Texas A&M's Henry Coleman reflects on his time in Bryan-College Station
It's not every day you come across a player who exemplifies everything you want as a team leader and university representative. Texas A&M was lucky enough to find such a player in outgoing senior Texas A&M basketball forward Henry Coleman III.
Coleman transferred to Texas A&M for the 2021-22 season after spending his freshman season at Duke. After playing at A&M, he was one of five players to log 1,000 points, 600 rebounds, and 100 steals. His accomplishments off the court are just as impressive as those on the court. Below is a list of those accomplishments.
Leadership Roles:
Served as the Chair of the SEC Basketball Leadership Council for his dedication to guiding and inspiring his peers (2023-24)
Participant in the SEC Spring meeting (2022-24)
Nolan Richardson National Player of the Year (2025)
Community Sevice:
Named to the SEC Community Service Team (2023-24)
Mental Health Advocacy:
He played a leadership role in the F.A.C.E. (Fostering Athletes' Continued Excellence) Mental Health initiative, which focuses on raising awareness, building community, and advocating for mental health among student-athletes.
Every team needs a few Henry Colemans, and his contributions to college basketball will not be forgotten. He gave his all to the Aggie community and is grateful for his time in Bryan-College Station.
Henry Coleman III's legacy extends far beyond basketball, embodying excellence, resilience, and leadership both on and off the court. We wish him a long and successful career in whatever comes next in his bright future.

T.J. Watt's potential fines for skipping Steelers mandatory minicamp revealed
T.J. Watt's potential fines for skipping Steelers mandatory minicamp revealed T.J. Watt's contract dispute has led him to no-show Steelers mandatory minicamp — and hefty fines could be the price to pay. Insider Adam Schefter revealed that players on veteran deals could be subjected to up to $100,000 in fines for missing mandatory minicamp — and here is what the Steelers star defender could face per day: Day 1: $17,462 Day 2: $34,925 Day 3: $52,381 Total: $104,768 It remains to be seen if the Steelers will impose the fines, but if Watt's rumored $41 million per year asking price is to be believed, $100K would mean little in the long run. Watt isn't the only edge defender seeking a new contract, as Bengals star DE Trey Hendrickson also skipped mandatory minicamp amid extension talks. While Watt remains absent from mandatory minicamp, all eyes will turn to OLBs Alex Highsmith, Nick Herbig, and rookie Jack Sawyer this offseason. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin breaks his silence on T.J. Watt holdout amid minicamp absence
Steelers HC Mike Tomlin breaks his silence on T.J. Watt holdout amid minicamp absence Day 1 of Steelers mandatory minicamp has come and gone — and T.J. Watt was nowhere to be found. The Steelers star defender is likely channeling the energy of his former hold-in that resulted in a major payday just days before the start of the 2021 regular season — and HC Mike Tomlin wasted little time addressing the elephant in the room. Regarding Watt's mandatory minicamp absence, Tomlin made it clear he was neither shocked nor worried about Watt's future in the Steel City (courtesy of Teresa Varley, "Certainly, we'd like him to be here, but certainly not surprised by where we are," said Tomlin. "We've expressed a desire to get the business done. He has as well. So, we'll continue to work. We've been here before." Even at 30 years old, Watt remains the unquestioned life force of the Steelers defense — a pass-rush monster designed to create havoc in opposing backfields that deserves to get paid sooner than later. MSU target, 3-star DL Gavin Neil picks up offer from Boston College
MSU target, 3-star DL Gavin Neil picks up offer from Boston College A Michigan State defensive lineman target is gaining some traction on the recruiting trail, with a power four school extending him an offer this week. Gavin Neil of Chicago Heights, Ill. announced on Tuesday that he's received an offer from Boston College. Neil posted on his social media X account to share the notable offer from the Eagles. Neil is a three-star defensive lineman in the 2026 class, and holds a recruiting rating of 86 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 140 defensive lineman and No. 34 player from Illinois in the class. Michigan State and Boston College are the only two power four conference schools to offer Neil at this point in his recruitment, according to 247Sports. He holds other offers from smaller schools such as Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Marshall, Wyoming, Air Force, Army and Northern Illinois. Neil is set to take an official visit to Michigan State on June 20, and is currently projected to end up a Spartan via 247Sports' crystal ball predictions. So this latest offer from Boston College could threaten the Spartans' chances of landing his commitment later this month. This is certainly a prospect to keep an eye on as we progress through the next few weeks.
