Upasana Kamineni Konidela
Upasana Kamineni Konidela believes the old definitions of success no longer serve today's world. Speaking at a recent city event, the entrepreneur and wellness advocate reflected on the evolving idea of purpose — one shaped by rest, joy, and impact rather than wealth alone.
From juggling the demands of motherhood and business to championing women's financial independence, she offered honest insights on wellness, self-worth, and staying grounded in the digital age.
'Success isn't a number; it's a feeling'
Speaking about how her idea of success has changed over the years, Upasana said, 'For me, success previously was about how many millions or billions you make. But right now, success equals how many jobs I can create.
Success equals how much happiness I get. Success equals how much time I can take out for myself.' Urging women to define their own benchmarks, she said, 'Don't chase success. Define success yourself. And then chase it.
Even if you're a homemaker, get it to the workforce. Add to your family's wealth. You can save your family's wealth also by running your house finances. But do something that has to do with finance because women are fantastic.'

'Digital detox is part of wellness too'
Upasana spoke about the struggle with digital dependency, especially around sleep. 'Sleep is so important, but I have the worst broken sleep because I sleep with my phone beside me,' she admitted. 'People know what to do; it's just about following it — and that's the tough part.' She also touched upon how even her daughter is becoming digitally inclined. 'My daughter is not even two and she is already swiping screens.
The blue light makes all of us so addicted,' she said, adding that she's now making a conscious effort to step back from screens when possible.
'Respect and mediation strengthen families'
Reflecting on personal relationships, Upasana said that communication and respect are critical. 'Sometimes, we may not communicate perfectly with each other — but we have great mediators who help bridge that gap. And let me tell you, they don't come cheap.
They're expensive, but I'm grateful to have trust and faith in them.' She further added, 'If you don't respect your family members, then I honestly feel you shouldn't be part of a family that loves you — because you're not doing right by them.

'I pushed Athamma to become an entrepreneur & I take great pride in that'
Upasana shared how she encouraged her mother-in-law, Surekha Konidela, to turn her passion for cooking into a business. 'Athamma never wanted to become an entrepreneur. I pushed her, and I take great pride in that. She has spent her whole life cooking for Mavaiyya (Chiranjeevi) and

'Trump Card is coming': $5m gold card offering US residency now accepting applications; key details

(Source: Donald Trump's Truth Social account) The much-hyped 'Trump Card' is now officially open for registration, offering wealthy foreigners a chance to join a waiting list. US President Donald Trump describes it as a premium route toward US citizenship, for a hefty $5 million price tag. The official website, features an image of the shiny gold-coloured card, complete with Trump's photo, signature and name. The form asks for basic details like name, email, region of origin, and whether the applicant is applying as an individual or a business. The Trump Card is coming! Trump announced the launch on his social media platform Truth Social, 'For five million $DOLLARS, The Trump Card is coming! Thousands have been calling and asking how they can sign up to ride a beautiful road in gaining access to the greatest country and market anywhere in the world.' 'The waiting list is now open,' he added. The website lists eight regions for applicants to choose from: Europe, Asia (including the Middle East), North America, Oceania, Central America, South America, the Caribbean and Africa. Above the details, the site ensures that applicants will be notified when access opens: 'Enter your information below to be notified the moment access opens.' What the card promises — and what it doesn't Trump claims the card offers a 'path to citizenship,' but he has clarified that it does not guarantee immediate entry or naturalisation. 'It's somewhat like a green card , but at a higher level of sophistication,' the POTUS has claimed. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? IC Markets Mendaftar Undo The Trump administration insists the new card does not require approval from Congress, as it doesn't provide citizenship outright. White House officials have said more information will be released soon, reports USA Today. Under the existing US naturalisation system, immigrants must typically be lawful permanent residents for at least five years, meet age and language criteria, and have a clean record. A replacement for EB-5? Trump first proposed the Trump Card earlier this year as a replacement for the EB-5 investor visa programme, which grants green cards to foreigners who invest between $800,000 and $1.05 million into US job-creating projects. The EB-5 programme has long suffered from backlogs and accusations of fraud. 'Wealthy people will be coming into our country by buying this card,' Trump said in February. 'They'll be wealthy, and they'll be successful, and they'll be spending a lot of money, and paying a lot of taxes and employing a lot of people.' He added, 'It's a road to citizenship for people and essentially people of wealth or people of great talent where people of wealth pay for those people of talent to get in.' Major tax advantage for card holders One of the key selling points of the Trump Card appears to be its potential tax benefits. Trump has suggested that gold card buyers would only be taxed on their US earnings, unlike green card holders, who are taxed on worldwide income. This is likely to appeal to many high-net-worth individuals who have avoided relocating to the US due to its global tax obligations. Trump Card does not seem to require applicants to create US-based jobs or launch businesses, unlike the EB-5 visa programme. US commerce secretary Howard Lutnick has claimed that 1,000 cards were sold in a single day, even though the programme has yet to officially launch. According to Lutnick, some 37 million people worldwide could afford the Trump Card. Trump has claimed he was the first to purchase the Trump Card himself. 'I had no idea who would be the second,' he said. However, the programme is not designed for American citizens. Capricorn Daily Horoscope Today, June 12, 2025: Change direction to find new strength

