Daly's unique touches include pickle juice, beef jerky garnish, and crystal-clear iceCarson Daly's wife, Siri Pinter, got candid about her husband's A-list celebrity-endorsed Bloody Mary recipe.
Pinter, 44, who's a contributor to Today's food section, shared The Voice host's, 52, famous cocktail recipe with the outlet, and added her behind-the-scenes notes on her husband's commitment to the drink.
'You have no idea how coveted this recipe is,' wrote Pinter. 'This particular Bloody Mary might be more famous than Carson (sorry, husband).'
She went on to say, 'He has all of these ingredients stocked at home, in his dressing room at the Today show, in his trailer at The Voice.'
Pinter, who tied the knot with Daly in December 2015, added that the cocktail is highly requested of her husband and that he's 'perfected it.'
One famous fan of Daly's cocktail is Blake Shelton, who even had Daly guest feature on Facebook Live during a 2020 Bloody Mary contest, calling Daly the 'expert in Bloody Marys.'
'I don't know anybody that makes a better Bloody Mary than Carson Daly," said the 'Texas' singer. 'Carson is known for his Bloody Marys around the cast and crew of The Voice; he's actually given gifts of the ingredients and the recipe of his Bloody Mary for Christmas to everybody before.'
The ingredients for his version of the cocktail are standard — Mr & Mrs T 'Original' mixer, Ketel One vodka, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, lemon juice, hot sauce, celery salt and black pepper — along with his unique notes, including pickle juice and garnishes of beef jerky, lemon wedges and celery stalks.
Daly also shared what he called 'the key to a great Bloody Mary' in a 2014 interview with Today.
'You want to have clear ice,' noted Carson. 'I will drive to the liquor store and buy clear ice rather than [using] the ice in my refrigerator. The cloudy ice melts fast and ruins a drink ... A cold Bloody Mary is very important.'

Jennifer Aniston Makes Rare Comment on Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie

Originally appeared on E! Online The one where Jennifer Aniston takes on the tabloids. It's been 20 years since the Friends alum announced her separation from then-husband Brad Pitt—amid rumblings that the actor had sparked a romance with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie—but Aniston still remembers that "love triangle" era all too well. 'It was such juicy reading for people," the Morning Show actress told Vanity Fair in an interview published August 11. "If they didn't have their soap operas, they had their tabloids.' "It's a shame that it had to happen, but it happened," she added. "And boy did I take it personally.' As for her mindset at the time? "Just pick yourself up by the bootstraps," she explained, "and keep on walking, girl.' The same year that Aniston, 56, and Pitt, 61, called it quits, he officially moved on with Jolie, 50, and the new couple even posed for pictures together in a spread for W magazine, titled "Domestic Bliss," depicting them as married with kids. (Pitt and Jolie later married in 2014 before she filed for divorce two years later, leading to a decade-long legal battle.) More from E! Online Did an Orca Really Kill Trainer Jessica Radcliffe? 60-Year-Old Model's Real Body Photos Go Viral

Paulina Porizkova, the Czech supermodel who became one of the most recognizable faces throughout the '80s and '90s, is going viral for her honest take on aging. For her 60th birthday, Porizkova posted side-by-side images on Instagram of her body at 60. In the first, she's kneeling on a beach cabana in a bikini. The caption reads: "This is me. Vacation, pretty light, posing for a shot." In the second, she stands for a casual selfie in her bathroom at home. "This is also me. Home, not great light, not posing," she wrote. Alongside the images, she reflected on what 60 means to her, writing, "This is 60. This is 60 years of sometimes healthy eating, sometimes not. 60 years of sometimes working out, sometimes not. 60 years of doing the right things followed by doing the wrong things and over again and again. It's 60 years of learning of what works and what doesn't. And just as I think I've figured it out, everything changes and I have to start again." She ended, "The beauty of 60 is that now I understand the importance is IN the lesson, not passing the exam." In a world where beauty standards keep getting more extreme, and social media often favors faces that look decades younger than they are, many have found it refreshing to see a supermodel be candid about aging. The comments quickly flooded with gratitude and personal stories. One person wrote: "Thank you for sharing and being real. I often see images of women on here going 'this is' and then whatever age they are but it's ALWAYS a super flattering photo not ever the realness of our ageing bodies. How are we ever going to accept ourselves if we're not seeing ourselves ✌🏽🧡🦋." Others shared their own struggles and the freedom that comes with letting go of perfection: "Looking gorgeous, as always, Paulina. I'm 64 and while I still hate my stomach—no matter how light the numbers on the scale read, it makes me sad—but with my sixties came this wonderful sense of 'f*ck it all,' and I keep on going." Many said her post helped them feel less alone. "THANK YOU - turning 60 this year and was feeling bad about myself but now I see I am totally normal - actually feel great now - THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS - so important for real women to see real women," one wrote. "Love you for showing that you are bit normal and that makes me feel better about myself 💕," another added. "Thank you for being REAL," this person said. In a interview back in January with TODAY, Paulina reflected on her career, her new partnership with Estée Lauder, and her life now — sharing how she hopes to use her platform to shift the conversation around aging and beauty. "I'm almost 60! I'm almost two months to 60 and I have never been so thrilled about a birthday in my life," she said. She continued, "I feel like I've paid my dues. I've raised the children, had the family, I've been the wife, I've done everything society expected of me. And you know what? It's my turn." When asked how she challenges the stigma around aging, Paulina replied, "We're so scared of wrinkles, have you noticed that? We are so terrified of wrinkles because I suppose wrinkles make us no longer relevant, no longer sexy, no longer desirable, and as women, that has been sort of our calling card." Yet, she added, "I keep looking at wrinkles, mine, yours, any woman that I see, and I think, 'It's your map of life. I see how you are as a person.'" "Why do we make wrinkles on the same par as acne?" she went on. "You know, those are the two things that people go to the dermatologist for, is acne and wrinkles. Acne is a disease, and wrinkles are the signs of privilege that you are alive. Why eliminate, why not embrace them? And I understand why, because society tells us that they don't want us once we become wrinkled." Since that interview — and outside of her birthday post — Paulina has continued to share photos and posts that challenge expectations of what aging "should" look like. In one post, she shared a photo of herself with what she called "an unfortunate angle and seriously unflattering light" to challenge the unrealistic standards and expectations on the app. "In selecting my photos for IG, I almost unconsciously gravitate to pictures where I look best — as in youngest. Least wrinkled, least saggy. So, in the last year or so I'm consciously choosing some that I would have never posted before," she wrote in the caption. In an online world that feeds me — a 27-year-old — consistent applause for face-lifts, advice on the "best" time to start preventative Botox, tips for hiding fine lines "before it's too late," and constant pressure to filter, Facetune, and alter my appearance to meet impossible standards, seeing an older woman embrace a natural process feels refreshing. We're taught to fear aging as early as children, so Paulina's openness is a perspective I think we need more of. Of course, Paulina is a supermodel, so I think the message is easier to swallow for some (would we be as accepting if she weren't already considered beautiful?). Still, I'm grateful to see even a hint of change. But what do you think? Let me know in the comments.

