Rosie O'Donnell, 63, shocks fans with a VERY trim size 12 shape thanks to 'life saver' weight loss drug Mounjaro
The former talk show host, 63, has been taking the drug since late 2022, yet remains in disbelief over how far she has come.
In her latest Instagram post, Rosie revealed she is now a size 12 - and praised the drug as a 'life saver'.
Rosie showed off her dramatic results as she went shopping for a new travel outfit, her slimmed down body on display in a fitted black track suit.
'ok so went shopping to but a comfy lounge wear outfit for my 22 hour flight to australia- was undecided as i cant see myself in this new smaller body- cam n robin took this photo of me in the dressing room - i am shocked im a 12 - #mounjaro is a life saver,' she gushed in the caption.
Fans were equally impressed in the comments, with one merely stating 'WOW' (along with a few emojis) in response to the picture.
Kristin Chenoweth also chimed in, writing: 'You look amazing!'
Another wrote: 'It is a life changing med! Not only does it help you lose weight but decreases the inflammation in your body so you feel so much better. Rosie - you look great and hope you feel great too!!'
One complimented her: ''I've been needing this for years but my insurance won't cover it. You look awesome-although your Beautiful soul shines through in ANY body.'
Mounjaro 'is an injectable prescription medicine that is used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar (glucose) in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus,' per the official website.
Back in March of this year, O'Donnell talked about her 'shocking' new size after taking the medication.
In a TikTok video uploaded at the time, she explained to her followers: 'I am on Mounjaro for my diabetes and one of the side effects is you lose weight.
'But [the weight loss] is also because I had a chef for over two years in Los Angeles and I don't have a chef now. It's me cooking for [my child] Clay and me.'
The TV personality then recalled how she went to a clothing store in Dublin and revealed she was a size large after previously wearing sizes XL or XXL.
'I find it shocking. I really do. I find it completely shocking,' the mom-of-five expressed.
Being on Mounjaro has not only aided her in losing weight, but has made her feel 'healthier' and she is also 'sleeping better.'
Back in January 2023, Rosie revealed she had been prescribed the medication and credited it with helping her drop 10 pounds during the holiday season.
While taking her child to school, the star explained on TikTok: 'I need to let you know I've lost 10lbs since Christmas.'
She added that she had been taking Mounjaro after a fan commented, 'You can't drop a bomb like that and not tell us HOW???'
Rosie stated, 'Okay, so like two months ago, my doctor put me on... not Ozempic, Mounjaro? Something like that, and Repath.'
She added, 'One I do every other week, and one I do once a week. And that and on Christmas, I stopped drinking anything except water.
'Now I have had champagne one night, that was a toast, and some wine one night, so it hasn't been 100% but I really stopped drinking like five or six Diet Coke's a day.'
Rosie now only sticks to drinking water and has reduced her sugar intake while also sharing, 'And my appetite has decreased significantly.
'It's probably the meds, and I'm trying to move more, so all of those things combined, that's what it is.'
In a recent weight loss update, she continued to marvel at her results with a photo of her doing stand-up.
In the caption of the picture, the star penned to her followers: 'i cant believe this is me now #mounjaro #weightloss #bodydismorphia.'

Miranda Hart says 'what have I done' as she gives health update amid Strictly Come Dancing rumours
Miranda Hart says 'what have I done' as she gives health update amid Strictly Come Dancing rumours Comedy star Miranda Hart has been the subject of speculation that she could take part in the new series of Strictly Come Dancing and she's spoken to fans one year on from her Lyme disease revelation (Image: BANG Showbiz) Miranda Hart has confessed that her ongoing battle with Lyme disease would make participating in Strictly Come Dancing a challenge. Following her Miranda co-star Sarah Hadland's stint on the BBC One Latin and ballroom show last year, there have been whispers about the 52 year old comedian following suit. However, her chronic health condition has thrown a spanner in the works. The comedienne acknowledges she is currently taking "one day at time with recovery", but hasn't dismissed the idea of gracing the Strictly dance floor in the future, hinting she might give it a whirl when she hits 60. In an Instagram video update, in a typical Miranda way, the star teased her followers about the Strictly speculation. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter She said: "Hello to you. Well I have news. "No I'm joking, that was a joke.. or was that a double bluff, no really it was a joke... I shouldn't have said that... what I have done?". Article continues below "No, the menopausal mounds of this body is not ready for any sort of dance floor let alone one on national television - no one is ready for that." Content cannot be displayed without consent Miranda concluded filming on her self-titled BBC show in 2015 while battling undiagnosed Lyme disease, which eventually developed into myalgic encephalomyelitis, more commonly referred to as chronic fatigue syndrome. She continued: "No the news is that I am sharing news on Thursday so this is the pre-news news. "This time last year I was telling people rather anxiously that I had written a book about suffering from Lyme disease and other delightful associated conditions. "I was keeping it a secret that I had just got married because it was a story in said book. "I am still completely everyday amazed and grateful and blown away that people have been helped by the book, enjoyed my story and it's helped their story." Miranda maintained the demanding training and practice sessions for Strictly would be unmanageable at present. She continued: "That's another reason I couldn't do Strictly, heavens. The whole Lyme disease and chronic illness conditions, if you are a fellow sufferer then you know that it is one day at time with recovery. Article continues below "It would be too early, the dancing every day for three months, she says as if she'd get to the final if she did it. I'll do it when I'm 60, that's what I've decided. Anyway the news is coming on Thursday, this is the pre news news." Sarah and her dancing partner Vito Coppola reached the grand finale as second place to comedian Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell.

