The latest episode of MasterChef Australia has thrilled fans of the long-running cooking show.
The Back To Win series has seen previous contestants from seasons one to 16 recalled to the kitchen for a second chance at culinary glory.
Channel 10 shook up the format of the tentpole reality TV program in an obvious bid to reel back old fans of the franchise back in for a dose of nostalgia.
On Monday night, longtime viewers were left surprised at the surprise choice of celebrity guest judges.
In previous years, MasterChef Australia has seen the likes of Gordon Ramsay, Nigella Lawson, Katy Perry, King (then Prince) Charles, and even the Dalai Lama lend their star power to the judging panel.

Brothers Joe and Carlo Salanitri and their friend Andrew Manfre have built a social media following of 4.3million for their hilarious skits about growing up in an Italian-Australian family and appeared on MasterChef as their famous 'Nonna' characters
But in a refreshing move, the all-star line up of MasterChef contestants in 2025 were served up Melbourne comedy trio Sooshi Mango instead.
Brothers Joe and Carlo Salanitri and their friend Andrew Manfre have built a social media following of 4.3million for their hilarious skits about growing up in an Italian-Australian family.
The comedy troupe has gone from strength-to-strength, launching a successful podcast, selling out live comedy tours around Australia, and using their 'gimmick' to charm Melbourne with a traditional Italian restaurant of their own, which they opened in 2023.
Sooshi Mango appeared on MasterChef on Monday night as their 'Nonna' alter egos, to the surprise and delight of viewers at home.
Fans said the Nonnas made 'the best episode so far' and were 'hilarious'.
Sooshi Mango introduced 'Viral Week', where contestants were each delivered a 'Mystery Box' and challenged to put their own spin on a traditional Italian dish.
The nonnas did not hold back.
'Bring the world together. Sometimes the worlds collide and it blow up. I love my Greek brothers and sisters. And I love Ravioli. But together? No way!' one contestant was told.
The nonnas did not hold back in their hearty praise - and criticism - of the contestants' Italian-inspired dishes
'It's called Tiramisu. I think this one's called Tira-mi-stupid,' came another harsh dessert assessment.
'I'm very proud of you because you're Skippy and you make a cannoli like that.'
"Skippy" is a slang term of endearment often used by immigrants to describe Australians of Anglo-descent.
There was plenty of praise for the skit, with many viewers saying they thoroughly enjoyed the lighthearted judging.
'We as an Italian family sat down to watch this episode. We laughed so much as it reminds us of our mother/nonna. Thank you Masterchef for having them on,' one fan said.
'Loved this so much, laughed all the way through,' another added, calling it their 'favourite episode of all time.'

Rosie O'Donnell, 63, shocks fans with a VERY trim size 12 shape thanks to 'life saver' weight loss drug Mounjaro

Rosie O'Donnell is marveling at the slimmed down figure she has achieved with the help of weight loss drug Mounjaro. The former talk show host, 63, has been taking the drug since late 2022, yet remains in disbelief over how far she has come. In her latest Instagram post, Rosie revealed she is now a size 12 - and praised the drug as a 'life saver'. Rosie showed off her dramatic results as she went shopping for a new travel outfit, her slimmed down body on display in a fitted black track suit. 'ok so went shopping to but a comfy lounge wear outfit for my 22 hour flight to australia- was undecided as i cant see myself in this new smaller body- cam n robin took this photo of me in the dressing room - i am shocked im a 12 - #mounjaro is a life saver,' she gushed in the caption. Fans were equally impressed in the comments, with one merely stating 'WOW' (along with a few emojis) in response to the picture. Kristin Chenoweth also chimed in, writing: 'You look amazing!' Another wrote: 'It is a life changing med! Not only does it help you lose weight but decreases the inflammation in your body so you feel so much better. Rosie - you look great and hope you feel great too!!' One complimented her: ''I've been needing this for years but my insurance won't cover it. You look awesome-although your Beautiful soul shines through in ANY body.' Mounjaro 'is an injectable prescription medicine that is used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar (glucose) in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus,' per the official website. Back in March of this year, O'Donnell talked about her 'shocking' new size after taking the medication. In a TikTok video uploaded at the time, she explained to her followers: 'I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight. 'But [the weight loss] is also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don't have a chef now. It's me cooking for [my child] Clay and me.' The TV personality then recalled how she went to a clothing store in Dublin and revealed she was a size large after previously wearing sizes XL or XXL. 'I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking,' the mom-of-five expressed. Being on Mounjaro has not only aided her in losing weight, but has made her feel 'healthier' and she is also 'sleeping better.' Back in January 2023, Rosie revealed she had been prescribed the medication and credited it with helping her drop 10 pounds during the holiday season. While taking her child to school, the star explained on TikTok: 'I need to let you know I've lost 10lbs since Christmas.' She added that she had been taking Mounjaro after a fan commented, 'You can't drop a bomb like that and not tell us HOW???' Rosie stated, 'Okay, so like two months ago, my doctor put me on... not Ozempic, Mounjaro? Something like that, and Repath.' She added, 'One I do every other week, and one I do once a week. And that and on Christmas, I stopped drinking anything except water. 'Now I have had champagne one night, that was a toast, and some wine one night, so it hasn't been 100% but I really stopped drinking like five or six Diet Coke's a day.' Rosie now only sticks to drinking water and has reduced her sugar intake while also sharing, 'And my appetite has decreased significantly. 'It's probably the meds, and I'm trying to move more, so all of those things combined, that's what it is.' In a recent weight loss update, she continued to marvel at her results with a photo of her doing stand-up. In the caption of the picture, the star penned to her followers: 'i cant believe this is me now #mounjaro #weightloss #bodydismorphia.'