The stars remind you today that changing your direction is not failure—it is wisdom. You may feel pulled toward something new, and it's not wrong to follow that feeling. Plans that once felt secure may now feel heavy. That's okay. You are not the same person you were when you first made them. Trust that the universe supports your shift. Change doesn't need to be dramatic. A gentle step in a new direction can begin a powerful new chapter in your life. Capricorn Love Horoscope Today Love today asks for open communication and the courage to change how you express affection. If you're in a relationship, maybe the way you've been connecting is no longer working. Try a different approach—speak softly, or listen more than usual. If you're single, don't feel stuck in your past dating patterns. Break the routine. You might feel ready to try love in a different way, with someone who truly values your quiet strength. Your heart knows what needs to change. Capricorn Career Horoscope Today Work may present new ideas or opportunities today that feel unfamiliar at first. Don't ignore them. Even a small shift in your role, schedule, or mindset can bring long-term benefits. If something is not feeling fulfilling anymore, it's time to look for what does. Capricorn Money Horoscope Today Money matters may benefit from a shift in your financial strategy. You might realise that an old way of saving or investing no longer suits your present goals. Take time to review where your money flows. A fresh budget plan or a switch in investment method can offer better control. Avoid feeling guilty for changing your mind. Financial success often comes from being flexible, not fixed. Your wealth grows when your direction supports your current needs and future vision. Capricorn Health Horoscope Today Health may need adjustment as well. If a routine, diet, or exercise isn't giving results, don't be afraid to change it. Your body is not a machine—it responds to what feels right in the moment. Try something gentler or more balanced. A stiff back or sore feet may signal that your energy flow is blocked. Listen carefully. A walk in nature or even a change in sleep pattern could bring back your strength. Change in body care brings new energy. Karnataka hosts forum to steer state as premier manufacturing hub

Bengaluru: The Karnataka govt has lined up Rs 3,100 crore to provide dedicated water lines to industries in and around Bengaluru. Karnataka industries minister MB Patil said the project is expected to be completed in 18 months, hailing it as a game changer for industries. The govt hosted the first edition of the Uthpadana Manthana, a post-Invest Karnataka 2025 initiative designed to accelerate the state's vision of becoming India's premier manufacturing hub. The day-long conclave served as a strategic platform to engage directly with industry leaders and co-create a clear, actionable roadmap for industrial growth. The conclave brought together around 80 senior executives from nearly 60 companies across key sectors. These leaders engaged in focused discussions around six priority areas identified by the govt -- aerospace & defence (including space tech and drones), electronics and semiconductors, capital goods and robotics, auto & electric vehicles, technical and textiles, and consumer products such as FMCG, footwear, and toys. Patil said, "The broader objective of Uthpadana Manthana is aligned with the state's vision to attract Rs 7.5 lakh crore in investments and create 20 lakh jobs over the next five years. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like เทรดทองCFDsกับโบรกเกอร์ที่เชื่อถือได้| เปิดบัญชีวันนี้ IC Markets สมัคร Undo The govt is also focused on scaling up merchandise exports by leveraging free trade warehousing zones, export-oriented industrial parks, and faster port access." Karnataka seeks to establish itself as India's most competitive ESDM manufacturing destination by attracting OSAT/ATMP players and strengthening the component ecosystem. " Some of the industry leaders who participated in the event include Aravind Melligeri, chairman of Aequs, Niranjan Nayak, MD of Delta Electronics, Avinash Avula, country president of Applied Materials, and Harish Hanagudu, managing director of Krones. During the conclave, sector leaders presented recommendations that were consolidated into a govt action plan for the next 6–9 months. Suggestions included integrating elective courses in electronics and semiconductor manufacturing into academic curricula with a focus on hands-on learning; improving port connectivity to Mangaluru and Chennai from industrial clusters to ease exports; and streamlining customs clearance procedures to enhance ease of doing business. There was also a strong call for the development of integrated industrial townships with plug-and-play infrastructure, last-mile connectivity, and social amenities. The need to simplify approvals for environmental and operational clearances (such as consent for establishment and consent for action), create shared factory spaces for startups, and offer incentives for apprenticeship-driven companies was also emphasised.
