Global digital travel platform Agoda has launched an AI-powered Vacation Planner , exclusively for Indian travelers . The tool, developed in collaboration with Google, uses Gemini and Imagen AI models to generate personalized travel itineraries within seconds, offering recommendations based on users' preferences across destinations, activities, accommodations, and more. To promote the initiative, Agoda is launching a multimedia campaign across YouTube and Meta platforms, aiming to engage different traveler personas using AI-optimized targeting. The project was co-developed with creative agency Kulfi Collective and AI studio TrueFan. In the videos created by the AI planner, Khurrana appears as a digital host, addressing users by their first names while delivering budget-friendly, stress-free travel suggestions tailored to each person. Gaurav Malik, Country Director for India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal at Agoda, emphasized the goal of transforming the travel planning experience. He said 'We've redefined the travel planning experience to be both personal and inspiring, and we're absolutely thrilled to make this available to Indian travelers this month!' How Agoda's AI planner works Gemini AI understands traveler preferences and queries to craft personalized plans. Imagen AI transforms those itineraries into rich, interactive visuals. Mr. Vacaywala, voiced through text-to-speech AI, narrates each day's plan. Users can download and share the itinerary instantly. According to Google Asia Pacific's Industry Head for Travel, Pulkit Lambah: 'This collaboration with Agoda reimagines travel — from basic bookings to instantly personalized, inspiring journeys powered by AI.'