Taylor Swift confirms October album release for The Life of A Showgirl
Taylor Swift has announced that her 12th studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl, will be released on October 3. The news came during Swift's appearance on the New Heights podcast, hosted by her NFL star boyfriend Travis Kelce and his brother Jason, who formerly played for the Philadelphia Eagles. Unveiling a copy of the new record, the singer said: 'This is my new album, The Life Of A Showgirl. It's something I was working on while I was in Europe on the Eras tour.' In an Instagram post, the 35-year-old revealed the album's artwork and 12-track listing – with Sabrina Carpenter featuring on the title song and as the only collaboration. Carpenter said in a post on Instagram: 'The Life Of A Showgirl, October 3, I know someone who's freaking out and it's me.' On the podcast, Travis Kelce said the fact that Swift recorded the album while simultaneously travelling the world for her sold-out tour was 'still blowing my mind'. Swift said: 'I just love music. I would be playing shows three nights in a row, then I would have three days off. 'I would fly to Sweden. Working on this, I was physically exhausted at this point in the tour, but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating.' Swift teased the upcoming record was 'a lot more upbeat' than 2024's The Tortured Poets Department. The Life Of A Showgirl will also mark her reunion with producers Max Martin and Shellback. 'It feels kind of, energetically, how my life has felt,' she said about this new album. The Life Of A Showgirl is Swift's first album since regaining control of her back catalogue and purchasing the rights to all of her concert films, music videos, album art and photography, as well as her unreleased songs. The US popstar re-recorded her first six albums and released them as Taylor's Version, following a dispute with retired talent manager Scooter Braun. Braun acquired the back catalogue when he bought Swift's former label. Her master copies were then sold in a deal with Shamrock Capital, before Swift purchased them from the company in May. Swift has released new versions of Fearless, Red, Speak Now, and 1989, but is yet to release her debut self-titled album or 2017's Reputation. Speaking about acquiring her master recordings, Swift said: 'A lot of record deals are set up in a way that artists don't own their master recordings. Owning your master recordings means that you have complete control and power over distribution, licensing, and essentially the way your legacy is shaped. 'My music has been sold a few times. The first time it was sold, it really ripped my heart out of my chest. 'I started basically defiantly re-recording my music because I wanted to own it. And this was the only way I thought it was ever going to happen. 'Re-recording my music, it was so exciting to get to have that opportunity. But I still thought about not owning my music every day. 'After the Eras tour, I had a meeting with my team and we decided this might be a good time to approach the current owners of it.' Swift then became emotional as she described the phone call from her mother afterwards to tell her 'you got your music'. Her 12th studio album comes after Swift's billion-dollar, record-breaking Eras Tour ended in December. She made history last summer when the tour became the highest-grossing of all time, and Swift became the first solo artist to perform at London's Wembley Stadium eight times on a single tour. Swift has had four UK number one singles and 13 UK number one albums, and some of her best-known songs include Love Story, Shake It Off and 22. Celtic star shares adorable throwback pic of him in his first Hoops kit that ‘he wanted to wear all the time'
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IT'S every kid's dream to one day play for the team you support as a youngster. It's a dream that's become a reality for one current Celtic star. Sign up for the Celtic newsletter Sign up 4 The Celtic star shared the throwback pic Credit: INSTAGRAM/@CELTICFC 4 Luke McCowan took part in a fans' Q&A Credit: INSTAGRAM/@CELTICFC 4 McCowan is now living the dream at Parkhead Credit: Kenny Ramsay Luke McCowan grew up a huge Hoops fan and just a few years ago, pulling on the green and white hoops for real would've still seemed a rather unlikely ambition. The midfield ace was plucked from local football by Ayr United as a 19-year old in 2017. He was famously still working as a lifeguard at a local leisure centre in Greenock before landing his professional contract. McCowan enjoyed a breakout year at Somerset Park in the 2019/20 season and landed a big move to the Scottish Premiership with Dundee in 2021. A stellar campaign in the 2023/24 season saw him strike 10 goals from midfield and he landed his dream move to Parkhead the following year. McCowan went on to score seven goals in 41 games across all competitions as Celtic won a league and cup double. He also struck a dramatic late winner on the opening day of this season as the champions beat St Mirren 1-0. Having grown up a Hoops fan, he's very much now living his boyhood dream. And while he now pulls on the Celts kit for real every week, he's shared a throwback pic from more than TWENTY years ago when those ambitions very much were a distant dream. McCowan took part in a Q&A on Celtic's social media channels and one fan asked him what the first Hoops kit he owned was. That saw him cast his mind back all the way to 2003. Ex-Celtic star goes wild as he does the huddle at Oasis gig with 70,000 fans McCowan joked: "No doubt probably the day I left the hospital my mum and dad had us in Celtic kit!" He then explained: "But the one I can remember is the 2003/04 Carling. "I put a picture up of me standing like that (arms outstretched) and I've got the Celtic Carling 2003 top on and I've got the bandanna on my head. "That's the first one I can remember wanting to wear all the time and wanting to put on. 4 "That's probably somewhere as well in my mum and dad's loft stinking!" Celtic then shared the very same picture on their Instagram stories, exactly as McCowan remembered it! The 2003/04 campaign was a memorable one for the Hoops who romped to the SPL title. Losing just two games all league season, Martin O'Neill's men reached 98 points and finished 17 points ahead of Rangers. Have YOU got a point for Kris Boyd?
