Tourist Confronts Indian Men For Littering Streets In Viral Clip
A tourist in India has called out two men for littering the streets. Travel content creator Ameana Finds shared the incident on Instagram, where she confronted the men for carelessly discarding ice cream wrappers onto the street.
In the video, Ms Ameana spots a piece of wrapper on the ground and questions a man standing there: "Is that paper from your ice cream? Yours? Pick it up. Put it in the bin. Why are you doing this?"
The footage then cuts to another scene showing a second man unwrapping his ice cream and casually tossing the wrapper under his seat. Commenting on the careless act, she says, "Look at it, it's crazy. And just throwing it, there you go, right under his feet."
"I don't know what's going through their head. Enjoy your ice cream," she adds before the video ends.
The overlay text on the clip reads, "Tourist confronts Indian men littering their own streets."

The video soon went viral online.
A user commented, "They don't care about their own country."

Public littering and waste management remain a challenge in India. The country generates approximately 62 million tonnes of municipal solid waste annually, with urban per capita waste ranging from 0.47 to 0.97 kg per day.
Despite 70 per cent of this waste being collected, only about 20 per cent is properly processed.
According to a CSIRO report, India also produces roughly 26,000 tonnes of plastic waste daily and is the third-largest e-waste producer globally, with 1.75 million tonnes generated in 2023-24.
Poor segregation and disposal practices cause methane emissions from landfills, especially in cities like Delhi, worsening climate change concerns, The Guardian reported last year.
Government initiatives like the Swachh Bharat Mission aim to improve sanitation and waste management.

After US, Amul launches milk in Spain, EU
Vadodara: After making waves in the United States, home-grown dairy giant Amul has now stepped into Europe, launching its fresh milk products in Spain and the European Union (EU). The Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Limited (Amul Fed) announced a strategic partnership with Spain's premier dairy cooperative, Cooperativa Ganadera del Valle de los Pedroches (COVAP), to bring Amul milk to European shelves. The official launch ceremony was held at the Indian Embassy in Madrid and was attended by dignitaries including Dinesh K Patnaik, India's ambassador to Spain; D Fernando Heredia Noguera, deputy director for International Relations and Community Affairs at the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food; Ricardo Delgado Vizcaíno, president of COVAP and senior executives from Amul. Initially, Amul milk will be available in Madrid and Barcelona, with plans to expand soon to Malaga, Valencia, Alicante, Seville, Córdoba, and even Lisbon in neighbouring Portugal. Looking ahead, Amul aims to spread its presence to Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and beyond. Jayen Mehta, managing director of GCMMF, expressed pride in the collaboration: "Partnering with COVAP, a respected Spanish dairy cooperative, allows us to nourish Spanish consumers with the goodness of Amul milk. This is the first time Amul fresh milk is being launched in Europe and it aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to make Amul a truly global dairy brand." Marking the United Nations' International Year of Cooperatives in 2025, Mehta added, "We are confident that Amul will connect with Indians worldwide and showcase the power of cooperation between dairy cooperatives." Ricardo Delgado Vizcaíno highlighted the mutual benefits: "This partnership helps both COVAP's farmer-members and Indian dairy farmers grow their brands, combining COVAP's technology and high-quality milk with Amul's renowned global reputation." Founded in 1959 in Córdoba, COVAP is a key player in Andalusia's agri-food sector with over 2,000 farmer-members. Its state-of-the-art dairy plant processes more than 400 million litres of milk annually and exports to over 30 countries, including the US, UK, and Asia. Amul, the world's largest farmer-owned dairy cooperative, processes over 12 billion litres of milk annually. With a brand turnover exceeding $11 billion, Amul ranks as the eighth-largest milk processor globally, operating 112 dairy plants across India and handling 42 million litres of milk per day.

Pak a global threat, terrorism must be exposed: Owaisi
Hyderabad: AIMIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi , who was part of a multi-party delegation sent by the Centre to Gulf countries, said Pakistan has become a global threat by financing and sponsoring terrorism. "Pakistan is the epicentre of Takfirism and terrorism. They have no right to speak on Muslims or Islam," he told reporters, adding that officials in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria shared concerns over terrorism. "Some favoured India-Pakistan dialogue, others stressed the need to eliminate terror. We've done our job—it's now up to the Indian government," he said. Owaisi highlighted that the four nations visited are influential members of groups like the OIC, GCC, and Middle East and North Africa Financial Action Task Force (MENAFATF). He recalled their past support in 2018 when Pakistan was placed on the FATF grey list. "We hope for similar cooperation again," he added. The delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda, urged the Gulf countries to support actions against Pakistan's terror financing networks, many of which are linked to ISI and illegal financial flows. Owaisi stressed unity among Indian political parties on national issues. "There is no politics when it comes to national security. But our political opposition to BJP and RSS ideology will continue. That's the essence of democracy," he said. He demanded a special Parliament session to discuss the Pahalgam terror attack , which killed 26 people. "Was it a security lapse? Who is accountable? The PM must address the nation. If needed, an in-camera Parliament session can be held, as done in the 1960s," he said. On the Pakistan delegation led by Bilawal Bhutto, Owaisi remarked, "Bilawal should tell the world who killed his mother. The UN inquiry report said Pakistan did a shoddy job in investigating her death."

At long last: on the IPL, Royal Challengers Bengaluru's win
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) played the Indian Premier League's (IPL) inaugural game on April 18, 2008. It was a night that, however, belonged to rival Kolkata Knight Riders with Brendon McCullum's unbeaten 158 putting the match well beyond the host in its backyard at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. In the subsequent editions, the franchise with a fiercely loyal fan base, promised much, delivered little and had three runner-up finishes to show. Finally, the ghosts of the past were laid to rest when Rajat Patidar's men claimed the title with a six-run victory over Punjab Kings in the summit clash at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday night. RCB's triumph in the IPL's 18th edition was also a tribute to Virat Kohli's longevity. He has been with the squad since its first game in 2008. In a unit that featured stars such as Rahul Dravid, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle and Ross Taylor in the past, Kohli has been the forever spine. The young lad has grown into a patriarch, and he has achieved enough and more with the Indian team, both as player and captain, but a missing IPL trophy, always rankled him. Finally that aberration has been corrected and there was no mistaking the relief and joy that coursed through him on a surreal June night. Patidar's assurance, Kohli's experience, spinner Krunal Pandya's choking spells, and Josh Hazlewood's sharp pace, all combined well while many others dished out cameos to keep RCB in the hunt through the latest IPL. Even if the cup proved elusive, Punjab Kings did remarkably well, especially its captain Shreyas Iyer; he will have a larger role with the Indian ODI team whenever Rohit Sharma and Kohli bid adieu to that format. Among the rest, Mumbai Indians, after a lukewarm start, surged back and found a berth in the play-offs, one that also featured Gujarat Titans. If the IPL was all about RCB's redemption song and Punjab Kings' chutzpah, equally, it mirrored the decline of a pedigreed outfit, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), which finished last. An ageing M.S. Dhoni could not stem the rot and former champion CSK will have to rebuild afresh in the coming editions. Having commenced on March 22, the IPL stretched interminably and a break caused by the Pahalgam terror attack and the resultant Operation Sindoor, forced a change in schedule. The IPL also highlighted talented players such as young Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Sai Sudharsan. As a sporting brand, the league is formidable but, as Kohli said, Tests are five levels above in quality and, hopefully, modern players will respect this reality.