Stranger Things star Dacre Montgomery reveals why he QUIT Hollywood after finding fame

Stranger Things star Dacre Montgomery has revealed why he stepped out of the spotlight after finding success in Hollywood. The 30-year-old Perth-born actor recently spoke with The Australian, discussing his retreat from stardom. 'I think things have changed,' he explained. 'Traditional Hollywood stars existed because there was mystery... Social media has done away with that. That's a large part of why I dropped off the map for the last five years.' He added, 'I'm not trying to compete with anyone else, I'm living my truth — and hopefully being able to pay the rent while I'm doing it.' The star first appeared on the Netflix sci-fi hit — alongside Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, and more — as Billy Hargrove in 2017's season two. 'I've given a piece of myself to every role I've played and that's largely why I've taken time off,' Dacre noted. 'Lately, there's been a lot of personal reflection about what I want in my career. I'm trying to gain a bit more control over where and what I'm working on.' Dacre will not appear in the upcoming fifth and final season of the series, as his character was killed off in season three. Fans can next see him onscreen in the psychological thriller Went Up The Hill, which will be released on August 15. He is also readying to star in his directorial debut, The Engagement Party, which was announced in September 2024. In May, the lifelong performer said in a statement shared by Deadline, 'I could not be more honoured to be directing The Engagement Party, a film with an extremely important and timely message. 'I'm equally thrilled to have such a wonderful team of collaborators to help bring this story to life.' And the star said to The Australian: 'Not to be too sadomasochistic about it, but I really believe failure and rejection are the best form of learning. 'Joel Edgerton is a great example of an Australian actor who has become a director. 'His brother Nash, a great friend and mentor, is producing this film and he's generously offered to come over and do what he does with Joel when they work together.' Dacre — whose parents also work in the film industry — told The Daily Telegraph last year that he did not plan to appear in his directorial debut, although that has since changed. He said at the time: 'I'm not looking for this to be an engine for my acting career at all. 'I want to direct, and I'm serious about directing, so I'm taking it seriously and not trying to use it as something else.' The film is an intimate and intense drama.

Bethenny Frankel's brutal business advice for Meghan Markle and Kelly Clarkson

From cocktails and reality TV to social media influencing and podcasting, Bethenny Frankel has built up one of the most enviable business empires in entertainment. So it's no surprise that the notoriously outspoken mogul, 54, isn't holding it back when it comes to her thoughts on the success of other celebrities in the business world. Speaking to Us Weekly recently, Frankel shared her unfiltered opinions on fellow stars like Meghan Markle, Drew Barrymore, and Kelly Clarkson. She implied that Markle and Prince Harry 's many projects since leaving Buckingham Palace hadn't 'landed.' 'They didn't want the fame, but they didn't want to give up the lifestyle, because it's expensive. Now they're living in Montecito, and it's hard for things to land,' she said. 'It's hard to land all of those things, and they wanted to do it in a timely manner because they realized there was a certain window of opportunity, so they made all these different deals. And business is really hard,' she continued. 'I respect that relationship and that loyalty to each other, and I just don't think it's that easy. If it was so easy, everybody would be good at doing it.' In recent years, Markle has launched two podcasts, a docuseries on Netflix, a lifestyle show called With Love, Meghan, and a brand featuring jams, wine, and cookie mix. Meanwhile, Harry produced a Netflix reality show about the world of polo and released a tell-all memoir. Frankel, who now earns millions as a TikTok influencer, also had some choice words for talk show hosts like Clarkson, Barrymore, and Jimmy Kimmel. 'People are like, 'When are you going back on TV?' I'm like, 'I am [on TV]. This is it. We're watching the show right now,"' she said of her social media career. 'I can't make more money by going and sitting in Jimmy Fallon's seat, having to go to a studio and do it the way they want, or Kelly Clarkson or Drew Barrymore. 'I make as much money as they do sitting in my house, in my pajamas. This is my talk show, my thing, and I get to be myself.' Frankel currently boasts 3.3 million followers on TikTok and over four million on Instagram. Her videos regularly garner thousands, if not millions, of views, putting her on par with the viewership of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Frankel's attention on social media has also led to lucrative endorsement deals for the former reality star, with brands like L'Oreal, Verizon, and Dunkin' Donuts paying her huge sums to promote their products. In 2023, which was her first year working as a full time influencer, Frankel told Business Insider that she made $3.2 million. The following year, her annual revenue from brand partnerships grew to $7 million, and that's before factoring in her affiliate earnings and other businesses. According to Forbes, she makes $400,000 a month alone just from the affiliate marketing site ShopMy. Meanwhile, experts recently told that Meghan and Harry's new Netflix deal is a huge 'downgrade' for the couple. The couple signed a new 'multi-year, first look deal for film and television projects' with the streaming giant - understood to be worth less for the pair than their previous contract. The 'first-look' arrangement means Netflix can say yes or no to new film or television projects before anyone else - allowing them to pick and choose what they invest in. PR expert Mark Borkowski described the new deal as a 'downgrade,' claiming it falls a long way from the jackpot figure of Harry and Meghan's original contract in 2020. He told the Daily Mail: 'I think Netflix has done a very neat job of pivoting away from two very expensive people who didn't deliver, and they've taken that deal off the table, and they've given them a modest one. 'It's not like they're gradually uncoupling – it's a downgrade. Netflix are not going to expose themselves to those budgets again. 'It's Netflix saying, "Let's have a look at your content, but we'll pick and choose, mate."' He believes the pair will be paid for each production selected by Netflix rather than receiving an overall fee, such as the reported $100 million of their first deal.