Is Lady Gaga's ‘Wednesday' Role Everything It Seems?

When Lady Gaga signed on to Tim Burton's Wednesday for a guest-starring role, fan speculation ramped up in the spooky spheres. The internet seemingly manifested this casting with a TikTok setting the iconic season one scene of Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) at the Rave n' Dance to Lady Gaga's 'Bloody Mary' from her 2011 hit album Born This Way. The moment went viral, and the trend reached the pop star, who performed the dance on her social media before announcing she would be joining the Wednesday cast. BLOODY WEDNESDAY #fyp ♬ original sound – Paul During Netflix's Tudum event, Gaga performed a medley of her dark pop music, complete with an army of Wednesdays to do the dance, while inviting Ortega on stage for a meal of a moment. It really ratcheted up the excitement, but little was known about who Gaga would be portraying. In an official X post, Netflix described her role as Rosaline Rotwood, a 'legendary' teacher at Nevermore Academy. This cryptic detail was also shared: Rosaline Rotwood. Cloaked in mystery with a reputation that precedes her. Our paths will surely cross. Welcome to mayhem @LadyGaga. — Wednesday Addams (@wednesdayaddams) June 1, 2025However, in a recent conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Ortega decided to throw a little signature chaos into the discourse of who Gaga is really playing. 'She's not a teacher,' Ortega revealed. 'She's not. Whatever you heard, it's wrong.' So that brings us to some Gagaspeculation of who Stefani Germanotta might really be playing when season two of Wednesday returns with its second set of episodes. Spoilers below!Wednesday season two has thus far teased many roles Gaga's Rosaline Rotwood, legendary teacher, could potentially step into. Let's break them down: Ophelia Frump: Morticia's missing sister possessed similar powers to Wednesday and was driven mad by them. After finding out what LOIS is—the Willow Hill secret experiments on outcasts to transfer powers to normies—you're led to believe this is probably where Ophelia ended up. At the end you see Wednesday interact with a woman whose identity we're unsure of; she thanks her 'angel' for saving her. It feels purposefully unclear if it's Ophelia or Tyler's mother. I personally don't think it's Ophelia at the end (it's probably Tyler's mom based off the normie vibes), and I hope Gaga will still play the missing Frump sister to Catherine Zeta-Jones' Morticia. They both can sing, so it would be even more fitting. Tyler's Mom: This would be too on the nose, if the woman at the end was Ophelia and not Tyler's mom. Mother Monster playing a monster's mother? Please, no. New ancestral power spirit guide: This can go so many ways. Perhaps Ophelia died and she's going to be Wednesday's guide, whom she meets while in her coma. Or maybe her spirit guide is a former teacher (not current) named Rosaline Rotwood, whom she could meet in her purgatorial bedridden state. Imagine your spirit wandering school halls while in near death? Now, that's hell. Debbie Jelinsky: Okay, this is more joke speculation but it would have been fun to see Gaga as a Debbie Jelinsky type of character, the black widow bride who was iconically played by Joan Cusack in The Addams Family Values. Fester already had a love story with the Willow Hill lunch lady (not played by Gaga), so this is probably not in the cards unless they get Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan to do it in a later season; her impression is dead-on, plus she is in the Netflix family. Wednesday season two part one is currently streaming on Netflix; part two drops September 3. Want more io9 news?
