Some parts of the UAE has been under a spell of rain over the past few days and it look likely to continue over the long Eid Al Adha weekend. The met department has again forecast for rainfall in some parts of the country on Sunday, June 8. The National Centre of Meteorology said that there will be fair to partly skies at times, with a probability of some convective cloud formation, associated with rainfall eastward and northward. There will be a gradual increase in temperatures and it could get humid by night and Monday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a probability of fog or mist formation. There will be light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds, freshening at times with a speed of 10kmph and 25kmph, reaching 40kmph. The sea conditions will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea. Temperatures in Abu Dhabi are likely to see a high of 39°C and a low of 28°C, while in Dubai, it will be 38°C with a low of 27°C. Sharjah will identical as Dubai with a high of 38°C and a low of 27°C.

Videos from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) and Storm Centre capture the effects of the rains, which have triggered waterfalls and caused wadis to overflow. Earlier, the NCM had forecasted rainfall in certain areas, issuing yellow alerts for convective clouds formation.
