Ozzy had a four-year affair with Pugh, who worked as his hairstylist at the time, leading to his brief 2016 split from Sharon. After the couple reconciled later that same year, Ozzy told Good Morning America that he and Sharon were 'back on track' after a 'bump in the road.' However, when Pugh opened up about the affair for the first time a month later, the situation seemed a lot worse than how Ozzy had characterized it.
'When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it,' she told People in August 2016. 'He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world.'
Pugh claimed that Ozzy was 'unhappy' in his marriage with Sharon and 'consistently and willingly and generously' gave her 'his love.' She added, 'We just had it. It's that indescribable thing in life, and you can't deny it. And he didn't.'
Pugh added that she was no longer in touch with Ozzy, which was a 'struggle every day' for her. 'I wake from my dreams, which some nights he's in, and for a minute when I wake I'm peaceful,' she said. 'Then the absence sets in. It's horrible.'
Reps for Ozzy shut down Pugh's claims in a statement to People. 'He is sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context,' the statement read. 'He would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with. Since his relationship with Ms. Pugh was exposed, Ozzy has gone into intense therapy.'
Ozzy and Sharon, who married in 1982, remained together until Ozzy's death. She remained by his side through recent health issues, including Parkinson's Disease and spinal surgeries. In a 2024 interview with Blabbermouth, Ozzy said, 'Sharon is like my soulmate — sometimes I love her, sometimes I don't love her, sometimes I'm angry with her, sometimes I'm crazy about her, sometimes I'm very jealous of her, sometimes I wanna f – – king kill her.'

Last week, viewers saw Kelly get so drunk and confrontational with Titheradge and his crew that it got to the point where police had to be called to step in and remove Kelly from the mega-yacht. Titheradge tells PEOPLE exclusively that viewers only get to see "a short part" of the altercation. "We could only put so much into a 45-minute episode," Titheradge says of the incident. "But it was very, very, very intense for everybody in the vessel." Titheradge calls the Kelly situation the "craziest experience" he's had as a captain. Titheradge says he "had concerns" as soon as Kelly boarded the yacht with her friends. "Her energy was intense," he recalls, adding that after being in the business as long as he has, you tend to figure out quickly "who to watch out for." As Kelly continued drinking with her friends, Titheradge says he "could hear how she was being belligerent" and, after making his own assessment of the situation, decided to cut her off from alcohol "not to punish her, but to protect her and everyone else." "It's such a hard thing to do at first because you don't want to be a party pooper, right? But it's about safety," Titheradge continues. "Her enjoyment is secondary to her safety." He explains that he instructed his crew to offer Kelly sparkling water as an alternative so as not to "embarrass" her in front of her friends, but she "refused" that option. Things took a turn for the worst when Kelly requested to go out on the banana boat and, ignoring Titheradge's request for her to wear a life jacket, jumped into the water without one in an act of defiance. After pulling Kelly out of the water, Titheradge and his crew attempted to get a handle on the situation as Kelly grew increasingly more aggressive with them. Titheradge says he has "absolutely" never had a charter guest get aggressive with him or his crew like this before. "I was trying to physically stop her from getting in the water, at first using my body to block her, but then she'd try to get past me," he remembers. "I asked the crew to move up. They kind of made a wall so she couldn't get past us to get her into a safer area of the vessel." Titheradge says he is "just very impressed" with how his crew handled the tense situation. Titheradge says the decision to get police involved was one he didn't take lightly. He says he made the call because he didn't see things improving despite many attempts to quell the situation. "She couldn't stay with us. We weren't the place for her to get better," Titheradge notes. "I tried to give her some time to chill out inside the vessel," he continues. "I had my crew staged at every exit so she couldn't get out of the boat for her own safety, but she just wouldn't calm down." Calling the police for help in a situation like this was a first for Titheradge. "Normally, it's the opposite," he jokes. Normally, I'm in Saint-Tropez and the Bose [speaker] is playing a bit too loud and I'm asking the police to leave us alone. I'm not asking them to come and help us." Titheradge praised the primary charter guest, Helen, for having a "very calming nature" and helping deal with the situation. "When things got to the point where [getting Kelly off the boat] was the only option, I couldn't send her ashore by herself," he reasons. "I mean, that wouldn't be responsible at all, so I asked Helen to go with her." Titheradge also raved about Helen's "sense of empathy" for making her "the right person to ensure Kelly wasn't left alone because she was in such a fragile state." "The next part I'm worried about is when she comes to herself, what will she do when she realizes what she's just done on TV?" he says of what he thought at the time. As seen in this week's episode, Helen rejoins the charter after taking