The La Liga champions saw their attack explode last season with Ballon d'Or candidates Lamine Yamal and Raphinha contributing to 102 goals by scoring themselves or assisting a team-mate. According to Mundo Deportivo, after adding goalkeeper Joan Garcia in a £21million transfer, the priority now is to add a left-footed attacker. A four-man shortlist has been drawn up to that end. The number one target on the shopping list is Liverpool star Luis Diaz, who has been on their radar for some time, while exiled Manchester United ace Rashford is also on there. It is understood Rashford will be available for £40m this summer, while he would also be willing to take a wage cut from his current £325,000-per-week earnings at Old Trafford. Barca transfer chief Deco has already said Rashford is a player the club "likes" and Rashford is said to have told his agents to push for a move to Spain. Nico Williams - Athletic Bilbao 12 Nico Williams was their primary target last summer and has struck up a friendship Lamine Yamal Credit: Getty Advertisement 12 The Spanish winger was the club's primary target last summer after a breakout season for club and country, and while he added more goals to his game in the last 12 months, he overall had a more low-key year. Barcelona now have rival interest in the attacker in the form of Arsenal and Bayern Munich. However, the 22-year-old is reportedly desperate to join Barca as he hopes to link up with Yamal and made his ambitions clear to Deco. Advertisement He is understood to have a release clause of £53m. Ivan Perisic - Free agent 12 Flick is familiar with Ivan Perisic, who will be available for free Credit: Getty 12 Former Tottenham star Perisic is a seasoned veteran and could be the perfect foil to the relatively inexperienced attacking set-up at Flick's disposal. Advertisement Flick knows him from their time together at Bayern Munich, when Perisic bagged 14 goal contributions in 26 games. As a free option on the market Barcelona could do far worse, and the 36-year-old Croatia international is said to be willing to wait for Barcelona to make an approach before deciding on his future. His plan is to reach the World Cup with Croatia and knows competing for a spot at Barcelona will improve those chances. 12 Advertisement TRANSFER NEWS LIVE - KEEP UP WITH ALL THE LATEST FROM A BUSY SUMMER WINDOW

Emi Martinez 'green lights Man Utd transfer' as Aston Villa star eyes move

Manchester United continue to eye Emiliano Martinez and have opened talks with the Aston Villa goalkeeper, who faces an uncertain future after a tearful end to the season Aston Villa's Emi Martinez is keen on a move to Manchester United with talks reportedly ongoing over a move. The goalkeeper is facing an uncertain future with numerous parties interested in his services. The Argentine's career has flourished since he moved to Villa Park from Arsenal back in 2020. Martinez has helped Villa become a Champions League outfit whilst he's also earned a reputation as a penalty specialist. ‌ He was integral in Argentina's World Cup win back in 2022 and is viewed as one of Europe's elite goalkeepers. Now teams in the Saudi Pro League are interested in a move but a switch to Manchester could also be on the cards for the 32-year-old. ‌ According to ESPN Argentina United have now begun discussions with Martinez, who is open to joining Ruben Amorim's side. It is understood that a switch to Old Trafford is his favoured destination even if a move is not imminent. The Villa No 1 was sent-off in the final game of the Premier League season as his side were beaten by the Red Devils, which meant they ultimately missed out on a second successive year in the Champions League. Unai Emery remained non-committal over whether the player would remain. He said: 'I don't know. I don't know. He has a contract with us. We are very happy and we will see how the summer goes.' Asked if there have been discussions over Martinez leaving, Emery added: 'I don't know. You can ask him.' Martinez stoked the rumour mill as he appeared to wave farewell to supporters in his final game at Villa Park. He cut an emotional figure as he cried during his lap around the pitch with his team-mates. United goalkeeper Andre Onana has been unable to convince during his two years at the club. He was signed as David de Gea's replacement by Erik ten Hag but has continued to make errors and was eventually dropped by Amorim after a poor performance at Lyon. There has been interest from the Middle East in the former Ajax and Inter Milan goalkeeper and Onana has done little to quash the speculation as he told Actu Cameroun: "Will I leave? I don't know, we'll see!" Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content. Tottenham complete permanent signing of Mathys Tel on six-year deal

The 20-year-old forward spent the second half of last season on loan from the Bundesliga champions and scored three goals in 20 appearances. The loan included an option for Spurs to make the deal permanent for £45.8million, however the PA news agency understands the club successfully negotiated the fee down to £29.8m. We are delighted to announce the permanent signing of Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich on a contract that will run until 2031 ✍️ — Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) June 15, 2025 Having moved to Bayern from Rennes in 2022 he initially enjoyed a significant role, playing 69 times during his first two seasons before falling out of favour when Vincent Kompany was appointed a year ago. He made only eight league appearances during the first half of last season before being loaned to Spurs – whom he initially turned down before an abrupt change of heart late in the January transfer window. The club finished 17th in the Premier League, their lowest-ever finish, but qualified for the Champions League courtesy of their 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Europa League final. Tel, who was an unused substitute in the final in Bilbao, is currently representing France at the under-21 European Championships in Slovakia alongside team-mate Wilson Odobert, and scored his team's opening goal of the tournament, a penalty in Saturday's 3-2 win over Georgia. Bayern's director of football Max Eberl said: 'Mathys Tel came to FC Bayern as a very young player and took his first steps into top-level international football here. 'He was a popular figure in our team, always giving his all for the club and the team. It has become clear that the move to Tottenham was the right one for his development.'
