Aimee Osbourne's estranged family life away from fame as she reveals final selfless act for dad Ozzy
Aimee Osbourne is the lesser known eldest child of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne who has chosen to keep a low profile outside of the public eye over the years while her famous family thrive in the spotlight. Unlike her siblings Kelly and Jack, who starred in The Osbournes reality show which aired from 2002 until 2005, little is known about the 41-year-old, who refused to participate in the programme when she was a teen.
Dad-of-six Ozzy also has three children - Jessica, Louis and Elliot - from his first marriage to Thelma Riley, who are rarely seen. The Black Sabbath frontman passed away on July 22, just two weeks after playing his final farewell concert with his bandmates at Villa Park on July 5.
His devoted wife Sharon Osbourne was seen breaking down in tears yesterday at Ozzy's funeral in heartbreaking scenes. The 72-year-old was supported by Kelly, Jack and Aimee and thousands of devoted fans as the funeral procession made its way down Birmingham's Broad Street.
Ozzy and Sharon's eldest daughter is a singer who releases music under the name ARO, the Mirror reports.
She was born in London in 1983 and previously lived with her famous family in California, where they filmed their iconic show, The Osbournes.
Aimee was aged 16 when filming began and chose to move out of the family home as she didn't want to take part in the reality series.
She told the Independent in 2015: "Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life.
"So why on earth would I want that portrayed on television? I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable."
In 2020, Sharon explained that she understood Aimee's decision to not appear on the show.
Speaking on The Talk, she said: "We had about 30 crew, 24 hours a day. The house wasn't a home any more, it was a studio, so I get why she didn't like it."
In terms of Aimee's relationship with her siblings, Kelly opened up about their relationship and in 2021 said: "We don't talk".
Talking on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, Kelly explained: "We're just really different. She doesn't understand me and I don't understand her."
Speaking to Clevelan d in 2021, Aimee, who released her debut album Vacare Adamaré in 2020, opened up about her love for music.
She said: "I started writing, secretly, as a teenager. I also would write a lot of poetry - I was always creative in that way, less academically inclined.
"My parents overheard me kind of singing in my room. It was a friend of my parents who said, 'Oh, you should come and stay with me and work with some producers and see what happens'."
It's believed that Aimee lives in Los Angeles, where she recently listed her stunning mid-century home for a whopping $4.4 million (£3.3 million).
In a selfless final act for her father, the rarely-seen sister is set to start in a new documentary about rock legend Ozzy.
Aimee will feature alongside her mum Sharon and siblings Jack and Kelly in the upcoming full-length film dedicated to the Prince of Darkness.
Titled Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now, the documentary is slated for release later this year.
Filming for the show started before the star's death, with a big focus on Ozzy's health battles after his serious fall in 2019 that had life-altering consequences.

The film is also set to capture intimate behind the scenes moments from Ozzy's final show at Villa Park.
An industry source revealed: "Aimee never wanted to be in the spotlight; she was never comfortable with the attention.
"However, she believed the documentary about her father's life was a fitting way to break cover, as the special has a deep and emotive angle.
"The audience will be just as captivated by Aimee's insights as they are to discover how Ozzy has managed during his more challenging years."

Motorhead fans remember Lemmy Kilmister at music event in Burslem
Since the statue of Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister was unveiled in his hometown in May, it has become a point of pilgrimage for fans from across the Sunday, rock fans gathered in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, to celebrate his legacy and help raise money for a project to turn the Queen's Hall into a 900-seater concert venue to be renamed Kilmister included live music, food trucks, merchandise stalls, an art exhibition, retro clothing and pre-loved record stalls, as well as a motorbike died almost 10 years ago, on 28 December 2015, in Los Angeles, just four days after his 70th birthday. Artist Lea Williams was among those who attended Sunday's event."It's amazing to actually be here and see so many fans coming for the same reason - all united for the love of Lemmy - and also for Ozzy," she Williams said the pair were both there in spirit. Birmingham legend and Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne died on 22 July."Lemmy and Ozzy go together like salt and pepper," she told BBC Radio added that the statue had put Burslem "back on the map". The statue's creator, Andy Edwards, was behind this weekend's spectacle and said his sculpture had been exactly what the area needed, adding that it drew people to the area from miles around."Lemmy is to Burslem what Shakespeare is to Stratford," he said. "Today proves that."He said the day had been "absolute chaos", but that was "fantastic – it's what we want".He added that the Queen's Hall had a lot of potential, with a live music venue alongside a music school, as well as the possibility that EMI's Abbey Road Studios may consider opening a recording studio there."All the elements are here," Mr Edwards said. Love Island couple ordered to leave the villa just hours before ITV final
One Love Island couple are being voted out of the villa by their former islanders. As we gear up for the semi-final of one of the most explosive Love Island seasons yet, two more islanders are set to be ruthlessly dumped from the villa, as they are voted out by their former friends and rivals, who aren't holding back. One couple won't make it to the final of the show, as the latest teaser reveals a tense moment where all the previously dumped Islanders return to the villa for one last, game changing decision. The official Love Island account took to Instagram to share the short clip from Sunday evening's episode, alongside the caption: "First look! Ex-Islanders return for a savage dumping, and they're not holding back." Host Maya Jama appears to have returned to the villa one last time before she gets ready for the final, and is seen entering the villa to announce the latest twist. After a dramatic slow-motion walk into the villa, Maya shouts: "Hello, hello, hello. Are you alright my loves? How was the dates? Are you all loved up? Well I have some very important news. Can you come and join me on the lawn?" The remaining couples in the villa are Yas and Jamie, Cach and Toni, Harry and Shakira, Ty and Angel, and Meg and Dejon, the Mirror reports. Maya delivers the news: "Well today, one more couple will be dumped from the Love Island villa and that decision will be made by some very familiar faces." Among the returning islanders is Sophie Lee, who joined at the start of the series and became the first to be dumped on day two. Viewers will also see the return of Tommy who was once considered a frontrunner to win, before being dumped by Shakira. The teaser sent fans into a frenzy as they speculated which couple the dumped islanders would be giving the boot. One viewer wrote: "Sorry, but after Thursday and Friday, it's gotta be Meg and Dejon. Their time is up", while another simply stated: "Harry & Shakira.. your time is up!" A third shared their thoughts and penned: "For all the years of watching Love Island, it's my first time feeling this nervous about the finals. I swear my anxiety level is through the roof." A forth fan stated: "Do the right thing and only let Yas, Jamie, or Cach near that money for goodness sake," while another expressed: "I swear if Shakira, Toni, or Yaz go home, I might have to have some therapy sessions" Only time will tell who the dumped Islanders will vote for and which couple will say their goodbyes just a day before the final. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX, and the final will air tomorrow (August 4) at 9pm.
