JD Vance visit causes unexpected chaos at Clarkson's Farm
Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that US Vice President JD Vance's holiday has gotten in the way of filming for Clarkson's Farm. The presenter revealed on Instagram that a no-fly zone has been put in place around the Cotswolds manor the Vice President is vacationing it. Clarkson's farm is within the mile-wide area, meaning the program can't do any drone shots for the duration of the Vice President's stay. Vance will be in residence in the hamlet of Dean for the rest of August. Clarkson posted a picture on Instagram showing the no fly zone, writing: 'The JD Vance no fly zone. We are the pin. So on the downside, no drone shots today. On the upside, no annoying light aircraft.' Clarkson isn't the only one frustrated by Vance's presence in Chipping Norton, with many in the area tired of the disruptions caused by Trump's right-hand man's choice of holiday spot. This includes Clarkson's right-hand man, Kaleb Cooper, who commented on Clarkson's post: 'My wheat got wet in the trailer last night as the convo stopped me in the rain in Chippy. 'I could easily have went on my way and got it in the shed without getting in the way.' Adding several laughing emojis, he noted: '(If) he had just drove around in a VW Polo nobody would know who he was.' Vance is staying in Dean Manor, a vast property situated in a small hamlet of just 12 houses in Oxfordshire, and the Secret Service now has a noticeable presence in the area as they attempt to maintain its security. According to The DailyMail, one local who did not wish to be named said: 'Dean Manor is as close as possible to Mr Clarkson's farm house as can be. I'm willing to bet Clarkson can see it out of his bedroom window.' But it's unlikely the pair will find themselves being particularly neighbourly, as Clarkson recently slammed Vance in his column after Vance described the UK as 'some random country that hasn't fought a war in 30 or 40 years' amid rising tensions between Europe and the US as to how Ukraine can be supported in their conflict with Russia. In response, Clarkson wrote, in part: 'I've searched for the right word to describe him and I think it's 't**t'. He also has no clue about history. 'Because far more recently than 30 or 40 years ago, as Vance claimed last week, our brave young men were being blown to pieces in some godforsaken desert to support whatever madcap scheme the American president had embarked upon that week.' Shielded by 15-foot-high honey-coloured stone walls, Dean Manor's six-acre gardens are usually a model of serene, by-appointment-only beauty. Built in 1702 during Queen Anne's reign for Oxford Tory MP Thomas Rowney, the Grade II-listed house is now under an unprecedented security lockdown. More Trending The estate's current owner, Pippa Hornby, is maintaining strict silence on her high-profile new tenant, believed to be paying up to £8,000 a week for the property. Dean Manor's Tory pedigree seems apt for Republican Vance: it was until recently owned by Conservative peer Peter Selwyn Gummer, Baron Chadlington, and sits just down the road from former prime minister David Cameron's home in Dean, itself protected by a permanent armed police detail. Where to watch the filming of Spider-Man in Glasgow right now
I head along to St Vincent Street between Wellington and Hope Street, where fans can immerse themselves between yellow cabs and glance over into the curtained off areas. With a higher vantage point, you could catch a glimpse of superstars Tom Holland and Zendeya. I spoke to a Marvel fan, Mark Nelson, who had been photographing the scenes of the movie in Bothwell Street. "I got some nice pictures of whoever was in the suit. Certainly The Lloyds building is quite iconic, the way they can turn that into an American building is quite impressive." Now the filming on Bothwell Street is over he plans to move to the new locations, which are closer to the city centre. Renfield Street Make your way to Renfield Street - where just off West George Street they are currently filming an action scene involving lots of smoke and a New York city bus. I can hear directors shouting 'Action !' over loud megaphones and feel the excitement in the air. The energy from the fans is undeniable and it's great to be part of it. I spoke to some Glaswegians to get a better understanding of their experience of their day. Maggie Smith, a local office worker, said: "It does look as if you have a better spot further up the hill'. Members of the public watch a person in a Spider-Man suit during filming in St Vincent Street in Glasgow (Image: PA) The new road closures take place between Friday 22nd to Tuesday 26th of August, but where are the new go-to spots? North Frederick Street Set off for North Frederick Street between George and Cathedral Street for the filming taking place on Cochrane Street (Friday August 22 to Tuesday August 26). From here you can get a view from afar, however, the high angle makes it easy to observe what will be the new bustling movie set and catch moments from the blocked off areas once filming begins. John Street Between George and Cochrane Street (Friday 22 to Sunday 24 August), John Street will be closed to the public for filming. Martha Street will become a great onlook point for eager movie fans to take photos and videos of sneak peeks until 10pm on Sunday August 24. George Street & Cathedral Street Another new closure is on Montrose Street between George and Ingram Street (Monday 25 to Tuesday 26 August). George Street, adjacent to Montrose, as well as the highest point of Montrose Street (just off Cathedral Street) are two prime spots with the hill providing expansive perspectives.

