On Monday, July 21, 2025, rapper Tyler, The Creator dropped a music video for 'Stop Playing with Me,' which features Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James and Maverick Carter.
About 80 seconds into the music video, Carter and James are shown alongside Tyler, The Creator. Carter is wearing a dark blue shirt, while James is decked out in a denim jacket, a white T-shirt, and jeans. He is also wearing a bucket hat as he vibes to the song.
Their cameo was brief, but it was cool to see James and Carter make an appearance. Tyler, The Creator's latest album, Don't Tap the Glass, dropped on July 21, so expect more music videos soon.
LeBron James and Maverick Carter's relationship
James and Carter own the production company SpringHill Entertainment together. They founded the company in 2020, and their first project was Antoine Fuqua's HBO documentary, What's My Name: Muhammad Ali.

Taking to social media, Carter shared a brief statement about the show, reassuring fans that Tiny Desk will remain despite the massive blow of CPB shutting down later this year. 'I've heard from many friends, family and audience members who are worried that NPR/Tiny Desk is shutting down. It is not,' Carter shared on both X and Instagram. 'Unfortunately, CPB is shutting down. I encourage everyone to support Public Media and donate.' Carter ended his statement with, 'I appreciate all the calls, texts, and messages. They have been overwhelming and heartwarming.' George Clooney wants everyone to know Adam Sandler is much more than a funnyman. The pair star in the forthcoming Netflix film 'Jay Kelly' which centers around 'famous movie actor Jay Kelly (Clooney) and his devoted manager Ron (Sandler) as they embark on a whirlwind and unexpectedly profound journey through Europe.' The pair talked to Vanity Fair about the project and Clooney shared his admiration for Sandler's work on the film. 'This film — more than any film Adam has done — shows what a beautiful, heartfelt, soulful actor he is,' Clooney told the publication. 'I kept telling the cast, 'Don't call him Sand Man. Don't talk to him like he's just some goofy comedian. He's actually a really beautiful, wonderful actor.'' Sandler – who has previously earned critical acclaim for his dramatic roles, including 2002's 'Punch-Drunk Love,' 2019's 'Uncut Gems,' and 'Hustle' in 2022 – echoed the feelings of appreciation.
