SP T. Srinivasa Rao Orders Swift Action on Public Complaints During Praja Vani in Jogulamba Gadwal.
The SP chaired the Praja Vani (Public Grievance Redressal) program on Monday, during which he personally received 19 complaints, primarily concerning land disputes, from citizens hailing from various parts of the district.
The event saw the participation of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Moggalayya, along with Circle Inspectors from Alampur, Gadwal, and Shantinagar regions.
During the proceedings, SP Srinivasa Rao reviewed the action taken on previously filed complaints by seeking detailed updates from the concerned Circle Officers. He also conducted direct phone interactions with Station House Officers (SHOs) of relevant police stations to assess ongoing efforts and issue necessary instructions.
The SP emphasized strict legal action against the following:
Individuals threatening public peace and security.
Those involved in land encroachments.
Fraudsters who cheat innocent people.
Persons committing acts of violence and intimidation.
Women's Safety – A Priority
SP Srinivasa Rao underlined the need for immediate police response in cases involving harassment, threats, or mistreatment of women. He clearly instructed the officials to take firm legal steps against the perpetrators in such cases.
He also stressed the importance of peaceful resolution of domestic disputes between spouses. As a part of this initiative, he directed that concerned couples be referred to the weekly counseling sessions conducted every Saturday under the supervision of the District Police Department at the DSP Office premises. These sessions aim to provide awareness and reconciliation support.
Civil Disputes to Be Settled Legally
In cases related to civil matters, particularly property disputes, SP Srinivasa Rao advised the public to seek resolution through legal channels and courts, emphasizing the role of the judiciary in delivering fair outcomes.

Show-cause notice served on police constable for ‘high-handed' behaviour
A show-cause notice has been issued to a police constable for allegedly behaving in a high-handed manner with a petitioner during the Praja Vani, the weekly-grievance redressal meeting, held at the Integrated District Offices Complex (IDOC) in Jagtial town on Monday. The move follows allegations of rude behaviour by the constable towards the petitioner identified as Raja Gangaram, a physically challenged man, from Muthyampeta village in Mallapur mandal, source said. The incident occurred during the Praja Vani meeting when Raja Gangaram had arrived at the venue to submit his petition to the district authorities seeking a tap connection to his house in his native village. Meanwhile, official sources denied reports that the physically challenged petitioner was dragged away from the Praja Vani meeting hall. He squatted at the venue for around 45 minutes after submitting his petition despite the officials' assurance to resolve his grievance promptly, sources added.

Siddalinga Swami booked for giving call to demolish tomb on Central University campus
The District Police have lodged a complaint against Sri Ram Sene national president and head of Karuneshwar Mutt in Andola village of Jewargi taluk Siddalinga Swami for what is being said misleading people to incite communal tension by demanding the demolition of tomb on Central University of Karnataka campus in Kalaburagi claiming that they were illegal structures constructed in the recent period. The seer said that Muslims recently constructed a tomb on university campus and are offering prayer regularly and threatened that he will demolish the tomb structure on Sunday, if the district authorities failed to raze the structure to the ground. The complainant, police personnel Ramaling, along with his staff Fakirappa, on August 4 conducted spot inspection on university campus and found that a tomb present there seems to be nearly a century-old and clarified that no new structures have been erected as claimed by Siddalinga Swami. The remarks made by the seer are an attempt to incite violence and fuel communal tensions which is a grave threat to communal harmony, the complaint stated. A case has been registered at Narona Police Station against Siddalinga Swami under Sections 192, 299 and 302 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for willfully giving provocation with intent to cause riot, promoting enmity between different groups on the ground of religion, deliberate and malicious act and making statement deliberately to hurt religious sentiments.

'Such illegal migrants shall have to be kept in put at secured designated locations for providing shelter and humanitarian support without allowing them to get mixed up or naturalised with local Populace'.The advisory stated, 'All such illegal migrants shall be deported after following due procedures. All Deputy Commissioners shall constitute District level Committee with members from District Police to conduct checking at all suspected locations and shall conduct regular review of the same. Deputy Commissioners shall regularly monitor the Exit-Entry Points under the Border Pass System. Tracing of defaulters/ overstayed cases shall be done through District Police.'It added that the district level Task Force for checking of illegal migrants shall have to be made operational at the earliest.
