Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Qualifier 1 IPL 2025 Live Streaming: Punjab Kings take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru in a high-voltage Qualifier 1 of the IPL 2025. Shreyas Iyer's roaring Punjab brigade battles it out for supremacy against Rajat Patidar's high-flying Bengaluru juggernaut, with a place in the IPL 2025 final up for grabs. The contest that sets the business end of the tournament rolling will be played at the MYS International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur and kick-off at 7:30 PM IST.
Punjab broke an 11-year jinx to storm into the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Iyer's men secured a numero uno finish in the league stage with their ninth win on Monday when they got the better of Mumbai Indians.
Impressive spells from Arshdeep Singh (2/28) and Marco Jansen (2/34) helped restrict the power-packed MI batting line-up to 184/7. Then PBKS openers Priyansh Arya (63) and Josh Inglis (73) played terrific knocks to put their team in the ascendancy before captain Iyer struck 26* to take his team home in the penultimate over.
On the other hand, RCB overcame a similarly high-stakes game against the Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday to secure a top two berth.
Stand-in captain Jitesh Sharma led his troops valiantly and came up with a tremendous knock of 85 not out off 33 deliveries as RCB stormed past LSG's gigantic score of 227/3 in an excellent chase.
Giving Jitesh company was middle-order maverick Mayank Agarwal, whose quickfire 41* never allowed the asking rate to jump out of RCB's grasp. In a collective effort, the Jitesh-Agarwal duo maximised the fine start provided by RCB openers Phil Salt (30) and Virat Kohli (54).
Kohli continued his rich vein of form for the side, scoring his eighth half-century of the season.

"I Have No Doubt": AB de Villiers' Big Virat Kohli Prediction For IPL 2025 Final
South African batting great AB de Villiers is backing "ultimate team man" Virat Kohli to play a big hand in the IPL final and lead a multi-dimensional Royal Challengers Bengaluru outfit to its maiden title in the world's biggest T20 league. Chasing a paltry 102, RCB crushed Punjab Kings by eight wickets in the first qualifier here on Thursday to storm into the final of the 2025 edition of the league. One of their biggest performers this season, Kohli (12) missed out with the bat in the one-sided game, but his former RCB teammate De Villiers is confident the Indian superstar would fire in the title clash in Ahmedabad on June 3. "The first time I saw him on the screen for PBKS vs RCB game, was when he got out of the bus, and I just saw a lot of focus in that guy. That's the typical kind of body language we're so used to seeing. "And what I love most about this is -- he didn't score runs today, but we still saw him right till the end, celebrating with the batters," De Villiers told JioHotstar. "The ultimate team man, and he looks very, very focused. Obviously, the job's not done yet, but I'm very excited to watch him play. I have no doubt in my mind he's going to play a big hand in the final," the South African added. RCB, who was one of the participating teams when the IPL began way back in 2008 with eight franchises, have never won the IPL title despite reaching the finals on three occasions in the past. De Villiers shared his thoughts about RCB's journey and their potential to win the title this time. "I think 2011 was a really good chance to win the title. Everyone talks about the 2016 season, but let's forget about the past. Where are RCB now? In another final -- 2025. It's closer than you think and smaller than you think. "So hopefully those little moments will go in RCB's favour, come the 3rd of June. It was around the auction time when I felt like RCB really got the balance right this year. It's not a one-dimensional batting line-up, not a one-dimensional bowling line-up -- there are options. "I just loved the look of that squad when I saw it come out. They found a way to gel together as a unit. As you can see, all the players individually chipped in at times, and that is a sign of a healthy environment," De Villiers said. Having missed a few games over last couple of weeks, pace spearhead Josh Hazlewood (3/21) marked his return with a brilliant exhibition of fast bowling, and RCB opener Phil Salt emphasised the importance of having the Australian in their ranks. "Josh is such a key figure for us -- not just with his bowling, because we know it's world-class and what he does time and again -- but also as part of the bowling unit, that sort of calm head out there for everybody else to lean on. It's massive. "And we've obviously got Bhuvi (Bhuvneshwar Kumar) as well doing the same job. So to have Josh back in the team and contributing to the bowling unit, making the observations he does, and then performing the way he did -- that's almost the cherry on top. "So pleased that he's back fit again for us." Salt said.

‘Ye paani pilata hai': Virat Kohli's remark on Musheer Khan sparks debate online, Video goes viral
Royal Challengers Bengaluru had a great night on the fielf on Thursday as they completely demolished Punjab Kings batting and later chased down the total of 102 runs with ease. While RCB's turnaround in the IPL this year and their Final berth has been the talk of the town, there is another event that has suddenly caught the eyes of social media users. During the Qualifier 1 match, PBKS opted to debut Musheer Khan as their batting order saw a collapse. However, Khan failed to impress with the bat as he was dismissed on a three ball duck by Suyash Sharma. As Khan prepared to take his first ball of the IPL, netizens noticed Kohli talking to his teammates about the young batter. However, the internet is divided about what Kohli said to the PBKS batter. Some fans claim that Kohli referred to Khan as a 'water boy' and said, 'Ye paani pilata hai.' Others claim that Kohli wasn't insulting Musheer Khan, but was merely discussing with his teammates how the batter had served drinks earlier in the match. Netizens also dug up a post by Musheer Khan from earlier in the year where he thanked Kohli for giving him one of his bats. Musheer also thanked Kohli in a video posted about Punjab Kings where he stated, 'Maine rona shuru kar diya jaise hi unhone bat diya (I started crying the moment he handed me the bat). I told bhaiyya (Virat Kohli), I have scored a lot of runs from your bat. Sarfaraz bhai always used to give me your gifted bats.' Notably, Musheer is the younger brother of cricketer Sarfaraz Khan, who made his debut for the Indian Test team last year. Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma were the star of evening for RCB as they took three wickets each to completely upend the PBKS batting. As for the batters, Phil Salt led from the front for Bengaluru led franchise with his 56 run knock of just 27 balls at a dazzling strike rate of 207.41. However, Kohli (12) and Mayank Aggarwal (19) failed to stay at the crease long enough to finish the match for their franchise.
