While filming On Swift Horses, Diego Calva experienced some whiplash that was not equestrian-related.
The Golden Globe nominee recalled suffering 'neck pain' while kissing 6'5″ scene partner Jacob Elordi in some steamy scenes from the Daniel Minahan-helmed queer romance, now playing in theaters.

'There was one moment, probably the first scene when I realised how tall Jacob was and it was my first time acting looking up,' he told Attitude. 'He was laughing at me! He's way taller – I had like a neck pain for the first week from just kissing.'
Calva also admitted to being intimidated around his co-star in their nude scenes. 'Believe me, being naked around Jacob Elordi is intimidating! He's like a fucking god! He's too perfect! … It's hard not to do a hot scene with Jacob shirtless!' he said.
In On Swift Horses, Muriel (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and husband Lee (Will Poulter) begin a new life together in California after he returns home from the Korean War. But the arrival of Lee's charismatic younger brother Julius (Elordi) threatens to upend their new home.
As Muriel sparks an affair with her neighbor Sandra (Sasha Calle), Julius moves to Las Vegas and finds work in a casino, where he begins his own romance with co-worker Henry (Calva).

New iPhone iOS 26 Features Revealed in Leaks

Apple's iOS 26 is on the horizon, and a series of leaks have garnered significant attention from users. These early reports give users a glimpse of what to expect when Apple officially unveils the next version of iOS. Now, many are curious to know more about the leaks. As Apple prepares to reveal iOS 26, some interesting new features have leaked ahead of the official announcement. While much of the buzz surrounds a big redesign, smaller updates are also expected to improve everyday apps. Messages – The Messages app may feature a real-time translation. This would allow incoming messages written in a foreign language to be instantly translated using Apple's built-in AI tools, providing a smoother experience for multilingual conversations. Additionally, Messages may gain the ability to create in-chat polls. Users may soon be able to generate polls directly in group chats, with Apple Intelligence helping to draft poll options based on the context of the conversation. Apple Music – Apple Music might also see a visual boost. Leaks suggest that animated album artwork will be extended to the Lock Screen in full-screen mode, replacing the current static square display. This change would offer a more dynamic and immersive Now Playing experience. Notes – The Notes app could receive a productivity-focused upgrade. A long-requested option to export notes in Markdown format may finally become available. This much-requested feature would allow notes to be saved in plain-text format with formatting intact. This would be a valuable addition for users who prefer flexible formatting and use external editors. CarPlay – Lastly, CarPlay appears to be getting its own design changes. Though not previously mentioned in leaks, the in-car software is now rumored to adopt the same design language as the rest of Apple's OS ecosystem. Apple is expected to announce all major platform updates on June 9. Originally reported by Disheeta Maheshwari on ComingSoon. Apple teases 'Slow Horses' season 5 first look and a 'Ted Lasso' star joins the cast

Are we about to get a "Slow Horses" season 5 and "Ted Lasso" crossover episode? Probably not, but Apple did just announce that one member of the AFC Richmond team will be a guest star in the upcoming season of the hit Apple TV Plus British spy thriller. In a press release, the tech giant's streaming service revealed that Nick Mohammed will be joining "Slow Horses" season 5 in an unknown guest starring role. This came alongside a release date announcement that confirmed a Wednesday, September 24 release date for season 5. I'm very curious to see what role Mohammed will play in the upcoming season of what's frankly been the best show on TV over the past several years. In "Ted Lasso," he showed the ability to play the good guy and the villain, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go in either direction. Whatever role he plays, though, it'll likely only be a brief appearance. That doesn't mean it won't be impactful, but the fact that he's listed as a "special guest star" indicates it won't be a regular role this season — though he could feature in future installments. A recent example of this is Kaitlyn Dever in "The Last of Us" season 2, who was a guest star and made a huge impact on the show, but only appeared in a handful of scenes across three episodes. Yet, Dever will play a bigger role in "The Last of Us" season 3. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Alongside the release date and casting announcement, we also got a first look at Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb in season 5. Lamb will, unsurprisingly, lead "Slow Horses" season 5, which is an adaptation of Mick Herron's fifth novel in the "Slough House" series, "London Rules." Apple's official synopsis reads: "In season 5 of 'Slow Horses,' everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend, but when a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Jackson Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, 'London Rules' should always apply." Malcolm has been with Tom's Guide since 2022, and has been covering the latest in streaming shows and movies since 2023. He's not one to shy away from a hot take, including that "John Wick" is one of the four greatest films ever made. Here's what he's been watching lately:

Apple iOS 26: 4 iPhone Apps To Gain Important Updates In Days, Report Claims

Apple's World Wide Developers Conference starts soon (on Monday, June 9) and it's widely expected to include significant updates to the design of apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and more. A new report says that four of the most popular built-in apps are to gain new features. Notes and other apps are about to be updated, it seems. The apps in question are Messages, Music, Notes and CarPlay, according to a new report at 9to5Mac. Your mileage will vary, but I use the first three of these multiple times a day, and CarPlay, well, when I'm in the car, obviously. The Apple Messages app already offers great security and lots of neat features, but it seems that live translation of incoming and outgoing messages is on the horizon. This is handy if someone sends you a message in another language, perhaps because they're passing on something they didn't understand, and you'll see it in your language instantly. Additionally, it's claimed Apple is working on putting polls into Messages, something already available in WhatsApp, for instance. If Apple Intelligence is worked in here, it could suggest a poll based on your messages. Separately, it's also thought that Apple could introduce end-to-end encryption for Messages going to or from Android phones as part of Apple's embrace of RCS. Details of that here. The Music app, this and other reports say, could show animated album art on the lock screen, not just in the app itself. That could be neat. I probably use Notes more than any other app. It's so versatile. In iOS 26, the app may introduce export for the Markdown format. This means you can easily put text in bold by typing **bold**, for instance, and when the note is exported, such formatting will remain. Finally the new design language (codenamed Solarium, it is thought) which will be front-and-center for the WWDC announcements for iOS, iPadOS, macOS and watchOS, will also be coming to CarPlay. This is not a surprise but it shows Apple hasn't just been focusing on CarPlay Ultra recently.
