Rosie O'Donnell Makes Bold Statement About Jay Leno Following 'Biggest Loser' Documentary on Netflix originally appeared on Parade. may have earned the nickname "Queen of Nice" during the run of her charming talk show, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, but the comedian is now making a strong statement against former Tonight Show host Jay Leno—calling him out for how he treated The Biggest Loser contestants who appeared on his show.O'Donnell, who recently debuted a stunning physical transformation after moving to Ireland, shared a screenshot of Biggest Loser season 2 contestant Tracey Yukich giving a confessional interview in Netflix's Biggest Loser documentary, For for TV: The Reality of the Biggest Loser. The comedian accompanied the post with a sharp statement against Leno. 'Biggest Loser' Contestants Share Humiliating Experiences on Late-Night Talk Shows In the documentary, currently trending on Netflix, contestants describe harassment they experienced as guests on late-night talk shows, with Yukich recalling the time Leno read her death threats aloud during a live taping. The three-part Netflix docuseries, released on August 15, explores former Biggest Loser contestants' claims of mistreatment and trauma while filming the reality show—with guest appearances on late-night shows like Leno's only amplifying the React to 'Biggest Loser' Documentary 'This poor lady, I cannot believe what she went through 😢,' wrote one empathetic fan on O'Donnell's Instagram post. Another added, in reference to Leno, 'Him reading her her death threats was horrifying to watch.' Other commenters called the late-night format 'repulsive' and 'hard to watch.' How Long Was Jay Leno Host of 'The Tonight Show'? Jay Leno served as host of The Tonight Show for two separate runs. His first tenure lasted 17 years, from 1992 to 2009, following the retirement of Johnny Carson. In 2010, Leno returned to host after briefly being replaced by Conan O'Brien—a controversial move prompted by a reshuffling at NBC. Leno's second run lasted until 2014, when he retired from late-night TV and was succeeded by Jimmy Fallon. On This Day: Bob Dylan Released His Most Controversial Album Ever

On This Day: Bob Dylan Released His Most Controversial Album Ever originally appeared on Parade. Released on this day in 1979, Bob Dylan's Slow Train Coming became his most controversial record ever. The LP was polarizing due to Dylan's dramatic shift from the themes and musical styles of his prior recordings. Slow Train Coming had a more soulful and gospel-influenced sound, alienating some fans who loved the musician's earlier folk-rock and acoustic music. Parade Daily🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 Dylan converted to Christianity in 1978. His faith was reflected throughout the album's lyrics. Many listeners reportedly found its overtly religious tone jarring, with songs like "Gotta Serve Somebody" and "When He Returns" seeming out of step with the rest of his catalog. However, this LP also drew in a new set of fans, who found solace in Dylan's religious beliefs. Song titles such as 'I Believe In You' and 'Gonna Change My Way of Thinking' brought the singer/songwriter's music to a new legion of listeners. In an interview with writer Karen Hughes, Dylan discussed the reason behind his changed belief system. He called being born again "a hard thing." He explained, "It would have been easier if I had become a Buddhist, or a Scientologist, or if I had gone to Sing Sing." "Being born again is a hard thing. You ever seen a mother give birth to a child? Well it's painful. We don't like to lose those old attitudes and hang-ups". "I guess He's always been calling me", Dylan added. "Of course, how would I have ever known that? I always thought it was some voice that would be more identifiable. But God's got his own purpose and time for everything. He knew when I would respond to His call". Slow Train Coming would place at number 16 in a list of the 100 greatest albums in Christian Music. It would achieve platinum sales status in the United States. Packers Reveal Jordan Love Injury Update With Week 1 Looming

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The Green Bay Packers have dealt with quite a few injuries issues already during training camp. With Week 1 of the regular season coming up quickly, Jordan Love is one of the most important injuries that fans are monitoring. Love had to undergo a surgical procedure on his thumb. Thankfully, it involves his non-throwing hand. Other injuries of note are star safety Xavier McKinney, backup running back MarShawn Lloyd, cornerback Nate Hobbs, and wide receiver Christian Watson. Matt LaFleur, the Packers' head coach, spoke out with a brief update about the team's franchise quarterback. Love returned to practice in limited form. "I thought it was good just to get him back out there, back in the mix, into the rhythm of playing quarterback," LaFleur said. "We did some different things with him that we haven't done in the past. I mean, we pretty much were primarily doing everything under center. So, I thought it was good work." While he is back and participating with the team, LaFleur did make it clear that Love will be "very limited" in the team's joint practice with the Seattle Seahawks. Love enters the 2025 season with huge expectations and a lot of questions. He was expected to have a breakout season in 2024, but a knee injury in Week 1 that knocked him out for two games derailed those plans. After the injury, he was never able to get back into a good rhythm. Assuming he enters the upcoming campaign fully healthy, Love will have another chance to prove that he can truly be a franchise caliber quarterback for Green Bay. If Love plays up to his full potential, Green Bay should be a legitimate Super Bowl contender. There is a lot riding on Love's arm and his health this season. LaFleur's update is a good one, but he needs to be firing on all cylinders by the time the Packers take on the Lions in a couple of weeks.