care of Kelly throughout the night. Despite the dramatic situation, Titheradge says he's "got compassion" for Kelly. "I looked at her like a wounded animal," he says. "Mental health is very important to me, and I could see that she just wasn't there. She wasn't herself." Titheradge reveals that "the last thing" he wanted was for Kelly to get arrested, so he approached the "delicate" situation with authorities with that in mind. That, plus the officers spoke French and there were nationalities and jurisdictions to factor into the equation, too. "I really had to impart to them what the situation was because she was a danger to herself more than anybody else," he says. "I gave her plenty of time to cool down — you only saw a short part of that," Titheradge continues. "I didn't want to get the police involved in an incident that was being handled, if you know what I mean." After the dust settled, Titheradge says he has seen Kelly since that fateful day aboard the yacht, "but the incident wasn't discussed." In this Handmaids Tale-era, with abortion rights being stripped away, governmental benefits like SNAP being slashed, and even research into childhood diseases being defunded, it feels like everyone wants moms to live in pure misery. And even when we've found little ways to fight back and help ease our burdens, we get slammed for it. Enter: ChatGPT. Sure, it's OK if tech bros want to use it to make their work burdens easier or men use it to menu plan, but god forbid a woman try to share her mental load with artificial intelligence. She started posting videos of using generative AI to help her 'co-parent' and has received a ton of hate for it. The influencer used ChatGPT to create shopping lists, menu plans, help plan birthday parties and vacations, make bedtime easier, and so much more. 'I've built my own bot to be our co-parent,' the Switzerland mom of a 3-year-old told New York Post. She added that she uses ChatGPT 'to make me a better mom.' Schmidt credits 'the mental load' for her use of ChatGPT, adding that her partner is 'very involved with the kids and does his fair share,' but that still leads her to 'do the thinking.' 'I asked ChatGPT to assume the role of a toddler therapist,' Schmidt told the outlet, 'someone who understands their development. I asked it 'help me understand why bed time is hard for her.' For the last nearly four years we'd been told, 'She needs to relax, calm down, nothing overstimulating.' But she'd never just lie down. ChatGPT told us she needs stimulating. Let her jump around on her bed.' 'We've never once had a power struggle again. There are no tears or fights anymore. Within five to 10 minutes she goes to bed,' she added. In a world where therapy is expensive (especially if it takes a while to find the right therapist), I don't blame her at all for turning to ChatGPT for some ideas. After all, we use to have a village of support we could lean on and ask for advice and opinions. Now we have ChatGPT — and some people aren't happy about it. People took to X to shame Schmidt. 'To be honest, for some people there's nothing ChatGPT could do that make their parenting worse,' someone wrote, per Daily Dot. Another said, 'On the bright side, ChatGPT is definitely a better parent than a mother who would leave her kids for an AI to babysit. So they're getting higher quality care than they would were she just doing it herself.' It's not like she's sitting her kids in front of a computer and letting ChatGPT watch them. She's literally asking for advice on healthy recipes, looking to it for guidance on common problems, asking it to make coloring pages and bedtime stories for her daughter. Those of us who are wary of AI's impact on the environment raise a brow, but otherwise, who cares? This is no different from Googling problems or reading books or asking your parenting Facebook groups. And Schmidt isn't the only ones who turn to tech to help with motherhood. A 2024 study found that 74 percent of parents of kids ages 5-8 used ChatGPT. One mom asked on the Toddlers subreddit how to 'use ChatGPT to make your life easier as a parent?' and some people left pretty mean comments like 'f— ai.' 'With respect, please think twice before using it for parenting or anything else,' another person wrote. 'It is (literally) a plagiarism machine that feeds you unvetted information based on whatever patterns it thinks it sees in whatever its data inputs are.' Someone else warned, 'Do not use ChatGPT / Large Language Model AIs to diagnose or treat your child.' Which, fair. AI should never be used in place of a therapist or pediatrician or turned to for legitimate medical advice. Others were positive, though, including people who suggested using it to make up songs using their children's name, write thank you notes to teachers, and, yes, meal plan. In a previous interview with SheKnows, bestselling author and founder of Good Inside Dr. Becky Kennedy opened up about parents' mental health. 'There are so many causes of stress and burnout and mental health concerns [for parents],' Dr. Becky told us. 'The big theme that's on my mind is how demanding it is to be a parent right now.' She added, 'There even seems to be shame around seeking support, because of the old narrative that this is just supposed to be done by instinct.' (And she's not even talking about support by ChatGPT — just support, period!) 'When we remind ourselves, 'this feels hard because it is hard, not because I'm doing something wrong,'' Dr. Becky told us, 'we stop living in shame, and we feel more empowered to go get support.'