Brooklyn's ‘smugness' in wedding pics show he's got what he wants & David is no longer the alpha, says body language pro
Could David's alpha crown of the Beckham household be about to slip? VOW WOES Brooklyn's 'smugness' in wedding pics show he's got what he wants & David is no longer the alpha, says body language pro Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) BROOKLYN Beckham's vow renewal has been splashed on social media with sweet messages like 'Only love' and 'Forever my girl,' declared under a curated mix of pictures. While the wedding snaps show an array of celebrities celebrating Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn special day - there were a few faces notably missing - his own family and most notably his parents David and Victoria. None of the Beckhams were invited to the lavish ceremony on — presided over by Nicola's billionaire dad Nelson — and only read about it on an American website. But body language expert Judi James says the wedding pictures show the family feud is still on Brooklyn's mind even if they were nowhere to be seen. Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, she said: "In the ongoing custody battle between Victoria and Nicola, Brooklyn and Nicola's smiles here look like the chef's kiss. READ MORE ON BROOKLYN BECKHAM VOW WOES Brooklyn Beckham's vow renewal branded 'a gratuitous display of obscene wealth' "There now appears to be no chance of Brooklyn doing alternate weekends with his mum and his wife, these glaringly powerful poses seem crafted to suggest that he's got what he wants and he's staying put." CLINGING ON Judi notes that in various snaps of their lavish day, Brooklyn clings on to his wife and seems to be trying to prove he has the fairytale life away from his roots. 6 While Nicola poses perfectly, Brooklyn looks like he's clinging on Credit: Instagram/brooklynpeltzbeckham Judi says: "Nicola's smile is pitch-perfect and virtually static throughout here. She is shown looking poised, elegant and happily accepting of his love for her. "Brooklyn meanwhile poses as the besotted groom, placing a tentative and awkwardly-positioned-looking hand on her chest as though barely able to believe his luck as his eyes gaze at her with a look of purring admiration. "Her hands endorse his grasp, covering it with both hands to show off her massive diamond ring." And Judi points out his pose seems to be inherited by his mum, Victoria Beckham. She adds: "It's interesting that Brooklyn shows he has inherited his mother's key body language traits here: Emotional clinginess as he clasps his wife, gazingly lovingly at her face or reaches for a closed-lip kiss to display their love in front of friends and the cameras." Brooklyn Beckham & Nicola Peltz 'renew wedding vows' after 3 years of marriage FEELING SMUG As the pair enjoy the afterparty from the ceremony, Brooklyn and Nicola both posed with a cadre of A-list celebrities who were in attendance. 6 Brooklyn's smug look shows he got his fairytale ending Credit: Instagram/brooklynpeltzbeckham The body language pro says it's another way to signal their picture-perfect life is real. "He's depicting his view of the perfect marriage and immersion in the perfect set of his own A-list friends here," she continues. "The poses suggest he's proving a point as much as flaunting the love story, as though he's so desperate to show a happy ending that he's jumping the gun in terms of successful marriage by about five decades. "The 'We did it!' marriage celebrations are usually reserved for a golden wedding anniversary, not the three year mark. "This looks like the proof of a right decision before the confetti from the first wedding has even settled." Again, Brooklyn has inherited his mum's classic smile that doesn't bear teeth. But at closer inspection, the body language pro says his narrowed eyes show more than just happiness. "This possibly inherited smile trait comes with a narrowing of the eyes from Brooklyn here though, giving that impression of self-satisfaction or even smugness," Judi explains. SO MACHO While many of the snaps included the pair either canoodling or posing with their guests, Brooklyn threw in a few solo pictures of himself at the pool table which Judi notes are carefully curated to show off his 'macho' side. 6 His macho side came out to prove his place in the world, says Judi Credit: Instagram/brooklynpeltzbeckham Judi says: "There is a strong hint here of being competitive with his own dad, David. "Brooklyn seems to want to show off his cool side with the shades and his successful, more macho brand too, leaning over the pool table with his arms splayed and his shirt undone at the neck to register a rather old-fashioned sense of showing alpha traits. "Growing up with a genuine, world famous hero as a dad and 'head' of the household might have made Brooklyn feel determined to prove he can have his own alpha profile. "In other snaps he's walking around with what looks like a whisky glass in one hand to hint at a projection of more old-school macho power."
