclusively and revealed that it was Guneet Monga, the producer of the film, who told him about the big win. 'I got a call from my producers – Gurmeet Monga – they informed me about it. They were equally baffled as much as I am. I can't believe it right now. I think it is an incredible honour to be recognised at the national level, at the national award. It is like a dream for my debut film to win it. I am pinching myself," the director told us. Further expressing his gratitude, Mishra added, 'One does not anticipate these kinds of things; one just does. We just do our best and we hope to tell a story with a lot of genuine affection and hope that it connects with an audience. That is something that thankfully we received with Kathal. People loved it and I was not expecting an award. We just made a film that everybody could watch and enjoy and perhaps spark a conversation with. This award just feels like a cherry on top and it just reaffirms our belief in what we do in the kind of stories that we choose to tell." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Guneet Monga Kapoor (@guneetmonga) Asking about his conversation with Guneet Monga after the national award win, the director shared, 'Oh my God, she is over the moon. We were just talking about it, we need to hold each other's hands right now and hug each other. This is just so unbelievable. I can only thank her for her trust in a newcomer like me." 'It feels incredibly heartening. It was a long journey, which feels slightly validated today," he concluded. Released in May 2023, Kathal stars Sanya Malhotra in the lead. It revolves around a local politician who gets disheartened after a jackfruit from his lawn goes missing. He then appoints two police officials to solve this weird case of theft.
